She has no boundaries, even with her children, and her behavior when it comes to others is bar none below her. She acts as if she detests all those who thinks themselves equal, though she treats her children and even her slaves like lavish pets. She has no care for honor, and even less about dignity, and she is the vampire that will do anything and everything to solidify her power within her kingdom and stretch her fingers across the entire globe. Everyone around her, besides her children and even some slaves, will see how she twists and weaves her way through a conversation, and her cunning and desires are worn on her sleeve. Carmine is the best queen the vampires could have asked for, and by the gods she molded herself into it for the betterment of all.

Towards her children she is like a different person. Yes, she sees them more as pets that must always obey, but there is also a hint of kindness in her actions. She does things for them, comforting them with her voice, her actions, when they are low but also disciplining them when they needed it. This was especially prominent when Alden was alive, their father. The man that got to his throne without any work, he was the posterchild Carmine forced her children to never become. While her discipline tactics "go too far" for some, they are so common amongst the household that no one bats an eye to them; it is simply an understood phenomena that only is caused by a certain kind of effect. Carmine loves her children, even through her bitterness, degradation, and lust for power one thing is certain: she truly does love her children.

Biography ▶ Carmine was born before the wars, before the hatred, and before everything went to s**t. She was a normal vampire, growing in a house that was far too cruel and uncaring to be deemed a home. Her mother, Angelique Damphine was a woman so hopped up on blood she could barely think straight. It was the child's father, Gregor Damia that raised her every day. Not that teaching your child how to maim, murder, and to have a sharp tongue was truly raising someone. This is how Carm grew, learning the art of seduction and silver tongues to her advantage. She would never rule the throne, something her father would beat into her every single day, but at least she would make a man- a king so very happy.

The queen-in-training witnessed the Fallen war first hand. Such a time should not be revisited, even here, but soon after this was when the Vics took over power. She was right there, pushing out those who did not deserve their power and erecting herself in their place. Of course it was easy for her as she was one of the Krighund ordered by the very Vic that took everything away from the others: Grey. He was a fool... Never watching his back. He took so much power for himself, for all those who were fortunate to be deemed Vics, but he couldn't see a snake in the grass when it was right before him.

It would have been justice to state the queen was born that day, but it would take her another 400 years to amass such a title of worth. She married the man she put onto the throne after she slid the silver dagger across Grey's throat. Carmine did everything she needed to do to place herself on the seat of power and keep it. She birthed children, she appeared to be happy and loving and doting on her husband, and she even succumbed herself to live as a simple housewife. This was her life for that time, but even the ones that loved you can not see the poison a dart frog seeps into your blood with a flick of its body.

Growing the Krighund in secret was easy, indoctrinating her daughter into it was even easier. It was all so simple, moving the chess pieces and watching them dance in real life. It became a game for her, to see how much she could push, how drastically she could change the world. She grew the slave market, the assassination contracts. Hiding behind her husband was simple for her, she was already in the shadows because of the society they lived in so what was the harm? She had her scientists develop the Ambrosia, annihilated entire settlements of vampires, and amassed blitz attacks to grow their empire again. All of this, everything, was her! And still her husband was there, appearing to take all the credit, to mock her where she stood. No... the dart frog would attack...

Her husband was dead, and oh did Carmine weep for him... in the open at least. Her daughter, her beautiful Lyrica and her children was all she had for some time and suitors tried to grasp onto her hand for marriage. But the Queen would not take it. The Krighund, her assassin daughter- Carmine needed nothing else but the pure power she controlled. And gods was she going to show everyone for the next thousands of years how one rules with an iron fist...

Other Vices or Virtues ▶ Ask Lyrica...

