Since the wraith incident Xi-wang had been powering up as often as he could and gathering energy, not something he originally planned on doing but he’d had something of an...awakening. While he had been hurt, by one of his own, he had spoken to Acubens and he understood things better now. He didn’t have all the knowledge he could have, or would like to have, but he was comfortable with what he did have.

He was comfortable with where he stood in the world now, more comfortable than he’d been in years. There were people who cared about him and he had a place that was safe and love. He could breath a bit better now it felt like.

So he felt that he should, in turn, do his best and collect energy as much as he could. That was why he was out tonight, again, and letting his wraith do it’s job as he stood back watching as it had at it. A group of teenagers on some benches not far away were tonights target. Watching them drink, while most were underage, and smoke and laugh and talk...none of them would notice his wraith. They were all far too preoccupied to notice the wraith, or him sitting up in a tree watching them.

Elvira was out alone. Again. She would never really learn, no matter what awful things happened to her…she would continue going out alone…even if she did get hurt. There was just the issue that one day she would end up getting hurt beyond her ability to fix so…she couldn’t let that happen.

She was nearly at the point of going home…there was candy there and she wanted to eat it, and not brush her teeth just to spite her brother, when the twinge of chaos made her stiffen and frown in alarm.

At least…at least whoever it was wasn’t stronger than she was…or even as strong as she was…and it wasn’t…it was…dark mirror? She hadn’t seen one of those for a while…honestly she had pretty much forgotten that they existed…but where was the senshi?

Elvira looked around, trying to find whoever it was and stop…whatever bad deeds they were doing. Because, well. That was her job. Finally, after a good three minutes of searching she found what she was looking for. Someone up in a tree, watching some people on a bench…ugh. Taking their energy no doubt.

Quietly, the senshi crept over and held her hand out, whispering her attack and hoping that gave a good enough distraction. “Elvira Garland!”

When the magic was in her hands, she flung it at the dark mirror senshi, using her next breath to scream at the teens to run.

They didn’t need to get hurt, and she didn’t know what this senshi would do. She never did have luck with chaos.

What was with his luck and senshi coming across him while he was gathering energy? He seemed to just have the worst luck lately, and he was finally taking things seriously and going out to do something! He wasn’t annoyed or upset but it was bothersome...it wasted time of his which should be getting put to other uses - more important uses. He could only hope the senshi, a super he assumed, would leave him be and not get involved.

However, the expected thing happened and they didn’t leave him alone - nope. They came toward him, he could feel their signature. Hoping his hiding spot was good enough, most people would not look up into a tree for a person, he continued with his energy gathering. Even if they did spot him he was putting the time he could to good use. He could only hope that whatever fight happened, as he was sure one would take place, he could escape with little to no harm done so Caleb wouldn’t notice. He didn’t want to worry the other, he was trying to keep this all well hidden from him.

Scanning the area for the super senshi he didn’t spot them, yet, but then he didn’t need to as he heard words and then, before he could react, he had something coming at him and he had flowers, those ugly Christmas ones, about his shoulders. He might have struggled normally, might have yelled at the senshi, but instead he wasn’t...he couldn’t get annoyed or upset - it seemed impossible to do so. He was...happy? Though about what his mind couldn’t supply but there it was - he felt unreasonably happy.

Coming down out of his tree, watching as the teens seemed to have taken her advice to leave, he wasn’t upset...again he knew it was wrong but he couldn’t manage to feel anything other than happy about it and he knew it was wrong.

Elvira had her hands on her hips, watching as the dark mirror senshi climbed down from the tree. “What do you think gives you the right to steal energy from people, hm?”

It didn’t matter that he seemed to be almost a foot taller than her. It didn’t matter that she was looking up at him, none of that mattered. She was stronger, and that was what did matter.

“Seriously, what do you have to say for yourself? Those people did nothing to you, and you had no right to do harm to them.” She crossed her arms over her chest now and scowled. “What good does it do anyway? Stealing energy from people? Why don’t you spend your time doing good things, instead of being the bad guy.” Well. She sure gave him an earful. And she hoped he listened.

Or if he fought…well. She’d do her best, wouldn’t she?

For a moment he wondered if she knew how much like a parent she sounded...like an angry, or upset, mother. Was she tapping her foot? He actually let his dark eyes flick down to her feet to see.

“Are you older than you look? You sound like a parent.” Ok...so maybe not the best thing to say, not the nicest or politest either, but he couldn’t help but think that about her. If she was younger than him...well he’d only be half surprised, considering how she behaved did not match up to how she looked. She looked younger than himself...but she acted like his mother...or well not his mother but a mother.

He didn’t answer her though, didn’t speak up for himself, he simply stared her and waited for the magic to fade and when it did and he let his smile fall from his face, as he wasn’t feeling so happy. Because despite his words he had said it all with a smile in place and a happy voice. Now though that happiness was gone, thankfully.

