Liya found her decision to visit Tani was a very good idea and she was about to leave the Conquest Common Rooms with a huge smile on her face. Of course, seeing as how their meeting point had been the training field, Liya had a ways to go before she could actually leave. There were still several corridors she would have to go through. Who knows, maybe she would even run into someone on her way out.
She wouldn't object to befriending new faces. The more clansmen she knew, the easier it would be to work together with them, after all.

After he had run into the War stallion in the pavilions and had a meeting with his friend Cain in the offices, Asahi had taken to wandering around the area for any more familiar faces. Or unfamiliar, he wasn't picky as evidenced by his first meeting had been with someone brand new. He didn't have anywhere in particular in mind in his wanderings so when he walked down a corridor and spotted another War clansmen, this time a female, he paused a bit in his step.
"Hello." He said with a smile and a nod in greeting. "Meeting someone or just exploring?" Though it could be that she was leaving the floor depending on where she was heading exactly as well. He gave the short Warrior a once over, not judging but out of curiosity, taking in her outfit and the fact that she was several inches shorter then him.

The greeting was met with a wide grin and a wave of her feathery wings. "Hiiiii!" radiating friendliness, she approached him even as he gave her a once-over. Granted, given her height it was difficult not to so she didn't take any offence from the gesture.
"I just came from checking in on a friend. She's doing well. Oh, how about you? How are you dealing with the memory loss?" she asked, suddenly concerned.

Her friendly return greeting got a brighter smile out of him and the wing wave got a chuckle. "Glad to hear she is doing well, it wouldn't do to have anyone suffering over this memory loss." While he had no idea just who her friend was, he did indeed hope that no one was too torn up over the memory loss. Unless said issues ended up spurring them on to figuring out what happened he supposed. "Me? I'm mostly curious as to what when on during that time that was lost after all just anything could have happened. And yourself? Are you dealing well?" He asked with a thoughtful look.
By this point her concern was both welcome and a curiosity as he started to wonder if she was always like that with people she just met or not.

Liya nodded, bouncing on her heels, "I agree! If anyone needed help because of the memory loss, the clan ought to come together to help. As for me, I'm doing okay now that I know that my friends are managing. I was just about to leave actually but exploring is always fun!" she said.
A beat.
"I'm Liya by the way. Warrior of the War Clan," she gestured to herself with a thumb, her other hand on her hip. "How about you?

"The clan indeed should." Asahi nodded with a smile. "Though at the moment it doesn't look like we can personally do much besides keep each other's spirit's up while the Famine Sages try to figure out what happened." It would be nice if said Sages would keep everyone updated on the process but then again it could eb they haven't discovered anything themselves. "That it is, exploring new places is the best part of my job."
At her introduction he gave a grin and a dramatic but playful bow before responding. "A pleasure to meet you Liya. I'm Asahi, a Noble of the Conquest clan."
She was making friends, finding things in common, yup, Liya was doing good despite that pesky lost day! "Pleasure to meetcha, Asahi! Mind if you show me some of your favorite places here, then? I mean, it's not like I've never gone around or tried training here before, but we all have different favorite spots and least favorite spots." Liya found those said a lot about a horseman.
But then again, she couldn't just ignore the possibility that "Unless you were heading out to do something else? I wouldn't want to make you miss an appointment or something like that."

"I don't mind it at all." Asahi said with a nod then grinned. "Very true, one person my look at something and find it lacking while another finds a jewel." Finding out what each person sees was always fascinating, even more so when you got an actual explanation along with it. "Of course it would only be fair if you let me know in return how you feel about the place as well, deal?"
He shook his head at her question. "No, I didn't have any place in mind when I started to walk." Other then mostly staying on floor for the time being anyway. "Shall we then if you don't have any appointments instead?"
Liya beamed at him, "You got yourself a deal! And if you're even in the War Commons, look me up, I'll show you the best places to fight and chill and flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-" upon remembering that Conquest Horsemen didn't have wings, Liya prolonged the syllable in trying to find an acceptable alternative. But it soon became apparent that she couldn't handle the mental gymnastics and just let the word peter out into awkward silence.
She pressed her lips together in a tight, embarrassed line and gestured for Asahi to lead on with her wing. She hoped he wasn't going to poke fun at her or make any remark on the way the apples of her cheeks seemed to darken.
