Physical Description: Cinndi has strawberry blonde hair, a bright smile, and sticky out ears. Her eyes are the same ocean blue as he mother and brother. Her hair is straight and medium length. She usually wears it tied up or in braids.
Personality: Cinndi is a bright, playful, rambunctious child, full of life and light and energy. She got her mother's smarts, but with a little more eclecticness. She doesn't have a singular passion that drives her attention, but jumps around between a dozen or more things that grab her interest, from marine biology to music. She's a daydreamer, whose imaginative mind is pulled in all directions, leading to a lack of focus that can hold her back somewhat when it comes to buckling down on a particular topic.
Her mother taught her a great many things, but tact was not one of them. Instead, she seemed to delight in raising a daughter that would speak her mind to anyone, and would even intervene when other adults tried to correct her behavior. As an academic, she appreciated straight-talk more than social courtesy, and believed the world would be better if people just said what they meant. On the one hand, this can be seen as a positive, as the two share a trusting and open relationship most parents would envy. Cinndi is extremely honest with her mother, and with others. She rarely, if ever, lies or even embellishes the truth, and never hides things from her mother.
On the other hand, she lacks many of the social graces needed to navigate the world outside her sphere. She was never taught 'respect your elders', or the value of a white lie. She may come off as disrespectful, even cruel, in her honesty. Though obedient to a point, her mother taught her to always question, and she is unlikely to ever put up with 'because I said so' as an adequate explanation. If she can understand the necessity of something, she will put up with a lot, however. She doesn't shy from hard work or discomfort, as she was raised in an ever-changing world of danger and uncertainty.
Constantly on the move, Cinndi has always struggled to connect with peers, but unlike her brother, she simply doesn't mind. She prefers the company of adults or older children, and often finds it difficult to relate to children her own age. She's remarkably mature for someone her age, a low maintenance kid, more likely to blend into the background than kick up a fuss. She is, however, still a child, and has some childish tendencies. She's shy around new people, and will cling close to her mother or someone else she knows until she gets used to them. And while she's able to rationalize and understand situations from other people's points of view on an intellectual level, she still responds to things emotionally with a certain childish selfishness. She gets upset when her mother breaks up with someone she liked, or they have to leave somewhere where she was having fun.
She has a large number of both rational and irrational fears, and is prone to nightmares. With an overactive imagination, she spins herself into a fret sometimes, thinking about the unknown. She seems to collect phobias like other children collect toys, though she will claim to have a rational reason for each of them.

History: Cinndi was born on the road, between Starcraft Halls in the Eastern and Western continents. Like her brother, she never knew much about her father, except that he was a dragonrider from a Weyr. The two siblings were very close growing up, and Timor was often the one looking after her. They were together all the time, and she was understandably upset when he left them to be a candidate at High Reaches Weyr, though by that point she was already quite mature for her age, and was able to say goodbye and wish him luck without crying (at least until after they'd left).
Prone to nightmares since she was young, Cinndi is what some might describe as a morbid child. She made a hobby of 'contingency plans', often discussing in great length what gory tragedy she might've imagined and how they can prevent it. Though her anxieties were worrying, since she seemed to have her own coping mechanisms in place, her family mostly left her to it, figuring it was a phase she would eventually grow out of.
Though she never asked about her father specifically, Cinndi craves and often looks for other male role models in her life. This has led to some heartbreak, as she often becomes close to the men her mother dates, which inevitably, eventually come to an end. It's the one thing the two of them frequently fight about.
Already a somewhat nervous child, Cinndi had a rather extreme reaction to thread's return. They were out in the open when it started, and while they were able to navigate around it and find shelter, it clearly had quite an impact on her. Though she seems happy and cheerful during the day, her nightmares have been getting worse, and her mother is beginning to wonder if some more stability would be good for her.
Cinndi has just started Starcrafting as her mother's apprentice, though in reality she doesn't really know what she wants to do. Even when they fight, she's quite clingy with her mother, and doesn't want to be separated from her, making Starcrafting more of a practical choice than a passion. Her mother's recently taken up with a Seacrafter, dabbling in the navigational aspect of their craft as a kind of break from her other work, and the two have been together for some time now. Cinndi greatly admires the man, and dreams of being a navigator on a fancy ship like his one day.
Other: Hoping it might calm her nerves, her mother recently got her a canine puppy she named Belior.
