Floors 61-90 of the the Dusk is controlled by Conquest. Personal rooms are ornate and decadent and often respectful. Each room is more like a spacious quarter that has individual bathing facilities, a resting area, and a meditation room.
Along with individual rooms there is a floor dedicated to the study of military arts, from training in single combat to the tactics of conquest used throughout history. Another floor for ceremonial observances, along with both scholarly and artisan pursuits. The conservatory, filled with exotic plants and minipets is a popular place to stroll
The most common meeting grounds for members of Conquest, however, is at the Water Pavilion, a spacious floor with airy, vaulted ceilings. Designed around a large water platform with pavilions arching across each other in bridges, thousands of lotuses decorate the water.
It's here that you find Edict, Conquest Herself, seated in heavy robes, surrounded by counselors and aides and a never ending procession of paperwork.

⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊ Training Space : Nobody knows why, but someone placed a baseball field in this space, though nobody actually knows how to play baseball: it probably had something to do with this whole modernization thing. Short of that there are two large expansive fields, both of them versatile enough for both martial arts training and the more variable hit them with the pointy end ones.
⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊ Classrooms: Conquest horsemen are famous for their education skills, especially the Scholars. Here are individual classrooms for said horsemen to teach a variety of skills they might have acquired, from the fine arts to calligraphy, to Spinners and Dabbing 101.
⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊ The Greenhouse/Conservatory : One of the best self reflection, meditation, and healing spaces in the tower, this area is soft and quiet, peaceful without being intrusive. It contains a variety of minipet life too, and red butterflies that seem to have no purpose than to fly around and gently remind visitors they exist. Almost 300 unique species of flowers, some even preserved from the Human World, exist here.
⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊⦊ Water Pavilion : The infamous water pavilion, intersected by several beautifully designed archways, bridges dancing just above the water. The entire area below is water, but it pristine, beautiful, like everything of conquest, nearly covered in eternal lotuses. Someone, they say a certain someone from War, decided to introduce Magic Koi minipets into the water, and since then, they have multiplied to an almost ludicrous amount. They gather together sometimes, at the surface of the water, lazily waiting for minipet candies. While ceremonies can be handled here too, there are also peaceful and relaxing office spaces for the inclined to reside. An ideal condition that comes with an endless supply of tea.

It was a relief to find that her personal quarters were satisfactory and to her taste, save for maybe a few paintings that were far too abstract to figure out what was going on. There was a vague sense of being at home, which she supposed was more than she could have hoped for for something who didn't remember much.
She had been told that Edict was present at the Water Pavilion, but her intentions to pay her respects and news of her return took a backseat once she realised how busy their leader was. Her trip here would not be in vain however, as she did enjoy the beautiful scenery that had been carefully put together. Though if there was something to complain about-
“Have some respect for yourselves won't you?” she sighed, leaning over the ledge of one of the smaller pavilions she had settled in. The school of Magic Koi continued to gape pathetically, tripping over each other begging to be fed. “How can anybody paint you like this?” she shook her head and took a sip of tea. Nevermind that they were completely graceless, but morbidly obese on top of that.
Ripples scattered across the surface of the pond somewhere up ahead, and for a moment the fish were gone. And then they were back, ravenous as ever.
“No.” she rejected flatly, turning back to the scroll she had been reading. She could not find any records describing the history of how this place came to be, but there were several articles describing the “modernization”. Such as how urban legend tells of a fish that would evolve into a majestic dragon.
… Yea she couldn't see that happening with these.

Peril was relearning the building. Though if anyone asked he was surveying and looking for building damage. That felt right it sounded right. Someone had to maintain the structure right? And someone had to be sure security wasn't breached and make sure they didn't they have some unwanted visitors.
Peril was only looking in the main halls and common rooms. The individual rooms was the people who lived there's job.
Perils own room was fairly sparse. Just some lizards and enough spaces to nap. And a coffee maker and a few odds and ends.
And no damage. everything seemed to be in place. he wasn't finding anything too damaged elsewhere either. It seemed that whatever had happened yesterday didn't need anyone surveying repairs.
He found his friend from earlier, along with, many fish in a pond. They were... interesting. Peril wondered at them and then pulled a few of the older termites from his horde and dropped them in the water. The fish eagerly gobbled them up. He smiles a bit, amused at their antics, and wondered if he could take one to feed his swarm in return. Probably not.
"Did you find the leaders?" he finally asked.

