Evren's sunset hair bobbed as she carried her cat Regi on her shoulder through the park. Spring was in full effect and even though it was late the sun wasn't ready to go down just yet. With a flick of his tail the British short hair jumped off her shoulder and ran off into the bushes. "Where do you think you're doing mister?!" Puffing her checks in frustration she ran over and looked over until she found some movement. "Gotcha!" She reached down quickly and pulled up a cat... only to find it wasn't the cat she was looking for. "...You're not Regi."

"Would you kindly get your ********' hands off my ********' a** please." Faust need not look back to know that someone wrenched him from the bushes in the same indignant, disrespectful manner as all humans with tiny, brainless animals. But Faust was no tiny, brainless animal - he was a majestic beast of fury and grace who was working his way into a bird's nest before someone just shut him down for a case of mistaken identity.
So Faust wriggled and squirmed and liquefied his way out of the offending grasp, then landed on the nearby sidewalk pertly. He snorted, his whole body forcing the air from his lungs. Don't you ever use your damn eyes when you're lookin for your cat? Unless your a** is colorblind, you ain't got an excuse with me. As much as Faust wanted to voice such thoughts, he couldn't rightly get away with it - this human may well just be a civilian, or even a Negaverse agent. Speaking with his back to them was only useful for the disbelief it spread; any more than that and he could get himself into deep s**t.

Evren was quite shocked when the cat had squirmed out of her grasp and plopped right onto the ground. Tilting her head she noticed that the she saw the cat had something around his neck. "Oh are you lost?" Quickly crouching down and putting her bag on the ground, she reached in and pulled out a cat of cat food. “You hungry handsome?” She pulled open the can without any struggle and put it down in front of her. She turned around when she heard a rustling in her bag. Regi had managed to get into her bag. “Oh there you are mister… what’s up with you today?” Pulling the cat into her arms she noticed he had dragged a couple of her things out with him, henshin pen included.

Faust faced her down with catly indignation prominent in his features. He sized her up with the best stare he could possibly muster, and when the canned cat food came out for him, he only stared harder. Did he look ill-fed to her? Did he look like he needed some of that weird canned slop they serve to the normal cats?
No. Hell no.
Hell no.
I ain't eating that trash. If it ain't fit for human consumption, it ain't fit for my consumption. Faust watched the other cat respond with a little more interest than he, and it climbed into her bag with no great struggle. Maybe she made a habit outta collecting cats, but Faust wasn't about to be collected by someone who spent fifty cents on a cat meal - not when Quenton shelled out for the good s**t on the daily. Now that was a man who deserved some cat respect. This b***h, tho—
Faust froze at the clatter of the pen, lying out in the open like a discarded toy. A henshin pen? Sheeit, she's actually got the power. "Yo, lissen." His gruff cat voice commanded attention in how he carried himself. "Put that s**t away for a sec. You're a senshi, right? What're you the senshi of? Tell me your sphere ain't that weirdo patty o' mystery meat you got there."

Holding Regi underneath his front legs she subconsciously answered without thinking. "Eh? No I'm the senshi of portals..." She then blinked and looked over smiling as she realized it was the cat she just met who spoke. "Is there really a senshi of mystery meat?" That sounds interesting.... what kind of powers would that be like?

"Hell if I know. Prolly. Ain't met 'em, though. Don't want to. That s**t tastes like trash." Faust snorted, his gruff demeanor traveling well with his words. The cat took a seat on the sidewalk nearest the bush and cast a quick glance about them — onlookers remained everywhere. They couldn't speak on matters of senshidom here without someone eventually coming too close for comfort.
"Yo, follow me. We can't talk about this s**t here." Faust dashed into the bush once more, then popped out on the opposite end in the surrounding gravel. He then darted toward the narrow alley between a coffee shop and a boutique store, where cars seldom came and went, and skirted one of the industrial dumpsters that waited for pickup. Faust hesitated only a moment in clearing the alley for proper conversation before he dropped to a seated position once more. If he wanted to talk to the senshi of portals, and she wanted to talk to him, then they needed that extra space between themselves and the rest of the spying world to talk shop.

Puckering her lips out she brushed her hair over her ear. What a potty mouth this kitty had. "Is that so? Sounds kind of interesting to me..." She perked up when the cat got up. "Ah!" With a quick gesture she motioned Regi into her bag and got up to follow the scraggly cat. She followed quickly after him... being sure to look both ways every time they ended up crossing the street. Evren looked around blinking in the alleyway she ended up in and took a deep breath out of her mouth. "You sure are fast Mr. Kitty." She then moved her bag so that her cat's head was just underneath her chin looking as grumpy as ever. "So... what do you want to talk about?"

"Damn straight I'm fast. Fastest Mauvian of his kind." Faust puffed his chest out proudly, entirely oblivious of his circular speech. "An' I'm damn good at my job, too.
"But that's enough about me. I wanna talk about you. Specifically, your senshi side. Power up, show me what you got. With the Negaverse damn near everywhere, we can't afford to be sittin' on our asses or runnin' around with our dumbass cat cousins." Faust knew he was, at one time, no different than Regi. He remembered Quenton teasing him over much of those times - how he hid under the bed when he first arrived at Quenton's apartment, or how he took to Quenton's pillow like a welcome bed made specifically for him. But their meeting afforded him no space to reminisce; Faust needed to focus on the senshi of portals and evaluate her for her potential.
But he needed her to power up first, and he needed to make sure she was safe in doing so. Already he secured a quiet place away from the general populace, but what of Negaverse agents and their youma? Briefly Faust enacted a mental scan of the area, searching for stray auric energies. He detected only a single page in the far distance, which left the pair to converse at their own accord.
"Ain't no one around to see you or feel you. C'mon, Portals, show me whatchu got."

Evren laughed gently at the proudly puffed cat. Only to blink in confusion. "Cat's aren't dumb?" Blinking she moved to put the bag down on the ground as Regi retreated back inside of it. When she reached down to grab her henshin pen the cat popped back out with the orange and red item in his mouth. Evren scruffed his head and he dropped it into her free hand. The british blue hair then jumped out and explored the alleyway. "Well I'm not really used to transforming for no reason but... Ananke Power Make UP!" With a flick of the pen her civilian clothes faded away and her senshi uniform that was cream and red took its place. Ananke blinked and brought her gloved hand to cup her face. "I'm not sure exactly what you want me to show you though..."
