Cain was honestly relieved to be working, it meant doing something other than wondering around. Something other than worrying about lost memories he could do nothing about. Fennete had stayed behind today which was just as well, the guardian didn't want to have to worry about her while working. Besides a Death Priestess shouldn't be working..
Art and Antiques had been the destination and here he found himself, smack dab in the middle of the beautifully designed building. It didn't take long for the awkward looking Cain to be plucked up by a fierce female and given the run down. Something about her was appealing as it was, so he was careful to keep himself in check. As the job was offered though Cain readily accepted. Then as he was hurried away to start as an assistant sales clerk a message was sent off;
[Message to Fennete: Found Job. ]
Unlike what he imagined, which was standing behind a counter and looming, a duster was presented to the Death Guardian. The silly thing was looked over with a sharp eye, then more items were handed over and Cain was left blinking. Dust...clean...tedious work???
What had he gotten himself into!
Cain after a few moments of 'working' accepted his task, making sure each part of the main gallery was dusted. It wasn't hard, just annoying work and that being said it was done in a pristine manner. The death had pride in his work after all, even if it was work he disliked. When the last set of glass displays came up Cain frowned. The simple spray and swipe method hadn't worked as it had been.
A few tiny fingerprints remained on the glass, children no doubt. Disgusting little creatures had who knows what on their hands when touching this! Cain sprayed a little more juice onto the glass and bent. Using the new angle to put a little more elbow grease into rubbing them off. Low and behold it worked and after about thirty minutes of working on the stubborn set of prints he was staring at a beautiful clear glass. A very satisfied Cain then returned the supplies and left for the day since his job was over.