She scowled. “Does it really matter how old I am? There’s no age for doing the right thing, you know. And for your information, I’m fifteen, so I’m plenty old enough to know what right and wrong are. I think it’s something you should learn too.”

Elvira didn’t know what to make of the comment of her sounding like a parent…perhaps it was just all the time she spent with Arias rubbing off on her. That would make some sense.

“Why do you do it, anyway? What’s the point of hurting people and taking their energy? How can you think that’s a good thing to do? I don’t understand you people. Chaos people.” Her hands fluttered at the word chaos, as though she was trying to wave it away from her.

“You’re all…evil. Why would you want to be that way? Are you so unhappy with the world?”

“I’m not saying that. You just act like a parent.” He said, trying and somewhat failing at holding back his laughter. It wasn’t his fault she acted like a parent! She did with the scolding tone and the words...it all screamed upset mother. “I’m not saying you don’t know right from wrong. You act like an upset parent.” He pointed out to the other.

“I’m not hurting them. Did any of them seem in pain? None seemed to even know.” Pointing this out while he took a moment to glance about, risking her attacking while he had his head turned from her. “There are different kinds of chaos and I suppose you wouldn’t understand us unless you were one of us...or got close enough to us.”

Evil? Him? Far from it, he wasn’t evil...you could ask Acubens or even Caleb...though Caleb didn’t know he did this...what would he think if he ever found out? He really needed to keep this from him...just to keep him from this war in the city and to keep the other innocent, more than he was anymore.

“So what if I act like a parent? I think that says a heck of a lot more about me than you acting like a criminal. Chaos is chaos, there aren’t ‘different’ types. You’re all creeps, and thieves! Sure they weren’t hurting, but did you ask them? Did you ask them to take their energy, because if you didn’t, then you’re a thief. How would you like it if one day someone walked up to you and just stole all your money. Or your clothes? You’d be annoyed and unhappy, wouldn’t you? Well that’s what you’re doing. And if you can’t see it, then you’re sick. Seriously sick.”

Elvira drew in a breath and stamped her foot, glaring at the senshi now. How could they have such a high and mighty attitude when they were the bad guys? How could they argue that they weren’t when they so obviously were.

“It’s rude to steal from people, and if you can’t at least realize that, then you’re hopeless.”

It did say a lot about her...things he thought but wouldn’t say - they were too rude and mean. It wasn’t normal for a fifteen year old to act like a parent though...to go scolding people. He knew how to ruin a person's social life, he’d ruined his own, but her acting like a parent was another good way to do that. He wondered if she acted like this around people her own age...like friends and classmates.

“There are different types, you don’t know because you don’t want to know.” He was not the same as the Negaverse, he knew that. Acubens had told him as much, and he knew that from what little experience he had.

“Different things...very different.” That was where he knew he was having something taken, something he needed and would miss. Energy...they didn’t see or know it was being taken and people...recharged, sort to speak. So how were they the same thing? He really wasn’t certain but he was sure they were infact not the same thing.

Watching her stamp her foot he was reminded that while she spoke like an adult she was still a child...and obviously prone to such behavior? He really had never behavred like that as a child, he couldn’t and wouldn’t have gotten away with it - and he knew it. He was a boy and little boys didn’t act like that, at least not in his home.

Rude...stealing was more than rude but he didn’t see it as the same thing...not how she made it out to be anyway.

She felt sorry for him. Elvira realized that this was what she was feeling. Sorry for him. Sorry that he was so set in his mind and that the chaos had tinged his soul so badly that he couldn't see that he was doing bad things...and she felt sorry for him.

Chaos was a terrible thing...it changed a person and made them think they were doing good things...or at least not bad things. But they weren’t. The were monsters and doing monster like things and they couldn’t even see it.

With a sigh, Elvira shrugged.

“All right. Fine. Keep...keep being evil. Just...maybe try to think about what you’re doing...maybe if you try to think about it...one day you’ll realize what you’re doing is wrong.” And maybe he wouldn’t. Regardless...she couldn’t change the world. It wasn’t in her power...she had saved the people, and that was what she could do.

She turned and started to walk off. It was hopeless. He was hopeless...and she wasn’t going to get worked up over someone who wanted to do bad things.

Standing there, surprised and yet pleased, he was glad he didn’t have to fight her but surprised at how easily she had left. He hadn’t a night this easy yet, not that he wasn’t glad for this tonight. He didn’t like her words though...he wasn’t evil. He didn’t questionable things but everyone did from time to time - human nature. And yeah he took energy but he hurt no one by doing it.

Shaking his head he watched her go, a small smile in place. Maybe she’d one day figure out that he wasn’t evil...that she’d see the various shades of bad and evil and realise he was somewhere in there but so was she...they were just different shades. Neither of them were all good, no person was.

Deciding to leave as well, since his captive energy source was gone, he figured he might as well head home...or maybe Caleb’s instead? He had a nicer bed and better bedding, since all his bedding had somehow migrated to the others home.
