- David is a skilled pilot, driver, sailor, and- well to be honest if it has wheels or an engine he is almost certainly able to drive/pilot it with an experts skill. He is proficient with pistols and hand to hand combat but only at an adequate level. He also has a gift for understanding the way things work. Part of his affinity for piloting and driving was created by his urge to understand the way the machines worked. He was able to convert this natural understanding into explosives expertise and engineering.

- David really is not an expert with hand to hand and weapon based combat. He is no marksman either. Most of the time his brother is with him on missions to fill in the gaps in David's skill set.

- David is no soldier at heart. He is just a guy trying to use his advantages to help the rest of the world in the only way he knows how. He cares deeply for his friends and would do whatever he could to protect them. He cares even more for his brother.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Born in Glasgow, Scotland to Duncan and Isobel MacCall, David found his time with his parents limited by their murder. It drove his he and his brother closer while also instilling a fear of loss. During his childhood he grew close to his foster parents and chose to adopt their surname in 2000 though he understood when his brother did not do the same. During his youth he viewed the training as a game and not the tailoring of spies that it really was. While his brother looked to the British Army, David looked to join the Royal Air Force. He wanted to serve but found that the thrill of the plane under his control, the thrill of so much speed at his whim, was far greater than the uncertainly of storming a beach under the endless shellfire. When ISIA came to recruit Ian, David strongly urged him to accept. It seemed just the speed for his brother and he wanted Ian to find some joy in what he did. Little did he know that soon after ISIA would extend the same offer to him. When they did, David understood his brother's initial uncertainty. It really was a different world, yet in the end David accepted and went through the training. He graduated the year after his brother and has been serving ever since.
