Cythraul Crew
"It be a good day ta die." Cythraul greeted his long time friend Sabia as he came up beside her. Taking care to mind Captain Floki and his glare in his general direction. It wasn't like he didn't know that the Captain disliked the pirate but the dark winged male didn't give two hoots if he did. "'Ow ye been thar." His children coming up now, his lovely bird upon Solfrid's back. "Brought me kids fer this one."

The pair of adolescents were somewhat bickering as they were coming up towards their father and Sabia, looking at the Captain every so often but mostly on Sabia. They had heard stories of her and some stories from their father. The skull she wore was pretty chilling and truth be told, the little pirate Vikings were actually somewhat scared of her. They were also making bets that Sabia could beat their father in a duel as well. Branderyn was doing her best to quiet them but was as well betting against her friend.

Sabia'Deimos
The crimson lioness had previously met the young Cythraul during her early days among the Vikings along side the blue lioness she'd come to adore. Times had changed and all of those young adults were becoming parents and on up in the world. "Indeed." She said, a half grin tugged at her lips briefly as the familiar, thick accented tune played to her ears. She took a moment to return the glare sent their way from Floki - Sabia hated the lion. Her hate was fairly shallow though and had she had to explain she'd have simply shrugged. "I've been fairly well, it seems you've kept yourself pretty busy." Her golden eyes left the lion to spy the pair of adolescents he pointed too (verbally).

"My my.. where have you been hiding this pair of fresh faces?" SHe queried Cythraul as she took a moment to truly admire the pair. "Branderyn, it's nice to see you again." Sabia spoke and rolled her shoulders a touch, adjusting the pelt upon her back - it typically reminded her of battles left unfought, but one problem at a time. "Will this be your first time?" She looked to Cythraul quickly, then to the pair of adolescents before gaining the feeling of being watched - it seemed their Captain wasn't appreciating the time spent on pleasantries. "Stuff it, Floki." The crimson lioness said, a snarky tone replacing the cheery one she'd shared with Cythraul and his family.

"Coming?" She looked to the group, including a couple of other members. "It seems dear Floki is time sensitive." She sneered in the general direction of the irked Captain.

"Nay." The adolescents chimed together. "We already be Reavers. Da took us out before but 'e said 'e 'ad gotten ye ta join aviking wif 'im." Solfrid admiring the female. Unlike her normal jealousy she had of any female around her she was more in awe of the red lioness. Of all the lioness she could have the pleasure of meeting that her father spoke of, she was overjoyed that Sabia had been the first. Though the Captain they ran with was starting to irritate her, no wonder her father disliked him. Then again it seemed the rest of the group did as well. Many of these lions she had seen before in war bands with her father as well, as if they followed him from Viking to Viking.

"Aye." Cythraul clicked his tongue at the kids and followed the Captain. Most of the other lions and lioness who were there stuck more towards Cythraul and Sabia than Floki.

Though Floki snapped at the band, "Who's the Captain here?" to which a sort of sad reply of 'you' was heard through the group, "Then stop following that sack of meat and follow me." He snarled.

A curl of his lips Cythraul stopped himself from any remarks despite very much wanting to sink tooth and claw into him. "I be 'oping everythin' be goin' well with Zjarri." Wondering if she made Captain already. Probably, that lioness was determined.

Sabia'Deimos
"Good, good." She said to the pair of proud lions - proud as they should be, becoming Reavers was the first step to doing many things with their futures. Especially the female, she prided herself on knowing females that would rather be out and reaving then being an at home salt wife. The idea made her wrinkle her nose and quickly she cleared away that look of sheer disgust in exchange for a much simpler 'meh' expression. The movement of the group seemed to be based upon her and Cythraul - she couldn't ignore that, gears had already begun to turn in her mind and she mentally prepared a plan for their trip. "I'd like to point out that we are all headed the same direction." The crimson lioness rolled her eyes behind the mask at their dear Captain.

This was cause for an extravagent display by the Captain, he whipped about quickly and approached the lioness with what appeared to be confidence at first, which quickly turned into mere attempt at such a feeling. "Dare to mock me again, lioness." Sabia could only snicker, but chose to leave the situation alone - which seemed to satisfy the lion enough to turn away from her again. Sabia, sensing the excitement in the young female adolescent of Cythrauls chose to speak with her, leaning in close to mock the Captain again. "We ought to take him down a peg or two, don't you think?" She queried the youth. Often times her offhanded comments were ignored, but most times they were said as a joke - this was no joking matter to her, she was genuinely offended that such a lion had made it into a position that he clearly didn't deserve. Chances were that at one time he had been something of significance, but that part of him ceased to exist.

"Yes, Zjarri wasted little time in becoming Captain." She smiled fondly at the memory. "That Captain is long gone." The smile she wore turned fiercely dark and her eyes seemed to gleam with malice - the rumors hadn't spread far enough to reach all ears, but she was satisfied knowing what she had done to help the blue lioness, she didn't need the recognition elsewhere.

