She had finally decided it was time, she was comfortable with the idea, and she had spoken to Kallichore the night before. She was comfortable enough to bring the other to her home world - to Nephthys.
After telling Kallichore she had spent the night up packing flashlights and water bottles into a bag. She knew it was dark at her homeworld, at least from what little she knew, so flashlights would be needed in order to see better. Water to drink and incase they got dirty or anything else. Bandages, incase they tripped or anything, were packed into the small backpack as well and left by her bedroom door.
Now that bag, a day later, was slung over one of the super senshi's shoulders as she stood a ways from her home with Kallichore. Food was also tucked into the backpack now and a few other odds and ends which she figured might come in handy, she really didn't know. She hadn't spent much time at her home world the last time she'd gone. This time she wasn't going alone so she'd spend more time here - or so she hoped.
"Ready?" Shifting her weight from foot to food, nervous over it.

Christa had appreciated just how much time and preparation went into the trip to Nephthys. She remembered her own apprehension years ago when it came time to visit her moon. As the senshi of madness, one could only guess what horrors might have been lurking just below the surface. She was shocked, and pleasantly surprised, to find her moon seemed to be fairly docile as far as homeworlds were concerned. She'd heard stories of wrathful worlds, places still full of predatory life that would not hesitate to catch and devour anything it came into contact with. Standing outside the mansion with Nephthys, backpack full of supplies at the ready, Kallichore cast her gaze skyward. What would they find on the world of vampires? Her curiosity was piqued. "Ready whenever you are, Nephthys." If anything decided to attack them, it would have to deal with a Super and Eternal Senshi. In an effort to ease some of Nephthys' obvious anxiety, Kallichore attempted to make a joke. "Should... we go back into the kitchen for some garlic before we leave?"

"No...don't think we need it. I don't think anything living, aside from plant life, is there." She wasn't even sure of that to be honest. She just knew that nothing alive was there, she sort of just...felt it and knew it. Didn't make where she'd been any less creepy though.
Grasping onto the other she took out her senshi phone and went for the home button while focusing in on her own homeworld, on that connection she had to it. To avoid seeing, if there was anything to see, the change in location she closed her eyes.
When they arrived she knew it, the stale air was hard to miss. It was heavy and not fresh at all. The entryway was large and the lighting dim as some light seemed to filter in from a large glass window above and behind them. The staircase in front stairs, a doorway off to the left that lead into some room, while to the right was another doorway leading to another unknown room. Right ahead of them, aside from the stairs, was a large fountain with a big basin for water. No water fell from the top, no water was inside the basin. This time, unlike last time, she noted the possible remains of flower petals...or something earthly?
The same winged creature, unknown still, stood atop the fountain looking upward perhaps at something. The creature still looked...sort of cute. Like a cat but with bat like ears and a fluffy tail ending in a devil like point. The wings on the cat were demonic in nature rather than the feather sort of angelic wings. Standing on it's back legs one paw reaching up for whatever it might be seeing while the other was pulled in close to it's fluffy chest, the details were amazing really. You could tell it was a fluffy creature, whatever it was called. She had remembered that from her first, and only, visit and even now was wondering what it was...had it been something real or was it a mythical creature? Something that wasn't real...or maybe something that had been but then had died out? Either way it was no longer a living thing here, whether in literature and stories or in real life. Even if it survived in books there was no one who could read them and no one who knew the stories. It was...dead whatever it was.
"First floor...or second? I don't know about other floors...." She didn't even know if there were other floors. "I only saw a bedroom, kitchen and dinning room last time." She spoke softly, looking to the other. Lucifer Force http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=24441075&page=2 the long solo is the idea of the place. Not much to go on though.