[Enter] [Water Pavilion]
After having spent a brief amount of time in his room on floor 66, Asahi had quickly gotten bored with it and gone down to the common area of his clan. He had thought about heading over to the training area but instead he made his way over to the Water Pavilions. His eyes flitted around to take in the lotuses and the visible koi minipets as he walked along one of the many bridges, heading towards one of the open pavilions. Once he came to an unoccupied pavilion he took a seat and stared at the water for a time.
When he spotted a magic koi hanging out under the surface not far from where he was sitting, he pulled a minipet treat out of a hidden pocket and tossed it into the water for it to devour. The fish was quick to chase after it and Asahi gave a smirk as it was soon joined by other koi trying to look for food. He ended up amusing himself but tossing in a few more treats, just one at a time to see if they would push each other for it. When that became less amusing he folded his hands together and looked around.
So far there wasn't many people in the Water Pavilions but with the resent memory problems it could be that they were trying to find ways to jog their memory of just what happened yesterday. He was curious himself but wait to see if anyone else had any progress just yet.
Tria was sold on the idea. She'd stolen her way to the Conquest common rooms, a sketchpad under her arm, the vague concept of fish themed jewelry swirling in her mind, and a quest to capture a magical koi (for SCIENCE. To study! To draw!) At least, that's how it had started. She'd since abandoned the sketchpad on the floor of a nearby , and was hurling minipet candies into the water.
"ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE!" she bellowed, flinging the candies as far as she could over the water, watching gleefully as it plopped through the surface, and the subsequent churning and thrashing as the koi swarmed the location. Tria pumped her fist in the air with a triumphant "HA" before realizing with a small meep that she was disturbing the tranquility of the pavilion. Tria couldn't help automatically scanning the room, trying to see if any of the room's other occupants had noticed her ... exclamation. She offered a guilty smile towards the duo on a nearby pavilion island.
"S-sorry," Tria called over, still a little abashed at her own behavior, her fist still clenched around a handful of candies.

Xiao Lang
Xiao's quarters were just as pleasant as he could have imagined, albeit a bit...small, but he wasn't about to comment on that anytime soon, not when he'd only just returned to them. He let his fingers drift along the seams of the golden edged blanket for the briefest of moments before he slipped out of the room, followed by the ever loyal Jinhai, who had remained, strangely, mostly silent for most of the time so far.
"No comments so far?" Xiao murmured to him, quirking a brow, and Jinhai smiled, looking faintly amused.
"Perhaps later," he said, and Xiao merely shook his head as they stepped into the Pavilion, the sound of running water meeting his ears. A young woman was just up ahead, scowling down at something beneath them - Xiao took a curious step closer, catching the tail end of her complaints.
"Who are you speaking to, exactly?" He asked, head tilted to the side, Jinhai stopping beside him with his hands tucked into the long, dark draping of his sleeves. He looked very at ease, relaxed, even, back on familiar ground; Xiao felt a pull of relief before he turned his attentions back to the young woman - and the young man who had appeared as well.
"Are you trying to draw them?" he asked, gesturing to the koi in the pond. "I'm not sure fish are all that great of a subject."

“Ah, it's nice to see you again Peril,” she greeted the horseman, unsure of what to feel about watching him feed the fish with his own... friends? Specimens? There were plenty left, so it probably didn't matter.
“I did, all of them are present in the tower, or so I've heard,” she nodded. Everything seemed normal and functioning as usual, which made the collective loss of memory all the more unsettling. Binghua watched Peril tend to the fish for a while before speaking again.
“They seem to amuse you,” she remarked nonchalantly. “Why don't you take a few back? I don't think it's them that need feeding...” her voiced trailed off as she gave the Famine horseman a once-over.
And yet the fascination with them seemed endless as she watched another horsewoman scatter candies into the pond. Now this one knew how to use the fish for sport. She can't say she disliked watching the struggle for success when put like that. BingHua smiled and waved off the horsewoman's apology. “You too, take a few back if you'd like. You might make fine jewelry out of them yet.” Surely nobody would call her out on her secret agenda to prune the pond of its fish infestation.
“Not these fish, yes...” she sighed in response to her fellow clansmen that had joined them. Right now, all they were was a mess of white, orange and black. Much like some of the paintings she had seen around in the common room.
…
“Don't you think some of these might be better off relocated to a more spacious home?” she blinked at Xiao Lang. One more person to convince in her campaign against the fish.

