 Right now most of the herd's decisions fell upon her, however morrigan wanted nothing to do with Nefertari's precious religion. Morrigan had her own, she kept it to herself however. Morrigan was a queen in her own right and general not a priest. Ramla had been coming to her for various things on the gods she cared so little for. They were Nefertari's old gods. It was distracting having to deal with the Divinity. So instead, Morrigan was going to appoint their second eldest daughter heir to deal with them. Amunet the eldest had been rather scarce and Morrigan never saw her. Parushta their son had left after he'd been appointed as heir; not that morrigan cared she didn't really keep track of the boy he didn't want anything to do with the herd. Nefertari cared a surprising amount however she was planning to be more careful with her next choice. Nefertari had been... distracted as of late. Which once again led to morrigan having everything on her shoulders. She snorted; not that she needed to expel air, she was an algol after all.
Anck who Morrigan was quite proud of knew what needed to be done however, Morrigan suspected Anck wouldn't have expected such a day to come. Anck was only the second born daughter. Morrigan had left her to Nefertari to rear with the exception of physical training. None of her children would be weak. Anck took quite excellently to training, Morrigan had watched as she'd become quite deadly. Though the thought of taking the throne herself had crossed morrigan's mind; she could end all this nonsense. But it seemed a little counter productive considering most of the herd followed these old gods of Nefertari. Besides, she had the army to do with that she saw fit and she'd softened a little. Not that she'd ever admit that ever, not even to herself.
Standing beside the throne Morrigan bellowed to the servants "find my daughter; Anck-Su-Namun" she roared at them watching them scramble. The sight was quite entertaining as always.

 How strange it was to be called upon, had her mothers finished doting upon their newest children now that they were grown and moulded? perhaps there was a task she was to complete since her brother failed. Atsuseth must have been spotted, and they were sending Anck out to kill him. Anck was used to being the one doing the dirty work, it was the only time her mother usually called. No matter obediently Anck accepted the summons.
Nefertari wasn't there however, her other mother Morrigan was. Curious for morrigan to call her without the Pharaoh. something must have happened.
Anck wondered how desperate the situation was, though was pulled from her thoughts by the general.
Morrigan waited for the doors to close before settling her attention on her daughter "From now on Anck, you will see to all of Nefertari's regular duties, as training for becoming heir." Morrigan noticed her daughter was about to say something however morrigan silenced her. "this is not up for debate." Morrigan watched her daughter carefully.
Anck was surprisingly taken back. She hadn't considered even the possibility though she was second born. her other sisters who wanted the job, surely not one of them? before Anck could open her mouth to say anything she was silenced by Morrigan. Anck herself couldn't help but feel surprisingly pleased. She'd thought she'd been. she hadn't made any moves to show she'd wanted the position either, perhaps that was why.
"Yes Mother, It is an honor great General I hope I will live up to the expectations of both you and the Pharaoh ."
"Let them in" Morrigan beckoned to the servants, the meeting with the divinity had been waiting for. Morrigan strode past Anck "See that you do." she told her daughter as she left.

"You're Pharaoh now." Morrigan spoke loudly without so much as a glance behind her. Morrigan never had any love for Neferati their union had been one of power. With Neferatri gone The power vacuum could destroy the herd. Therefore
With much of his tools carefully stowed the feline stood outside the door until it was opened for him as he had been instructed. Ramla was going to be there shortly but Minkah was to prep for her arrival. As the Door opened Minkah bowed to the general and stepped aside still bowed letting her pass before entering the room. The Servants closed the door behind the feline stallion. Minkah raised his head only to see where he was going so that he might approach new Pharaoh. "Divine one." he bowed low as he stood before her. "Allow me to help you into your ascension High Priestess Rama will be here shortly."
Anck's gaze followed her other mother as she left. But a weight was set upon her by her mother's last words. What did that mean for the future? She would be the one to decide this. Morrigan was now no longer the Queen's consort and General she was now just the General along with being Anck's mother.
Anck Stood tall in front of the servants and Minkah. "I am ready, you may begin Priest." she said as the stallion began his work of preparing her body for the coming ceremonies.

Ka-Set however watched from the other side of the door when Anck entered, there could only be one thing they were discussing. Anck inheritance of the herd and ascension to pharaoh. The stallion growled quietly. Of course his mother would pick one of her eldest daughters this herd was run by them. He however was the god in form how could his mother miss that?! The stallion pacdd a bit back and forth. There was nothing he could do right now, but there had to be something...
Ka-Set stood at attention as the feline priest approached. Morrigan had told him that Minkah was coming. Both stallions waited outside more Morrigan's call. Call she did, Ka-set opened the doors for the priest. Minkah entered and approached his elder sister. his warrior mother Stepped out and headed back to her quarters telling his sister she was now the pharaoh. It should have been him though. Though he was one of the youngest and Male. But he was a god! Constrained to mummified flesh. Not that he made his distaste outwardly known. His mother wouldn't have it while she favored all her daughters.

Anck allowed Minkah to begin taking her measurements for her new regalia. She would be Shown before the herd when it was finished and she had finished all the proper ceremonies. The herd itself had an infinite amount of ceremonies to go through. She had studied them all, as she was supposed to not expecting to be the one to lead. She was to be her siblings shadows at least that's how it was At first it was Amunet, and then Ai, but they had both become disinterested. Nekhbet too who sought the throne seemed absent.
So the shadow of the light became light itself. Ramla would come soon to help her learn in more detail what she was to do for the ceremonies.
"I have finished Princess." The Priest said rolling up his paprys scrolls.
The High priestess of Bast approached the door. She gave a nod to Ka-Set as she passed through. She saw Minkah was about finished. Of course her brother made sort work of such things. "Princess, No, Pharaoh." She bowed correcting herself the daughter of the current leader and her consort would become the new leader. There was many rituals to begin. "High priest." Minkah greeted her brother as he started to leave
"High Priestess." Her brother bowed as he finished taking the measurements. He gave Anck another bow "I take my leave to begin preparation." he said as began to leave with the scrolls. The princess to be Pharaoh was in good hands as always with his sister.
Ka-Set watched the high priest leave as he approached the doors and entered "My sister I wish you the most sincerest congratulations." though he was being anything but sincere. But he was not foolish enough to take out his own sister. That would be the height of foolishness however, There was always other ways of proving superiority. He had his own plans that did not result in de stabilizing the herd.