The shift from Destiny City to Nephthys' homeworld was exhilarating. It was a sense of anticipation she rarely felt now whenever she returned to her own moon. This place was unfamiliar, unexplored. The first thing she'd noted was the smell of stale air. Perhaps there was a distinct lack of wind to circulate the air here. The world felt... still, almost. Dead, in a way that Kallichore wasn't. Grass and trees grew unchecked on the surface of her moon. Here on Nepthys, there didn't seem to be any plant life whatsoever. The fountain with the strange cat-like creature atop it seemed to intrigue Kallichore, and she approached it as soon as she noticed it. The basin was dry, bone-dry. Tilting her head, Kallichore answered her companion over her shoulder without taking her eyes from the fountain. "Perhaps it's best to start somewhere familiar, and work from there... in case we run into problems, we know what rooms are safe..." Kallichore realized she hadn't the slightest idea what this cat-creature was. "Nephthys, have you found out what this house is for? Is it a home, or a governmental building? It's quite lovely. Victorian? Your fuku fits nicely."

"The kitchen looked a mess and the dinning room...though there was also a garden out the windows there - all dead and out of control. I remember that." Likely it had once been alive, with flowers and trees and more, for people to look at while eating. A sort of show perhaps? To look at the lovely flowers, a matter of pride? She couldn't be sure but it seemed like something to show off to guests. Maybe also to add to the mood or something.
Watching Kallichore move towards the fountain, observe the odd creature atop it, she shook her head. "No. I didn't do much of anything. Three rooms I ventured into and that's it before I left."
It would make sense if it was important somehow, and it did fit her uniform as the other said as well as her sphere, but she wasn't even sure on the size of the place. "Maybe we could open some windows? I don't know if we get rain and it will cause damage but the air..." It wasn't the best, it was stale and unpleasant to breath in. She just wondered if the windows opened and if it was like normal windows back in Destiny city...and not some odd complicated, or overly simple, sort of thing.

Kallichore was tempted to reach up and touch the strange feline statue, but withdrew her hand. "The air in here is a bit heavy. Have you noticed very much weather through the windows?" Her own moon was very lush in comparison, with fresh air and sweet-scented winds blowing from the sea. Here, the very air itself was stagnant and smelled of must and age. Regardless, Kallichore found the place to be utterly fascinating. Perhaps this society was built on the opulence and excess that so characterized modern vampire cinema. Walking across the floor, she appreciated the sound of the heels of her boots made. It was... elegant. Kallichore found herself curious about the other rooms, and the plush, delicate and Gothic designs throughout the place. She seemed more distracted than usual, stopping every so often to admire the molding on the door frames or the curvature of the banister on the staircase. "It's quite lovely in here, all things considered, Nephthys. It's very beautiful in its own way."

"No...I only looked through the dinning room ones and that was just the garden." And she hadn't noticed anything. There was a lot of dead garden and she had been a bit preoccupied so hadn't noticed a thing. "Maybe it's a dry season? I don't have a clue really."
Following at the others side she nodded her head. "it is...and the emptiness mixed with the gothic style and how dark it seems...I think that's what creeps me out. You expect to run into something creepy..." A werewolf, a vampire, something dangerous and sudden. It was why she hadn't really appreciated the place like she perhaps should have. but a lot of detail had gone into the place, that was for sure.
Down the tucked away hall on the first floor she led the way towards the dinning room. If they wanted to get an idea of the outdoors they could stop in here to see, and to check out the garden.
It was, as she'd said, all dead from what view the floor to ceiling windows showed. Trees and vines and thorns and trellises that held up dead vines. bits and pieces of what had likely been leaves and flowers littered the stone ground. It was hard to see so much detail unless pressed up close to the glass, and much of it was covered by the dead growth. The plants had obviously lived on past human life and over run things a good deal before dieing as well.
The dining room itself was..a mess, as it had been before. The senshi stepping around carefully as she made her way to the glass. "I don't know how to get out to the gardens...unless we were to break the glass." Which was dangerous, and not knowing the weather here it might let rain inside as well.

