 A slick, Superstar Authority-branded booth sits in the middle of a packed food court in one of NHC's many bustling Shopping Stems. The chitin plating-styled plastic is curved and polished, reflecting the many lights attached to it that flash on and off to the beat of Superstar Authority's perky and horribly catchy opening theme song. Clear plastic shelving has been arranged on either side of the booth, touting an array of various knick knacks, lit by more flashing, strobing lights. Around them are plastered signs advertising various businesses, individuals, and of course, Superstar Authority. A long, winding line has been set up before it, marked out with stanchions and a fuzzy grey carpet, for the crowds of trolls who are already lining up to get a better look at the troll lounging in the center of the booth.
A few trolls in Superstar Authority branded clothing circle the crowd, passing pre-signed swag out to the crowd.
As if a bomb filled with neon light had gone off, the Lil Mak Meet N Greet booth sprang to life in a flurry of bizarrely vibrant greens, pinks, and purples. Behind the booth sat the unmistakeable golden flare of Lil Mak herself. Off to the right of the booth was a polaroid camera mounted on a cobbled together contraption designed to hold it in place. T-shirts, Posters, Hats, and what looked like pins (???) were all displayed out on the booth and a small beanbag chair sat within the booth with a small sign above it which read “vvv SIT HERE!! vvv” in big purple lettering.

If you want to pick up an item, use the code below along with min 100 words of rp. Special requests are not guaranteed to be granted, so if they are not, assume you got your item from one of the booth helpers rather than the idol, and was not able to ask for the specific request.

Competitors & Sponsors
You can improve the crowd's like for you and your chances of making a big splash (ie winning) by answering requests from civilians. While competitors should be ideally taking as many requests as they can handle, sponsors can also help ease the workload by fielding care of requests that they can logically take care of (ie request for custom signing; can rp 'passing the request along'. request for a photo; 'i'm better to look at, take a photo with me instead!'). Once a competitor or sponsor has replied to a request it can be considered complete, no more posts are necessary from a game mechanics pov (though further roleplay is fine if desired).

Chiara moseyed around the booths, making sure all the competitors she had sponsored were in ship shape condition. She could not afford to let something slip, and she had the time, so why not? Allong for the ride was the blueblood's personal assistant, Ephias. Chiara had him around her arm, like a prom date, making sure to show the boy off, especially since she had convinced him to attend this thing with a suite that highlighted his physical strengths. The blueblood grinned aggressively at the redblood as she looked him up and down again. She was not exactly interested in him, but she was interested in having a handsome troll on her arm. Chiara raised an eyebrow as they neared a booth the girl was sure she recognized the hue of, and Chiara grinned up at the booth. Her grin turned to a frown quite quickly as she realized that the little purpleblood wiggler had neglected to put up her sponsor swag. Chiara pulled Ephias down to whisper in his ear about this slight the contestant was aiming at her, then returned the fake grin and neared the booth. "Well!" The blueblood said, trying to hide her irritation. It just felt like another slap, from yet another purpleblood, and Chiara could feel her anger growing. "How is it going "Lil Mak"?" The blueblood said, trying not to dig her nails into her redblood assistant's atm.

“Why are they all so bright?” Ephias grumbled, as he approached the purpleblood's booth with Chiara. Makkah, or Li'l Mak as she called herself, seemed to be no less flashy than the other stars, and Ephias was getting tired of it. Tired in general, really. The lights from the booth swam before his eyes. Reaching up, he stifled a yawn. For the time being, he would let Chiara address the to-be-star. Meanwhile he would take the opportunity to detach himself and inspect the merchandise that she was raising a fuss about.

Makkah saw the pair approach and sat up straight, glad of the patronage to the group. She swiped some Li’l Mak slap bracelets out of her way for some counter space to lean on and the bracelets tumbled to the side, curling in on themselves. ”Wassup Chiara! Or rather- *ahem*” Makkah stood up straight and assumed a rehearsed pose. Her arms began crossed in an ‘X’ in front of her torso before slowly rising up and over her head, as if reclining back on them. ”How’s it hangin’ my radical customers?! Welcome to Li’l Mak’s Meet ‘n’ Greet Booth! Home to a bunch of awesome merchandise for the up-and-coming rap star extraordinaire! All of this beautiful merch has been personally funded byyyyyy...” The purple blood made dramatic jazz hands as she brought her arms down. This motion was clearly an effort to distract from her eyes, noticeably looking down at a cheat sheet on the table. ”The Underworld, located in Chittentown! Hang out there if you’re looking for a chill place to get jiggy and misbehave! Great for a cool hang or a memorable Quadrant Night party!” That line might need some work... she thought, trying to hide her reaction as she switched to a new pose. ”The Death Dancers!! If you’re lookin’ for some real dancing skills, this is the place to check out! Don’t expect no amateur hour here, least of all from the illustrious Chiara” She made an exaggerated wink at this improvisational line, thinking she should put her best foot forward with sponsors present. She finished up the rest of the sponsors list, all complete with poses and a brief tag-line for each one. She ended with a dramatic flourish, pausing at it’s end to show it was over. After a brief moment of panting in place, she took her bow and popped back up excitedly. ”Now what can I do ya for?”

They were all so bright, but Poe kinda loved the energy of the event. Even so. When he wasn't chaperoning, he took a moment to approach another booth, this time for an energetic purpleblood. He had liked her rap that she did in her introduction. She seemed really cool, and he wanted to meet her!
When Poe approached the front of the booth, he saw he could get a photo with her. "I would like a photo, please!" he said eagerly. "And also, if it's not too much trouble, could you give me a quick rhyme? I uh, loved that! From your intro. It was so cool!"

Makkah watched a fan approach her booth. Sitting up straight, she began her to prepare her sponsor spiel, but before she could, the boy asked for a personal polaroid and the purpleblood's face lit up. ”Totally dude!” She was setting up the polaroid on its stand when he made his second request. She could totally do a rhyme! ”Yeah man, for sure! I'll tell ya what, what's your name? I'll throw it into the rhyme for flair!”

Poe grinned. "You can call me Poe! Most people do and that is much better for rhymes and puns, so, you can just use that." He stood next to her, readying himself for the picture, pushing his hair out of his eyes and lifting his goggles. Wouldn't be great to get a picture where he looked a mess.

Makkah had a perfect plan in place now. ”Word, Poe! Here's what we're gonna do, I'm gonna shoot you a dope rhyme and then we can snap the pic, sound good?”She readied her hand on the handheld button, a long wire connecting it back to the camera. ”Ayo, I'm here with Poe,
He's a guy you oughtta get to know,
He's asking for the slickest flow,
it's picture time so here we go!”And with that, the picture was snapped!
