Personality

Frendo is a bubbling pot of strange habits and friendly demeanor. He's sometimes a little much to handle at first, from the fact that he is a excessivebit of a talker to his temper tantrums, but Frendo is a great troll to make friends with.

He is loyal to a fault, and will do pretty much anything you ask of him once you've gained his loyalty. Which isn't all that hard to earn, seeing as he thinks little of himself and highly of other trolls, no matter their rank on the hemospectrum. This may make him a bit of a push over, but it also gives him a large group of trolls who might stand up for him in the future. Especially once they realize how willing Frendo is to do anything requested of him

He will bend over backwards for another troll, doing literally anything he can physically or mentally ascertain. It's to point where he may have to find someone to teach him how to say no before he runs himself into the ground, or gets himself in a dangerous/deadly situation. There will be many times that he will find himself stuck between two tasks that have him struggling to complete both. He cannot accept his own failure, and is very harsh on himself, and not very discreet either. He is likely to berate himself or shame himself publicly before the troll he had failed.

But where he cannot accept his own faults, Frendo is very accepting of all others-again, the whole before himself. He tries very hard not to judge, even if judged by others, and tries to accept everyone for who they are. Even if they hate him(hey, they might come around one day!) that's okay, it's natural to hate, he understands that. He likes to see both sides and take ride the fence, which can be tricky, but some how he fumbles his way through it. This is a great trait, but also will make life hard when he ends up being friendly with two opposing crowds. He wouldn't know what to do if he was made to choose, and step out of his comfort zone. He just wants to befriend everyone, he doesn't want to pick sides.

When stressful things such as this arise, trolls will come to find Frendo may not have the best coping skills. Where as must trolls may be able to over come these sorts of stressors, Frendo prefers to run away from his problems by using one of the strange plants he has found to make him feel a sense of 'relaxitation'. Some might consider him a habitufiend, using anything he can to run from a problem.

He also tends to cope like this when he feeling a sense of worthlessness or inadequacy, which happen to him quiet often. While he tries very hard to keep a vibe of 'happy and care free' going on the surface, underneath he struggles with the fact that he's a lowly orangeblood, and that he will never become anything greater than that(no matter what Laughdads or anyone says). He will also struggle with these feelings of low self-esteem when he cannot help someone or cannot finish a task set before him. He will never blame another troll for his failure, and will always blame himself(even in situations where it was obviously out of his control) because he tries to hard to only see the good in other trolls. One day hopefully he will realize somethings just happen and not everything is his fault, and he can be the best troll he can be, but for now he struggles daily to accept himself and usually opts out with his plants or some other distraction like a good beating or ANOTHER task to handle.

But when Frendo can't run from a problem, and can't find a way to escape into his safety cocoon of flora, fungi and chores, he tends to throw fits. Not violent, aggressive fits towards other trolls, but literally temper tantrums. Throwing himself to the floor and wailing about how horrible life is, kicking and crying and punching walls. Breaking things and generally just acting like a pathetic wriggler. Again he feels no shame doing this in front of people, but might feel ashamed if admonished for it.

Under all the foolishness and need to please is a smart troll though. Frendo is a lover of random facts, and a master of trivia. He collects tidbits from books, conversations and pamphlets so that he can spout random crud anytime it might be useful, and because of his habit of trying to find the new best relaxitation plant he has become quiet knowledgeable in the ways of raising, caring for and identifying different flora of the Alternia. When he is not out helping other trolls or nosing through the last informational pamphlet, he's most likely strolling around exploring and looking for new or interesting plants and fungi to add to his little make shift garden in his hive, or at his hive watering and tending to his plants needs.

Strengths
OVERLY ENTHUSED DAMBEAST (eager beaver)
"OH I CAN DO THAT FOR YOU!"