Kallichore gazed up the stairs and to the second floor, nodding. "Yes... this heavy air lends a sense of dread in here. It's like we're part of a horror movie. We just don't know where the monster is hiding." If there was a monster. One never really knew, and on Tsui's homeworld, tigers still roamed freely. It was very possible that something was still alive on Nephthys. Following along behind the vampire senshi, Kallichore found herself distracted by all the minute details of the inside of the house. What wood was used? What tools were used to carve these intricate designs along the banister of the staircase? Were the windows made of the same kind of glass found on Earth, or was it some other substance entirely? She almost didn't want to approach the beautiful window until she'd combed through the dining room in its entirety. "Honestly, Nephthys," she started, carefully wandering towards the dining table. How many meals had been eaten here? What was eaten? Was it blood, as this was a world of vampires? Or was it real food like they were accustomed to? Kallichore had so many questions. "...this place is fabulous. I have so many questions about it just based on craftsmanship alone... it's quite lovely."

"It is...now that I look at it and I'm not so scared." Having someone else around helped, someone else who was stronger and had more experience. She herself was no longer as weak either, she had more confidence as well. If she could handle a greater youma, at least in part, she could handle her home world - right?
She had to admit the dining room, the whole place, was amazing to look at and she wondered what sorts of people had lived here...had she in the past? "I'm sure there has to be a way into the gardens...but I don't know. I don't know anything past the first room on the second floor...and I didn't look in either room next to the entryway." Something they should do, that might provide a way to the gardens and to other rooms. It would, no matter what, provide more to be seen.
"The second floor room was a bedroom, that's all I know. I assume the other rooms down that hallway up there are as well." But she could be wrong. There might even be stairs up there or who knows what else.
"I'm glad you like it though. I'm getting to appreciate it myself as well." She felt safe and comfortable...like she could try and relax here a bit.

"Sometimes it helps to have a second presence to make things less... intimidating. I certainly felt terrified when I first visited my moon..." Should they try to find a way into the gardens? Or should they explore the upstairs areas? Kallichore found herself salivating (internally) over the prospect of a library, despite the fact that she suspected none of the books could be read. Still, simply standing in the midst of all this history was incredibly fascinating. She felt blessed to simply be standing here. "I'd like to see all of it, if I'm perfectly honest," she started, gingerly touching some of the place settings at the table. They seemed extremely fine in taste and craftsmanship, as if the owners of this house were incredibly wealthy. What did they eat here, in the past? What topics were they discussing? Just the sound of their heels against the floor was satisfying. "Sometimes our world guides us in... not-so-obvious ways. Perhaps it is trying to guide you, but isn't communicating well. Do you feel anything in particular, Nephthys?"

"You did?" Questioning as she looked away from the garden outside and focused on the other senshi. "I expected some level of darkness and creepiness here. I just wasn't ready for it or how creepy it would be." Or how much it would make her think of horror movies, and vampire movies like that one with Kate Beckinsale in it.
"I can take you back with me - every time I come here." She offered, not at all bothered by the idea. In fact, the idea of bringing the other senshi here with her each time was appealing. It gave her company and was calming. She liked the idea of not being alone here. This place, this home, seemed huge and not all that inviting at least not yet. This had once been her home world...so maybe in time it would be more inviting and feel more like home?
"Guide us...they can do that?" Surprised she turned away from the other for a few moments, glancing about and out towards the garden. Letting herself try and think. "I-I don't know. I just want to explore now that I can...to see more. I know this place is large...I'm sure of it. I want to explore here, all of it, before leaving this house." Exploring this house may take time, several trips, but it would be worth it she figured. After that though...she wanted to see beyond here.

Kallichore nodded slowly, eyes turning to the view of the garden through the dim windows. "...yes, in the same fashion that you were concerned about your homeworld. What would a moon of madness look like? Would it render anyone insane upon arrival?" A deep red glove traced the edges of the window thoughtfully. The eternal senshi distinctly remembered the sheer terror that gripped her heart when she decided to visit the moon for which she was named. There was anxiety in Nephthys' voice. "You don't have to visit every time you're able. After my first venture, I did not return for a few weeks. It was difficult to confirm that there was indeed a civilization on the moon that was wiped out." She could still hear the singing of the children as Chaos breathed its fatal poison over the surface of the moon. Kallichore nodded to Nephthys with a slight smile. "...lead the way. Take your time, Nephthys."

