Lloyd and Phoenix arrived at the tree of life, right on the edge of the tree it self. Lloyd choose this location as it would be the least likely place for them to be met by any of the ninja clans warriors which was probably best considering that Alison wasn't with them at the time. Lloyd dropped to one knee and breathes heavily, his left hand injured by Trents attack. Trents energy surged through his body like a poison and if not for his soul release ability he would of surely died. It was a risky maneuver on his part but what choice did he have at the time?He then spoke to Phoenix seemingly out of breath.
"are.....are you...alright?"
Blood dripping from his left hand and the self inflicted wound on his right hand was already beginning to heal.He then sat on the floor and looked up at the tree.
"This...is..........where it all began............s...so....many years ago.......but it .......it ...feels like only yesterday. "
He then closed his eyes as if he were remembering something and a smile could be seen on his face.
"Only now ....do i ....question ......my reasons for ..........for......all that i did.........was it really worth all the blood shed?..............i was such a fool"

*Phoenix steps forward blinking in memory before holding up one hand, her fingers glowing golden and she reaches out towards Lloyd. Healing energy begins to flow into him as she acts on instinct and a distant memory*
This is all so familiar...the fighting, the fear but the hope....this place is different but it feels like....home...

*Alison arrives about an hour after them by motorcycle she walks up to Phoenix and lloyd*
"Welcome to heavens landing Phoenix this is my home and was once the home of Trent sealed and protected by the surrounding mountains and pure barrier we were only recently discovered by the rest of the world so I have had to become more involved with politics as the grandmaster"
*Alison snaps her fingers and hundreds of ninjas reveal themselves*
"This is the vanguard they have been here the whole time your senses are not as sharp as they use to be lloyd if you couldn't sense them"
*she makes a hands sign and the ninjas banish into the wilderness*
"It is the secrecy of heavens landing that gives it its strength to negotiate with other bodies of power no one knows our strength so they don't challenge it"

Lloyd feels Phoenix's healing energy as it courses through his body. A warmth that he never thought he would feel again. He smiled as he thought to him self.
"I have missed this, this warmth."
Lloyd then stood up and began flexing his fingers feeling much better now. his strength had returned. He turned to Phoenix still smiling as he spoke.
"Thank you Phoenix, glad to see that not all your memories have faded completely "
After about an Hour Alison arrived. Lloyd offered her a friendly wave. He listened to her introduction and upon seeing the ninjas he was in shock that so many of them were there. As they vanished once more into the shadows Lloyd spoke.
"i didn't even notice them, i must not be able to sense energies anymore...how strange. Or maybe "
He said as he looked back at the tree, his eyes could see the many soul floating around it like several blue lights.
"The souls that surround this tree give off a powerful energy, it is pure and they seem at peace and content with being here, maybe i did not sense them due to this fact. I can't say for sure."
He then returned his attention to Alison his face seeming a bit more serious.
"Alison. You mean to kill Trent, am i right? if so i will not stop you or get in your way, i'll assist you as best i can . Though i must admit i do not wish for him to die "

*Alison closes her eyes as she responds to lloyd*
"Trent isn't evil so I don't want to kill him either but he has committed atrocities that he must be held responsible for"
*Alison walks over to the barrier that surrounds the tree of life remembering her trials and how the barrier was the first one she had to over come*
"I don't know if you know this lloyd but heavens landing is the most peaceful place on the planet and that is solely because of the souls who reside here. Also heavens landing has a very ancient connection to the grim angels that only myself and a few other grandmasters before me know"
*Alison makes a hands sign and a hole opens in the barrier toward the tree of life as she motions for them to enter*
"This connection with the grim angels I will reveal to you all as I fight with Trent I will not kill him but I will seal him here in this tree for all eternity"

As the barrier opens up, David approaches the group from behind. Slowing as he got closer. The sword on his back began to whisper quietly with each inch.
" Lloyd, Alison..."
David spoke simply to the two of them. His eyes stayed on Lloyd for a few moments longer than was appropriate however David never hid his feelings of disdain for Lloyd. After a moment he finally glanced at Phoenix. Shame washed over him as he did. He swallowed hard before he spoke to her.
"Hello Phoenix." He said not making eye contact. Instead he stepped ahead of everyone anxiously.
"Let's get this over with."

