[PRP] Fancy a Dip? (Dr'stan & Alumet)

With time to himself for a moment this day, Dr'stan and flown Ddraigth down to the weyr lake. The bronze was in need of his bath and he enjoyed taking it in open water. There were times he would beg his rider for a quick jaunt south but there was no time for that. Ddraigth was already in the water, acting like a young hatching as he moved through, splashing some, causing the water to splash up and soak Dr'stan. When the rider gave the dragon a look he instantly rebutted.

You were going to have to get wet anyway. "While that is true, I would have rather not had my clothes get completely soaked." Dr'stan sighed easily slipped his shirt off over his head. Ddraigth went back to lounging in the water as Dr'stan continued to get ready. Having sat down on a nearby rock, he easily removed his shoes and placed them beside shirt before standing up. "Alright bud, ready?" Ddraigth turned his head to look at his rider before stretching his wing out.

Dr'stan moved over and waded into the water, rag and soap in hand as he started to clean the bronze's wing first.

She'd been heading down to enjoy the lake, to take some time to herself now that candidate chores were done. However, the sound of a dragon had her pausing a fair way back. It took until the voice of a rider met her ears that she bothered to go down to watch, noting very quickly a....lovely...lovely back. God, he was strong, as most riders were....and the way his muscles moved as he cleaned the beautiful bronze's wing. How could she do anything but stare when he was just so CLEARLY working himself? Mm. A tiny smile flicked her lips and she made her way in, letting her legs fold as she got to cleaning. After all, wasn't half the fun pretending like she was just an innocent thing who was...maybe...staring at the man before her.

Well, at least he was pretty, "...You have a LOVELY dragon~."

You have an admirer, mine. Ddraigth's words were filled with amusement as they reached Dr'stan's mind and the man paused in what he was doing. It was easy for him to become engrossed in a task, making sure that his bronze got cleaned was one of them. He also found it easy to forget other people could be moving around, or he just didn't seem to care about them or where they were going either. It was one of the reasons he hadn't noticed the other body who was near the lake. An admirer? He felt the laughter from Ddraigth in his mind and he paused some, his eyes narrowing as well. Yes, a lovely young woman seems to have an eye on you.

Right after Ddraigth's words a new voice spoke to Dr'stan and he turned his head to see the young woman who Ddraigth had been referring too. Her words made him blush and he forced himself to hide it, especially as he stood there and Ddraigth turned around to look at the girl. A deep purr thrummed in the bronze's throat, he was pleased by her words and amused by her actions as well. "Ah. T-thank you." Dr'stan wasn't used to these kind of interactions, especially as he saw that she was a candidate. Though he had to admit, she was very pretty.

The dragon seemed amused, at least if the purring rumble was anything to go by. Her eyes turned to the bronze for a moment, her fingers tapping against the surface beneath her. Howe entertaining to watch a man flush and stumble over his words. Oh, was he upset by her status as a candidate? How cute was that? Slowly, her fingers moved to brush through some dirt, before she let her eyes drift from Ddraigth to Dr'stan, "Well, how could I say anything but. Such a powerful, lovely bronze. It almost made her jealous, but honestly, most of why she was here was the man.

He was intriguing in his own right, "You're welcome. My name's Alumet...I'm one of the candidates here, obviously. Now WHO are you and this lovely lad of yours?"