Cythraul Crew
The dark male held onto the growl that had begun to form in his throat. He wanted to hurt this male so badly, cause a mutiny but he wasn't exactly sure that sort of thing was okay within the Vikings. He also wouldn't really want to kill the male himself, not that he wasn't okay with getting blood on his paws that wouldn't bring those to his side. Hearing Sabia ask Solfrid about knocking down the Captain a peg he gave a small hmph of agreement. He could see that Agnar also wanted to knock this Captain down a few notches, maybe on his rump.

"Aye." The female nodded, a glimmer in her eye. That would be absolute fun to toy with this Captain and bring him off his high horse. "What ye go' in mind?" Questioned Solfrid, her brother now leaning in, "Iffin' I be o' 'elp let me know." Whispering so that no one but the four of them could hear the conversation.

The way Sabia had mentioned a previous Captain made Cythraul think a little. He had heard rumors but part of him wanted confirmation, "What really 'appened Sabia?" Queried the male.

This time the Captain stopped and turned towards the small group of them and a hush seemed to overcome the group. Though Cythraul and his children looked defiant and strong when Captain Floki came up to them. It was the swipe at Cythraul that caused more of the stir. "You pirate. Think you're one of us now. Letting in scum like you tarnish the name of the Stormborn. Should be a thrall." The male growled, another paw ready to possibly strike at the ex-pirate instead of just scaring him.

Sabia'Deimos
The crimson lioness followed the Captain with golden eyes that would have struck fear into the hearts of most mortal men. She was growing distant internally, which she discovered helped in a cold blooded murder. Sabia`deimos was so focused on the lion that she barely heard the chatter surrounding her, barely even noticed that the adolescent had responded, let alone her brother or father - she'd entered something akin to a trance.

"Nah, nah - you'll have your chances, I promise you that.' Her eyes barely flicked towards the adolescent to address both brother and sister. However, when she truly heard the question from their father she graced him with a side smile and those piercing eyes. "Cythraul, a lioness never kills and tells." The smile turned into a wicked grin that grew into a fairly deep frown when she was reminded of why the talk had even come up.

Her eyes narrowed at the Captain as he approached, the fickle being didn't even address her - causing an uproar internally that externally didn't show in the slightest - Sabia was tensed though. Her ears flicked forward, causing the bone mask to shift ever so slightly on her face, but not enough to cause any form of distraction from the situation at paw. "Floki.." She purred at him, swallowing the rage that pounded in her chest to be free. Charm would be her best bet - the lion that had moved forward at the pirate seemed to need a little destressing - she was very aware of the eyes on her, but nonetheless a job needed to be done.

"Captain Floki.." The lioness purred his title and she batted her eyelashes ever so slightly in his direction. She watched, witnessed the lion relax a slight amount, still weary of her actions, but it got him to drop his paw before striking out. "It seems as though you need to relax before go, care to join me?" Sabia`deimos placed herself between Floki and Cythraul, purposefully - should her actions not change a thing she'd sooner have herself attacked then the lion she was running with. Fortunately it seemed her charm was enough.

This would be a lesson for the young female adolescent, flaunt what you've got.

"This way." She said softly, leading the Captain from his crew - she paced herself, allowing for the family to follow if they so choose. She didn't anticipate her actions to good much further then the purring already displayed. "Here, Captain - seat yourself." She'd preplanned this meeting place. There was very little cover, enough to make Floki assume he was protected, especially with a crew just around the corner - she didn't need the crew to help her, this was a task best left to a lioness - so to speak. "Are you comfortable?" She asked, aware that he appeared slightly nervous, nothing that bothered her though. Yet, he nodded.

"Close your eyes." She whispered.

Then her own golden eyes glimpsed the direction she had come to see if anyone was following, she wasn't sure who'd have taken interest, but felt sure that at least the family would have followed.

Kill and tell. Seemed he had been right about he whole thing. At least he knew who he was running with and that made him feel all the more better about it. Having asked her to come along had been the right choice. He had seen how ready his two children had been, how their jaws had locked and tightened at the Captain who tried to swipe at their father. They had just ever so slightly growled at the opposing male. Everyone seemed to watch Sabia'Deimos turn the Captain away from the ex-pirate.

"Stay 'ere." The male gave the order to everyone, of course except Sabia. He could feel the almost mutiny starting up. Hear the grumbles of the other lions and lioness who were annoyed by the actions of the Captain. Also a few of them who were confused by Cythraul being an ex-pirate, though it seemed they didn't care since he had been accepted. "But father." The pair whined in unison. The glare was enough to keep them from continuing on with whatever they were about to say or do.

He followed after the red female. Du Serpentis didn't want to waste a moment in seeing what might happen to the dear old Captain.