"Ahhh, I can see where that would worry someone. What did you think when you realized what it was...and wasn't?" She questioned the other after some moments of silence. She knew she didn't have to visit here all the time but she should. She knew there was a lot here and many things to see and if she wasn't alone she could do it, she wasn't so scared or nervous. Nothing was alive here, she was sure of it, but it was still creepy here and not a place she wanted to be alone just yet. In time she was sure that would change, or at least she hoped it would....yes - that was it. She hoped it would.
"I know I don't have to. But I should. There is a lot here...and if I'm not alone I can do it. I just...it's still creepy and not a place I want to be alone." She could do it with someone else though. It made it easier, safer, and she had someone to talk to.
"The kitchen is just like most kitchens....so maybe the second floor bedrooms...and see where the hallway goes to? I only went into the first room...and I know there is more to this house, it's larger - the construction suggests as much. Maybe a way into the gardens will be found along the way."

What did you think when you realized what it was... and wasn't?A very poignant thought. Kallichore smiled in response. Now they were going places. "Truth be told," she started, wandering quietly behind Nephthys to take in every inch of the house as best she could. Commit it to memory. "I was expecting something... horrific. If our homeworlds are a living-or-otherwise representation of our powers and previous civilizations, I expected... to have post-traumatic stress disorder, I suppose." Infinite hallways, screaming, the sky filling with thousands of eyes... something of that nature. Something horrific that never materialized. Kallichore found that to be very odd. "But, like you saw, it's fairly peaceful. I used to find that very suspicious." Or perhaps that was the entire point. Take expectations and twist them. "I used to think it lonely, but now it's more... of a quiet solitude. Surely if I think about it, and dwell on it, the loneliness would sink in. We do receive glimpses of our past when we visit our old worlds. Have you seen anything like that, Nephthys? A ghost stalking the halls, as it were? Not a ghost, but..." Kallichore clicked her tongue, kicking herself inwardly. Nephthys was nervous enough - best not to scare her, intentional or otherwise. "...a vision, maybe, a living memory? Have you seen anything like that, Nephthys?" If the vampire senshi did in fact witness a specter of the past, Kallichore may not be able to see it. She vaguely remembering seeing a vision herself on her own moon, but Europa could not see it. "Since we're here, let's see if we can enter the garden..." The senshi of madness then started to search for a door or some other way to lead them outside.

"I suppose not all homeworlds are a good representation. Maybe yours is a calm to oppose the madness...to soothe it?" Nephthys ventured thoughtfully. Making her way back the way they had come, back towards the entrance and towards the fountain. "Although....there was signs of civilization. I would have said, had there been none, that madness can come from no one being around...lots of open space and nothing else."
She was hesitant, of course she was, as she approached the stairs and slowly headed up them. Her heels hitting the wooden steps with small thudding sounds, the wood was old but didn't creek. Her heels were heavy as were their shoes so there was no silence to be found when she climbed the stairs up to the second floor.
The second floor hallway was wooden just like the stairs. The rooms had their doors standing open while the hallway walls appeared to have been covered in some sort of wallpaper...maybe silk? it looked like it had been fabric of some sort, due to the ripped up remains of fibers and threads from the ruined remains. The color was hard to figure but the wall scones were nice, set up with the remains of candles in them which sparked to life.
The first bedroom was the one which she had been to, and left quickly before, this time she didn't run from it. She headed for the open door way, glancing back to see if the other had followed. "I don't know if I could stay somewhere with no one else...not for a long time. I'd get lonely." She was one of those who needed people in her life, she was a social person, but she was sure Kallichore knew this by now. "N-no...this is the second time here and the first wasn't for that long. I doubt it was long enough to see anything." To earn that...or time enough for anything to happen.
She knew the other, like herself, wanted to get into the garden but she hadn't seen anyway in down there...there had to be a way but she didn't think it was down there...but where she wasn't sure.