If Frendo can help, he's gunna help! And really, he won't complain(out loud) about it! He's possibly the most ready-to-go, let's do this kind of troll you'll ever meet. And 99.99999% of the time, he doesn't care what the task is! For him, helping others and working hard are two things that just naturally make him happy. Almost as much as eating the strange flora he finds enjoyable.

But seriously, you want someone to clean your hive, Frendo can do that. Want someone to fetch you that ingredient you needed for that thing you're doing, Frendo can help! Need someone to talk to, why Frendo is always here for you!

Even if he's busy, he'll drop what he's doing for another troll, which can some times be a problem when he's already agreed to a task and then someone else wants his help. While this is a great trait, it can cause him a little bit of stress when he piles too much on his plate. Not that he'd dare back out of anything he offered to help in, that just isn't the Frendo way.

Also, he is notorious for being early to things he agrees to help with, and sometimes he's too early, to the point where it can be a little ridiculous.


SOCIABLE
"HI! I'M FRENDO!"


Know anyone who needs a new palemate? Frendo is always down to socialize.

He wants nothing more than to be friends. He is very easy going and open minded, and as such is a very easy to talk to troll. He doesn't like to cause drama, and has a hard time staying, or even getting, mad at other trolls. He'd rather just agree with your point of view than argue, and while this might make later exchanges, where it's found that he's agreed to both sides of the same beetle, a little awkward, he wouldn't think to change that attitude.
He is the guy who is always warmly smiling and generally giving off the vibe of 'nice guy' even though he's covered in scars and bruises. It's rare to see him angry.

He is also the type that's going to spot that one lonely troll at the gathering and go out of his way to make friends with, because he can't imagine anyone having to be alone. Of course, this could be annoying to some who prefer to be alone, but Frendo can't help it, he's just a friendly troll. He wants to make sure everyone feels included and welcome, maybe because deep down he wants to feel that way, not that you would get him to admit that.


GOOD MEMORY
"I KNOW ABOUT THAT!"


For being an idiot most of the time, Frendo actually has an exceptional memory. Of course, he's not mighty scholar, but trivia and random facts tend to still strongly in his mess of a think pan. He can get rather excited when he can put this trait to good use, and will jump in anytime he has a little bit to say on a subject. This also makes him a collector of books, pamphlets and basically anything he can learn from, and while he's never FINISHED a book in his life, he could probably tell you the basics of most things he's learned.

This also makes him eager to learn, and when being instructed on something or being told directions, you can almost guarantee that Frendo will remember what you said and how to go about whatever task you set him on. He loves to be informed, and the more info the merrier, though just like with too many tasks; too much information and Frendo's likely to need a stress break.


UNABASHED
"THIS ONE TIME--LET ME SHOW YOU--IT'S NOT THAT EMBARRASSING!"


Have you ever done something stupid and felt terribly embarrassed right away for it. Or said something and immediately wish you could take it back?

That's not Frendo. He is a troll of many words and very, very few filters. If he thinks it he is most likely going to say it. The only time one could expect him to not say what he is thinking is if he knows it might upset them(of course, unless they want him to upset them). Besides that, everything he thinks is on the table. That one time he had to eat dirty undergarments when he was just a little kid being bullied by high ranked trolls? LET HIM TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT, in detail, in public, loudly. Or how about the scar right on his rumpus? Don't you wanna see it, it's pretty cool! AND THE STORY BEHIND IT? Even better.

It would almost seem that he finds pleasure in embarrassing himself, and sometimes is not aware that others feel embarrassed FOR him. The one time he might actually feel bad about his unabashed nature if someone were to inform him that they were embarrassed for him, seeing as he doesn't want anyone to feel negatively because of him. This might be the one moment he feels ashamed of his behavior, but the moment will always be fleeting and either followed by coping mechanisms or requests on how he can repair the situation.

Flaws

MASOCHIST
"IT'S OKAY, I ENJOY IT."