He'd barely stopped long at his room before he hit a button to head towards the common area of the Conquest clan. Nadir rolled his shoulders uneasily, that tension still radiating from him as he tapped his boot none too silently in the elevator, wings tucked close against his body to make sure he didn't hit anyone that was in there as well. He was ticked off, but he was trying to not take it out on any one--well, at least outside of a spar in the training grounds.
He'd be heading to the War common area for some of that after.
When the doors open, he briskly walked out, taking in the soothing atmosphere, the flowers, the elegance. It was odd to him, not his preferred styles or place, but he did enjoy the Water Pavilion--and the fish minipets. That was his goal as he strolled down the walkways, breathing in slowly and releasing through his mouth at an equal rate, trying to bring his pulse back down. His nerves back down. Really just everything down some notches.
Usually he did it the other way around--sought out a place to relax and refocus after venting energy, but he didn't view that as a smart move this time. As it was, he hoped to speak to others there, see if any other information about the previous day's events were known by anyone.
People were beginning to gather, and he thought to linger and listen into their talks, but his feet kept on walking down the bridges, watching the koi eye him, a few following him, clearly sniffing--of sorts--for treats. He'd tossed a few in for them, having grabbed some from his room when he decided where he'd head next, and by the time he got to a pavilion with only one person present, there were a few koi minipets gaping after him, quickly going for more treats as he used his thumb to flick them in from his fist.
Snorting and shaking his head, he looked to the Conquest horseman already seated in the area, inclining his head to him before nodding his head towards the minipets. "What a life that would be to live. Not a care in the damned world. Or a care for memory loss."

Wearing skins around his hips he doesn't shy from showing skin, his accented voice a rumble from his chest by normal--a bomb of thunder when required. His hair is pale and kept somewhat short, with golden wings dotted with cream and red feathers.
Asahi was just debating about getting up and finding something else to do when he spotted the War Horseman coming along the bridge. There were plenty of other pavilions but he wasn't against someone else joining him in this one, not when it would give him something to fight off the boredom while also being a possible curiosity for him to poke and prod at.
He eyed the winged man for a moment, taking in his scars and decorations that stood out well on his dark skin, then gave a smile when the pale haired Chieftain spoke. Well now here was someone who could lessen the boredom. "I think it would be a peaceful, but boring, life." He replied to the other then tossed another minipet treat into the water for the magical koi. It wasn't like he had a shortage of them since he had been planning on coming here anyway. He watched as they once again went after the treat then looked at the other Horseman again.
"I take it you are worried about the memory loss?" He asked after a moment. "Not that I can blame you, I don't like that no one can remember what happened." While he hadn't done much to try and remember himself, the fact that no one else had made any stride was both annoying and worrying. Just anything could have happened during that twenty-four hour period as evidenced by the change of color the crystal had experienced. Who knows just what else had happened and as far as he knew no one had released any info on any discoveries found either.
The green-haired Noble received a quick once-over. Not disinterest or dismissive, but a vague interest and automatic response to size up any around him. Smaller than he, Nadir was curious how the horseman faired as a scout, curious of his knowledge of tactics and warfare--in particular, if there was anything he could learn and adapt to his own uses.
A throaty chuckle met the Noble's judgement, nodding his head absently. "Aye, as such peaceful lives tend to be. The greatest excitement is a treat or an insect landing on the water's surface." The koi proved this point as they swarmed for the treat the other tossed in, adding in a few more himself. It was a simple life, and at times he wished for things to be simple, but the fact of the matter was, he'd never be content with a life without its conflicts and trials. That which made life worth living--triumph, and failures to learn from.
"More than a tad," he admitted, grunting at the question of the memory loss. "Blasted AI dinae give us anyt'in' tae worth wi'." As his temper rose, his accent thickened, feathers ruffling at his back. "T'ere no news here 'hen?" All he had was the information the Famine Sage offered. The crystal going red instead of green. Everyone getting caught in something that made them lose all memories of whatever happened twenty-four hours prior. Too much could happen. Too much did happen. He made a sound somewhere between a growl and a click of his tongue, flinging a few more treats out into the water, watching the ripples disrupt the tranquility of the place.
He'd come here for peace, not more anger. Taking in deep breaths through his nose, he let them out through his mouth, shoulders rising and falling, chest expanding and deflating with each push and pull of air. He needed to ease back. Not amp up. "Sorry," he offered on a grunt after a moment of trying to collect himself. "Perhaps would have been better to hit the training courses first 'fore coming here."

Peril smiled and happily dug one out of the fish tank. They were pretty easy to lure over considering they thought they were going to be fed again. Greedy things.
He took a whole gapping fish and shoved it into a pocket where it flopped awkwardly against his let. The termites already descended picking it apart. The movement stopped shortly after.
"You are very kind to share." he nodded.
"Also it is good to heard that all the leaders are here and in tact. I've been checking the walls and everything seems to be in order. I haven't found anything usual, except that the crystal was once green and is now red." it was a short status report. He didn't have new information but figured that confirming appearances was a good idea.
He let down another termite, tormenting them and moving the termite around as a fish fallowed, not smart enough to realize it's companion had been taken for the eatings.
Peril did watch as she tried to off load the rest of the fish on the others. Clearly there were too many and she was culling the school. Respectable.
Tria's antic didn't bother him much, though he did edge away from the candles.

