Where am i? Lyssa was looking around franticly for what exactly she couldn't remember there was a dark feeling in the pit of her stomach. She glanced around frantically. "Zhi? where are you?" though she took a breath of relief as the spider climbed upon her flank then onto the webs wrapped around her wings. "There you are," Lyssa sighed "where are we?" she asked the spider though it couldn't answer. She could feel something running down her cheeks, and thoughts without context slipped through her mind. had she been abandoned again all alone? Lyssa had to get her bearings but she couldn't remember anything.
At least she had Zhi. the Spider hadn't left her, she smiled at the little companion she had since she was born. For some reason she knew that at least and Zhi's name along with her own. It was strange, Lyssa sighed sniffling, Lyssa looked around trying to stop herself from crying and noticed her wand. That was important it's also been with her for as long as she can remember. Lyssa rose from the grass and began looking around more calmly this time though her heart still felt heavy.
"H.Hello?" she called out, maybe there was someone nearby that was nice? Ok that could really backfire. Lyssa started walking, if only to get moving, she had nowhere to go.

Kichiro couldn't remember much of his life before he was an adolescent. He had some vague memory of a fall or an injury or something. He figured that was probably what made him forget--he had learned in the time since then that head injuries often interfered with memory. Lots of people lost their memory when they got hurt, and for some of them, it became permanent. It became amnesia. Kichiro was one of those unlucky few. With no memories, he couldn't remember where he came from or who his family was. It bothered him, and he tried hard every day to figure out his past. Little bits would come to him...He knew he lived in a herd once, with his family. He knew his family had been able to afford jewelry and other accouterments, because he'd been wearing clothes and jewelry since he woke up on the riverbank. And he thought his family might have been warriors, because one of the pieces of jewelry had been a necklace of knives. It had been a minor miracle that they hadn't killed him during his ride down the rapids. No, scratch that--it was a major miracle that he hadn't been hurt. He'd survived, so maybe the bumps on his head were just a small price to pay for his survival.
After that, he'd grown up alone. He'd always been alone. He wasn't very good with people, they were just too hard to figure out. But when he heard the sound of distress coming from up in the woods, he had to find out what was going on. He picked up the pace to a trot and followed the sounds of crying. He heard a mare's voice and headed towards her.
It would appear that the source of the crying was a white and yellow Lyra mare covered in webs. Not cobwebs, but strong, fresh webs that glowed slightly green. She was an odd-looking mare. She looked like a lioness or something--maybe she was? She had a bit of fluff on her shoulders like wildkin did, so he thought she might probably be a lioness then. He wondered idly if her wings transformed with her, if she turned into a winged lioness or just a normal one.
Maybe he should ask her.
"Hey," he said, stepping out from among the trees. "Are you okay?" She didn't seem to be, she looked like she was red-eyed from crying. He didn't understand people, but Kichiro still liked helping the ones who needed help. Maybe that was something his parents had taught him...Ice_Dragon_Demon I can't figure out if this takes place before or after "Waiting for their swords," so I'm just going to assume this takes place between losing his knives and before getting his sword and meeting his sister.

Nope, maybe she shouldn't of called out. Lyssa was not ready to meet anyone she suddenly thought "EEP" her ears flattened as someone actually came around and she jumped back shifting into her winged lion form her wings flattened against her back. And her tail curled forward.
The tiny little radioactive looking spider crawling out from underneath the halo and shook her foreleg at the approaching star. How rude scaring a girl like that. Zhi proceeded to Pat Lyssa's head to calm her down. There, there the spider stroked the mare's now furry head.
With Zhi's help Lyssa did calm a bit finally. Lyssa herself wasn't sure why she was so frightened by things. There were scary things out there sure but... Everything seemed to scare her right now was it because of all the things she didn't know? He seemed to be asking if she was alright, she realized. Her ears perked a bit
"H..h hi, um.. sorry" she managed as she relaxed a bit was it ok to tell him she was lost? he seemed nice despite her initial reaction. Maybe he was alright. "I don't know who I am or where I came from, I think I've been abandoned... but I. I don't remember." she blurted tearing up again. The Spider still patting her head in a comforting manner.

Ah, okay, at least one question was answered. As soon as she heard him, the mare turned into a lioness, one with wings. So yes, she was a wildkin, and yes, her wings stayed when she turned into a lion. She was a cute lion, but she also looked just as unhappy in this form as she was in her equine form. Her tail was curled protectively around herself, as if it could protect her from danger. Kichiro didn't really think it could, but it was clear she was upset nonetheless. So instead of continue to walk towards her, he laid down on the ground and pulled his wings in tight, trying to look non-threatening. He didn't want to look scary, he just wanted to find out what was going on and what he could do to help.
He blinked. There was a tiny spider on her head, only visible because it was glowing. It waved at him, then patted its mistress's head. He smiled at both of them, the lioness and the spider. The spider at least was friendly and not afraid of him.
He felt his heart twist a little at her words. Here's someone who knows exactly how I feel, he thought. "Hi," he said. "My name's Kichiro. And I don't know who I am, either. I got lost a long time ago, and I never found my way home again." He flicked his tail. "Would you like some help finding your people? They might still be nearby."

Slowly Lyssa regained her equine still kneeling on the ground as she started to calm down. His words were strangely comforting, He didn't know where he was either? Her eyes were still rather puffy from the tears that still remained in the corner.
The spider continued to pet her friends head until she calmed down. The stallion seemed to be nice enough so Zhi didn't have to worry too much it seemed so she focused on taking care of Lyssa.
"My name is Lyssa, and t..that's Zhi." she motioned to the spider. " Our names are the only thing I can remember." She spoke quietly glancing down shyly as her mane fell into her face, her feline ears though turned toward him listening. Her tail was sill curled around her.
"I would like that." though she didn't know how long she'd been lost but something told her that she'd never see the family that abandoned her again.