Sabia'Deimos
The Captain was thoroughly distracted by the mystery of the situation, so much so that he wasn't aware of the presence of male that had approached. Sabia`deimos, however, was watching the other with a beam of pride in her eyes - this was what she lived for and would likely die for. Ah well, every day was a good day to die. The lioness almost snickered at her own thoughts, but kept focused on her task at hand. Golden eyes left the male positioned nearby and returned to the Captain she had at her mercy. Leaning closer to him she walked around his seated self with a slow, purposeful pace. One that only slowed further when she decided to reveal a claw and trace it slowly over his shoulders first, then foreleg and eventually ceased. A cooing sound could be heard from Floki.

"Temptress, what do you plan to do?" His voice was deep, breathy already and full of desire.

"Captain..." She whispered, taking a position behind him, allowing him to recognize her presence and enjoy it briefly. Men were foolish for women, men that didn't know loyalty if it hit them on the head especially - if they weren't prepared this situation could be an eventuality for most. "I plan to do many things with you." Her words were meant for his ears, a whisper. But her golden eyes left the male she was bringing into temptation to instead stare at Cythraul. A grin broke her lips in such a way to suggest a loss of sanity, but she still remained calm - a unique type of insanity rippled through her body, the whole scenario made her shiver in a way that suggested to her prisoner that she was indeed enjoying herself.

Still locking golden eyes with Cythraul she grew silent and slowly brought a paw up to just in front of the Captains face. She left it there, hanging in suspention while she dragged her other paw up the shoulder of the Captain. Sabia shuddered as he shrank a little bit, perhaps her claws were to much? Again, she nearly snickered. The silence was beginning to concern the Captain though and as she stopped for a moment to long the situation became a little more tough, but nothing she couldn't handle - the series of events went like this.

"What the he--..?!"

The Captains eyes burst open to reveal a paw full of claws before his very face, Sabia immediately felt the lione in her trance begin to realize what might be happening, but she'd experienced this before. Her paw, cleverly dragged up his foreleg was placed firmly on his shoulder and simultaneously she brought her other paw down on his neck and applied a sufficient amount of pressure (and claws) then sliced. Effectively she sliced his throat opened, severing a major artery in doing so which showered the scene with an extraordinary amount of blood. All the while her golden eyes remained on Cythraul.

When the deed was done she didn't bother with much, dropping the body as if it were nothing and then smiled to Cythraul warmly. "Shall we tell them the good news, it seems the Captain has perished." She stretched her claws in the dirt, creating a small amount of mud beneath her nail - still she cared very little.

Cythraul Crew
Cythraul had watched the whole thing with anticipation. Glad at least that no one else would have seen the scenario unfold. There had never been a very bloody mutiny amongst the pirates that he could ever remember but there were times that bloodshed was nigh within the crews, all of which was resolved mostly peacefully. The male was accustomed to bloodshed however, and he had felt himself shudder... not because of fear but out of pure joy for this sort of dark and twisted thing. He couldn't have torn his silvered eyes away even if he had wanted to. To hear Floki speak as if something good were coming his way had made him giddy with delight, the child like grin upon his face waiting for the moment.

Then when she had begun and the now dead Captain had finally noticed the deceit he almost wept with joy. Of course all he did was get up closer to the male, his silver eyes regarding him dully. "I 'ated dis male. Aye. Ta bad 'e's dead e' Sabia?" The male chuckled not feeling any sort of remorse for what had gone down. What a perfect ending too, there was a glorious ledge even. As he dragged the male, with ease even, to the edge he pushed him, but not before raking his own claws on the other. "Didnae need a Captain who cannae keep 'is own warband in check and didnae care." Spitting down upon the carcass below. "Thank ye Sabia." Bowing his head to the other before heading back to the war band.

"Aye, me war mates. Seems our good Captain took a spill, tryin' ta spy some o' da 'erd. I say we be continuin' on iffin ye like. Catch us some prey beasts out thar, and grabbin' us sum booty ta bring back. Share it amongst ye lads and lasses. We didnae sow." Many cheers from the crowd, "Who ye want leadin' dis 'ere band of micreants?" Several cheers this time from the war band for Cythraul's name, "Aye. I be likin' da sound of dat." Captain Cythraul. It had a nice ring to it. Better than First Mate Cythraul did. Better even then Reaver Cythraul.

Sabia'Deimos
It seemed the joy was something the pair had in common, good. Sabia wasn't a touch nervous about completing the task, but she never knew who'd be the first to give something away - Cythraul had proven himself to her and that made the lioness' wicked grin become fond and warm. This was truly how she established relationships, special ones at least.

Then she sat back and watched the scene complete itself, the new Captain Cythraul was taking his rightful place ahead of the group - always a Reaver never a Captain, just how Sabia enjoyed her life. It was much more simple, she had watched Zjarri`fol take the reigns and now Cy. Who knew what the future would hold for the lion, especially as the previous Captain plummeted down the cliffside and into the depths of the waters.

"You're welcome Cythraul. How about we get this really started now?" She smiled, giving an approving look to the faces of the lions cheering for the new Captain - blood soaked her, but she didn't think much of it, nor would most of the lions before them.

It was a good day to die.