Xiao Lang
He did actually like the fish. Xiao let his gaze wander lower, watching the path of a specific red and orange splashed fish slowly wriggle past the others and make its way a little farther ahead, towards a lesser occupied part of the water. Beside him, Jinhai made an approving noise; the assistant wasn't much for words, but after years and years of working together, he didn't need to use them for Xiao to understand him.
"Perhaps," he said agreeably. "You could maybe take them back to your quarters for pets. Or maybe, if what you were referring to, you could release them better into the a larger body of water, though I don't really know of any nearby, I suppose. Still - they are beautiful."
One of the horsemen was throwing candy down. Xiao peered curiously at her, shifting from one foot to the other, feeling, not for the first time, just how much smaller he was than the rest of them. Not due to age, or infirmity, or experience - in fact, he was pretty sure he was as experienced as even the most dedicated - but the simple, pathetic matter of height.
He wasn't going to think about that. In fact, he was most definitely going to try not to think about that.
Jinhai made a coughing sound. Xiao turned his attention back to the present.
"How are you finding your rooms?" he asked - a generalized question to them all, not so much focused on one over the other. There were a group of them, after all, and he wasn't about to focus solely on one person. Or at least, he was going to try not to. Whether or not he succeeded was beside the point.
"I'm Xiao, by the way," he added, somewhat belatedly. He gestured to his companion.
"This is Jinhai, my assistant."

BingHua maintained her serene smile as she watch Peril take one for the keeping...or feeding. As how all things go in the circle of life.
“If you would like a few more, I can arrange for them to be delivered to you,” she nodded, sending her earrings dancing. All things said, she preferred to see them being sent off while still alive.
“Oh, I don't know about pets... I would have to hire someone to look after them while I'm kept busy,” she sighed wistfully, taking a far look out into the pond. The death horsewoman was still there, and BingHua gestured towards her to come join them. “Care to join us for some tea?” she offered, turning back to extend the invitation to Peril, Xiao and his aide.
“The rooms are satisfactory, and I must say I'm warming up to the more... modern style of painting. I hope you have found them adequate too?” she replied as she set out the teacups and poured the tea.
“I'm BingHua, pleased to have your company on this lovely day.”

If, or when, Nadir asked, Asahi would be more then willing to teach him any tactics he knew. After all the entire point in learning them was to be used and what better way to be sure they got used then to spread them around to other Horsemen?
"So very true. Though I suppose a chosen few might get some more excitement if someone came a long and decided to take some with them, it still would be a peaceful life more then likely." Asahi said as he watched the War Chieftain throw in more treats for the hungry minipets. No matter what, life as a minipet, or at least one of these magic koi minipets, was likely to be boring which was something he couldn't stand. He had embraced the life of a Noble because it offered chances to explore and to have his curiosity tickled after all.
The change in accent was both a surprise and something interesting. It certainly wasn't a bad accent even if it probably could, and would, get harder to understand at times where the other man was feeling strongly as evidenced now. "Sadly no, I haven't heard of any news just yet though it could be that any new information wont show up right away beyond the Famine floors." He gave a thoughtful hum and debated if he should go and check out that theory but before he suggested it the Chieftain apologized and calmed his tempter. "No need to be sorry, you certainly aren't the only one riled up." His lips twisted into a half smirk, half smile. "If you think so, I could always accompany you to one and be a sparing partner to help?"
Had Nadir been in a better frame of mind, he'd have already struck up a conversation about the Noble's experiences, explorations, and knowledge. As it were, such things were far from his head at the time. Though he was at least able to laugh at the prospects of how life must be for those simple creatures they were feeding. "Perhaps they need a predator to liven things up? Though I suppose it'd ruin the spirit of things here." Pros and cons--though he did enjoy the space to attempt to relax.
Attempt being the key word.
He ran a free hand through his pale locks, breath coming out roughly. "I've halve m'mind to go demand more answers of them, but judgin' on how a conversation with a Sage went..." He left his voice to trail off with a shrug and flick of his hand. "Not entirely sure it'd be worth the elevator ride."
Nadir wasn't one to stay in place. He wasn't one to sit back and twiddle his thumbs. If he wanted answers, he went out and found them, or found resources that could aid him. This wasn't a productive method he was dealing with right now. But the Noble did offer a method of further distressing, and the War stallion let out a snort of interest as he eyed the smaller horseman. "I'd not object. It's been a time since I've seen one of the Conquest clan fight, and I've yet to backdown from a chance to learn other tactics or means of combat." Again his wings ruffled, though more from the anticipation of a potential fight, rather than any anger. "Though I've little manners it seems. I go by Nadir, and you?"
He offered a hand out--the one that wasn't still holding the last few minipet treats.