Her Children ▶ Lyrica: A shining example of everything a momma's girl could be, Lyrica is Carm's pride and joy. While all her children can see a different side of the queen, especially when she's being nice and understanding, Lyrica can see no wrong in anything she does. She is the easiest to manipulate, and while all of her children would do anything for their mother, there is just something about Lyrica and her ability to maim. Carmine spent more time with her, comforting her from the wrathful strikes from Alden, or the many years of exile she had to endure without her mother, and their bond shows. Her child is in a small list of things that Carmine greeds for, and nothing that Lyrica could do could possibly stop that. The queen is so in love with her child that when she found that she had been exiled, a hunt began. She was already in the works for amassing the Krighund forces to her, and she sent them to every part of their territory. The game was started late, as she had been on a diplomatic mission at the time of Alden's betrayal, but still she was vicious in her attempts to find her daughter. She could not leave the kingdom, knowing that Alden would play some ruse for her demise, even if he could not succeed, and thus she waited. When word came, however, Carmine left her kingdom and traveled many miles so that her face was the first her daughter would see. Lyrica... was already broken, however. The one thing about Carmine and her children is that no matter what happened to them in their life, she is still there for them no matter what. She was there for her daughter after her episodes, after her anger and childish resentment, and while most anyone else would see her break as a ill fortune, Carmine accepted and loved her daughter through it; no matter what.

Xakaz: Her second son and her third child, Xa was a welcomed sight into the family. While his brother had white hair, a clear indication of his father, Carmine's pure little boy had her inky locks. Regret in her life does not happen often, but it happened in the case of her boy. She was so wrapped up in Lyrica at the time, still cultivating her into a killer, a murderer, that she barely spent any time with Xakaz. It led him to painting and the arts, something Carmine holds interest in but not love, and thus she was not angry with his choosing. Yes, she wished for him to become that of the Krighund like his sister, but she was the doting, supportive mother while her husband... After the day that Alden had thrown her child threw a window after beating him to a pulp, all of his art destroyed, it was Carmine that nursed him back to health with blood she had not even let Lyrica drink. The magical properties in the liquid helped heal her son faster than normal, but something was off about him. He was no longer the boy he once was, and in truth Carmine was the happier for it. He took up the craft, still keeping his interests but distorting them in such a way, and on each successful canvas Carmine would reward her boy. It was enough to win him to her, even though she had no doubt in her mind regardless that Alden or anyone else would be chosen. When Xa's temper got the better of him, launching at his father and being beaten back, Carmine taught him a lesson then too. It was for his own betterment, of course, and the boy saw that. But soon after she told him of the ways to assure victory every time, to cut down any and all who opposed him even those of greater strength. These lessons continued to win Xa over to his mother, and in the end it was no surprise he stayed that way.

      Combat__Specs

Combat Strengths ▶ Silver Tongue and former member of the Krighund- can talk down or even hypnotise the best of them via her own talents or through the usage of her blood; and as a previous assassin she has all the skills of the shadows

Fastest vampire alive- Carmine is quite simply the fastest vampire alive, and thus the fastest land dweller out there. She can disappear and reappear almost at the speed of light, and there are very few that can track her movements

Blood Ascendent- Not something just anyone could say, Carmine is beyond masterful with her craft and everyone knows it. Even simple distraction blood magic can kill and her rituals are beyond anything one has seen before

Combat Weaknesses ▶ Uncaring of Weaklings- Carmine has this thing, and that means she detests those who she sees as weaker than her; which is everyone. Therefore, she can never see or comprehend someone getting the drop on her or ever beating her which leaves her open to obvious attacks

Plays with her Food- Something she just can't stop, the vampire will not finish off foes fast enough because she just enjoys screwing around with them. This leads to possible escapes or sudden life threatening moves

Uncaring of Blood Loss- Carmine is a master in her field, and she doesn't care about how much blood she loses because of it. She will use her blood to mess with her targets instead of killing them outright, and she doesn't care in the least on how much she's using as long as she can get her kick with torturing another person

Expertise ▶ Turning thralls, something she loves to do and is quite good at

Probably the fastest blood sucker alive, and yes she's had contests to prove it

Carmine has an excellent singing voice. She usually used it, and stretched her vocal muscles, to calm her children after a fight with their father or when anything was particularly bad. If anything else, her children always yearn for her soft hums as it brings them back to their safe place

Equipment ▶ A ring she uses that has inner spikes circling the band. It gives her a quick way to release minute amounts of blood at once

In adult form she has a long pole that appears to be a riding crop. She uses this even in child form to whip disobedient slaves, or those who enjoy such things

She has a small dagger running across her back, just at the small of her back, and it is made of carbon like materials