*Watching him carefully Phoenix steps forward with a smile and put her hand on his arm*
Hello, David. Thank you, for helping me when I needed it the most. I knew I could trust you.
*She turns to Alison then, her smile fading slightly*
This place is truly beautiful, Alison, I can see why this is called Heaven's Landing. I felt no intention of your followers to attack or nearly that they would not without your command. Onto the matters at hand. Trent isn't the only problem anymore. Nor his soldiers. Hikura has joined him as well. She clearly has shown that she is willing to take us out, or at least me, to forward his plans.
*Phoenix frowns in thought, not realizing with the return of some of her memories her habit of speaking telepathically only had returned as well*

Lloyd was about to make his way inside of the tree when just then David appeared. Lloyd turned to great him after he heard him acknowledge his presence but as he turned around his eyes made contact with the sword on his back and suddenly his eyes went dull and blank and his stare was empty as if he were starring right past David and only looking at the sword. as David walked past, Lloyd's eyes continued to follow the sword as if he were in a trance.
"That sword...did it just whisper to me? it wants to destroy me.....i want to destroy it....we want to destroy each other......we are the same.....we are also different...."
Lloyd thought to him self as he continued to stare at the sword, that was until David said "Let's get this over with." and suddenly he seemed to snap out of what ever trance he was in. He placed his left hand on his forehead as if he had a headache, but soon he removed his hand from his head and looked to Phoenix.
"Shall we Phoenix?"
He said offering her his right hand in a gentleman like manner.He acted as if he had heard nothing she had said at all but that was perhaps due to his encounter with the sword. Alison's words were also intriguing to him.
"The most peaceful place on the planet...but yet a connection to the Grim Angels. Why do i feel a sense of safety and also one of dread. Don't tell me that this tree is...."
Lloyd thought to him self as he awaited a response from Phoenix.

*as everyone passes through the barrier it closes behind them and they begin walking to the bass of the tree*
"This tree is the final training ground for the ninja who obtain the title of grandmaster and take over as ruler of heavens landing it was my father before me and his father our family has protected heavens landing for generations and have helped in the training of new ninja"
*as they continue to walk ghostly balls swirl around Alison which are actually souls*
"You are all the first outsiders to ever step into this land we in heavens landing regard as sacred the souls of all our past warriors never go on to the after life they come here to the tree of life"
*they arrive at the bass of the tree which is much larger up close the trunk is the size of a football stadium alison stops walking and turns to face them*
"It saddens me really Trent never advanced far enough in his training to see this paradise yet this is where he must perish you all I must do this alone as grandmaster it is my duty but I have a favor to ask of you all"

What do you need from us...? You're already asking a lot for us to stay out of it.

"To be perfectly honest I have never fought Trent to kill him before and I know that if I stand any chance of winning that is what I must do but...........even using every technique I have at my disposal I don't know if I will be able to end him here so i ask of all of you if I fall do not allow Trent to leave the tree of life alive"
*she opens her eyes and the souls of the dark eyes attack swirl around in her pupils a deadly serious look on her face*
"If he dies here his soul will remain here and hopefully be purified his strength will also ensure the barrier around heavens landing continues to stand the safety of this land is more important to me then either of our lives and this is why I have decided to fight him here"

Lloyd looks to Alison and calmly speaks to her, Phoenix still on his arm .
" your're assuming his soul is corrupted. It looked pretty normal to me in the jail. I honestly think he truly believes that what he is doing is right. "
Lloyd then looked up at all the souls within the tree and smiled. They were indeed happy and there was enough of them to definitely seal Trent for a while, if not indefinitely.
"if it comes to that task of fighting Trent our selves if you should fail then i'm sure i could carry out the task of completing a seal with the souls here, after all they are willing."
Lloyd then offered her a thumbs up and a smile.
"Don't die on us, or i'll drag you out of the void my self."

David considered Alison's words deeply. He ran his hand over the hilt of the blade on his back, then locked eyes with Alison and nodded in compliance with her request.
The whispers of the sword grew stronger as he stood near Lloyd. David looked in Lloyd's direction as he smiled at Alison.
"we will do what is necessary."

*Alison nods as they are all in agreement she then weaves a few hand signs and the bass of the Tree opens to reveal a hollow inner they all enter and the trunk closes behind them*
"Now to set the stage for our fight"
*Inside the Tree of life it is pitch black but soon souls begin to glow illuminating the entire tree and a bright light engulfs everyone as it dies down you see many branches as they all were transported into the canopy of the tree of life everyone except Alison is safely standing in the branches while Alison is seen standing toward the center on a platform that looks like a large circular battle ground*
"Trent will be here soon I will temporarily release the barrier you all sit tight and be prepared"
*The souls of the dark eyes attack are still present in her eyes and you see millions of souls gathered around the tree of life Alison weaves 10 signs in quick succession and the Barrier around the tree of life fades but only slightly*
"This will make it so his GA corp soldiers can't enter"