Frendo is a bit of a masochist. He has a very subservient mentality(refer back to his lack of self esteem and worth) along with a high pain tolerance(from his habits) and a certain pique in his own blood. Mix this together and you have a small troll with an desire for punishment, a glutton for pain. He pretty much put himself in situations where he is guaranteed a good punch to the face or kick to the stomach, and takes it all with a stupid grin on his face.

To some trolls, this may be a desirable behavior, and they might find they have a loyal, hardworking punching bag at their disposal basically all of the time. Other trolls might be upset by this behavior, and wish for him to stop, but likely he never will. Though perhaps with the right guidance, he might come to find he can 'save himself' for that special someone instead of being the communal beating post. Either way, as it is at the moment, if you're an angry troll looking for a face to punch, look no further then Frendo Crocut.



ANNOYING BRAGGART
"I AM THE BEST ."

DID YOU KNOW Frendo is pretty AWESOME. Why, if you let him tell you, he can go on for ever about it. Did you know Frendo is the BEST palemate Alternia has ever seen? Did you know he KNOWS HIS STUFF about the flora of Alternia? DID you know he's a GREAT punching bag? Did you know how QUICKLY he can get you that one thing that you wanted so badly, or how GREAT a listener he is; he's SOOOO open-minded and the BEST helper, and on and on and on. He loves to boast, it's his one little joy. Of course, it's almost all exaggerated to a high and almost annoying degree, and is mostly done to mask his insecurities. Like if he keeps saying it, one day he'll believe it himself....right?


SELF-CRITICAL/INSECURE

"I'm just no good to anyone..."

Frendo's worst enemy is Frendo.

He has a lot of bottled in hate for himself, and rarely thinks positive thoughts about himself. Sometimes he even voices these negative thoughts out loud. It isn't surprising to hear him call himself a worm, or a worthless or whatever. Especially when he messes something up. The berating becomes almost uncomfortable to be around at the point. Highbloods might find this to be a nice habit; a lowblood who knows his place in the world, but it might come to upset other lowbloods trying to prove that just because their blood isn't high on the spectrum doesn't mean they are worthless.

He second guesses himself and his plans, and usually prefers to let someone else take the lead because he is so certain he will just screw it up if he is in charge. The only thing he ever feels confident about is his garden, where he has managed to prove to himself-in the smallest amounts- that he CAN do something at least. With a push in a certain direction, Frendo might find his confidence or find himself at a new all time low. Only time will tell.

NO LIMITS!
"WHO'S TIRED? I'M NOT TIRED!"

While one of his greatest traits is his kindness and willingness to help others, Frendo tends to take it to the extreme. He sometimes misses out on sleep or eating because he is too busy doing something requested of him, and will often times put himself in danger without fully considering or caring about the consequences. He'll eat anything, try anything, and do anything requested of him, even at the expense of his body and mind.

One of these days, this attitude is going to cause him to lose an arm or injure himself to the point of non-functioning, but at the moment Frendo could care less. His body, in his mind, is meant to be used to its full and extreme use. Nothing can be spared at the expense of himself, when another troll is expecting something from him.

NEW HEMISECT CITY, in a dingy little sublevel hive just big enough for his little in-grow garden and Laughdads and him to rest and eat. He dreams of having a bigger home one day for Laughdads.

TWO-HEADED HYENA CALLED LAUGHDADS.
Laughdads are the best. They are definitely two different personalitys, but they compliment each other. Leftdad is more serious and uptight, with a prankster's gleam in his eye, and is the one always pushing Frendo to do his best!
Rightdad is kinder and more laid back, and laughs about almost everything. He is the one who constantly reminds Frendo of how amazing a troll he is, though it is something Frendo never really believes, he still agrees with Rightdad, because he knows that that will make him happy. Together they form Laughdads, and are the best lusus a troll could have(in Frendo's opinion). They would do anything for their troll and Frendo would do anything for them.

In looks they are about twice the size of a mastiff and as mentioned are a two headed hyena, with overly large eyes and mouths.
