She'd heard that Adria wasn't doing so well. She didn't know the details, but considering he was very definitely absent from senshi-stuff, it had to be something pretty bad. And so the chibi senshi had set to doing what she did best.
Making something crafty.
It hadn't been hard to get the exact supplies she wanted, considering she and her mother kept their craft room well stocked, and once she was finished, she'd signed it with a little pawprint and stuck it in an orange envelope. She was rather happy with the results, in all truth, and hoped Adria liked it once she could give it to him; it was a nice sunset-y piece of cardstock, turned into a card with 'Get Well' emblazoned on it in white [all the better to stand out against the rich colors], and decorated in sparkles and little sun stickers.
Of course, once she had already stuck it in her purse and let her father know she was going out to get ice cream, she realized she wasn't entirely certain how to get the card to him. Maybe Lysithea would know? Or Elpis? Mmmm...she was normally better at thinking ahead...

Malcolm was doing better, but he knew he still had a long way to go before he was doing well. He’d spent the vast majority of the week in bed but his doctor had told him he needed to try and be active. It wasn’t the walking around that was the problem—it was the getting up. Even just lifting his chest caused a searing pain to spread from his chest to his fingertips and Malcolm hated how weak he felt. The bruising from his broken nose had mostly faded and it didn't seem like there would be lasting damage; his arm was in a boring cast, and all the other injuries he had were hidden beneath his clothes.
It took him fifteen minutes to change his shirt and nearly as long to try and brush his hair.
He gave up after twenty minutes of trying to find a way to put on his pants and not hurt himself I the process; he just barely managed to get them up to his hips before he decided he didn’t care what he looked like.
He wanted ice cream.
It was a ten minute walk to the ice parlor store and he knew he needed to get some fresh air and exercise.
He had not anticipated his body deciding he needed a break halfway there. Foolishly, he’d taken a seat on a bench near a small playground; great for a rest—bad because he had to get up again.
Eventually. Not now.
Malcolm was going to take a long break, because no matter how badly he wanted some ice cream, he wasn’t going to deal with the pain of standing up again until he absolutely had to.
Thankfully, it was a cool day; he knew how badly he must have looked. He hadn’t even been able to tie his hair up. While the street was a public place, he didn’t expect there would be too many people passing through; he closed his eyes and tried to relax. Even if it had hurt getting here, the fresh air, the sunlight…
This almost seemed like a good place to take a nap.Das Tor I hope this is okay! I thought maybe she could bump into him/have it be a lucky coincidence or something ;v;

Bailey knew there would be people about even on a street that wasn't crowded. That she expected. What she didn't expect was the very person she had hoped to get the card to to be on the street. Well, on a bench, but still!
Poor guy did not look at all 100% though. She'd actually had to stop and take a second look to realize it was him, because his hair wasn't even done. She approached once she remembered his civilian name, hoping she didn't spook him. The last thing someone recovering from...well, anything needed was spooked!
"Malcom? It's Bailey! Would you mind some company?" If he did mind, she'd give him the card and wish him well verbally, too. If he didn't...well, Bailey always wanted to spend time with friends!Kyuseisha no Hikari That is basically what I was thinking. o uo

Malcolm picked his head up and opened his eyes to scan the area when she called his name. “Oh!” A smile grew quickly and he nodded to the seat next to him. “Actually, I’m really happy to see you—I’d love some company. I had to get out of the house, it was driving me crazy. What are you doing out here?”
He tried to scoot over just a bit for her but when he realized how much it hurt to do so he just gave her an apologetic smile. “Sorry,” he said quickly, “My body’s a little upset I dragged it so far. It hasn’t really been cooperating with me so much these past few weeks.”

"I bet! Being cooped up for any reason is the worst." She wrinkled her nose, tongue sticking out a bit to emphasis the thought. The scrunched expression morphed into an understanding smile. "That's okay! I'm young and uninjured, I think I can stand or squat a-okay! You give your body a break. It did good getting you here!" With that, she moved to stand closer to him, digging through her bag.
"We didn't really get details as to what was going on, but...I made you this." She pulled out the card, holding it out to him. "Every bit of good will and good juju helps in recovering, right?" That was how she learned it, anyways. Good vibes, good medicine [overall, not just pills or such!], and plenty of positivity went a long way in helping with recovery! Malcom tilted his head, immediately curious when she began to go through her bag. “Oh?” he asked, leaning forward slightly. When he realized she had a card for him, his face lit up.
“Did you make this? That was really sweet of you!”
He didn’t even have to open the card to adore it, but when he did he smiled and said, “I love it, thank you. I’ll try to get better soon. I miss going out and patrolling with you guys. Have you been taking care of yourself? Not getting into any trouble?”
