So rounds one and two had gone to the great beast. Dem had a small problem with that. Not only had she lost the small stand offs but now she was just being made to look bad. So she wanted to change that. The woman got to her feet and shook off the dust of her previous failures before turning with squared shoulders to look at her opponent. “Alright you, lets play.” V'demhe clicked her tongue against her teeth and then did a charge of her own.
The first two times she had waited for the Yaotl to make it's move so this time she decided to make one of her own. It looked like the beast hunkered down and was ready to meet her head on when she feinted to the side and turned so that she could bring one sword hand up and out. She slammed the blunt end of her hilt into the side of the beasts head with nothing more than brute force and a scream that said business. “Hyaah!” Dem wanted to daze the thing at the very least but she was hoping to knock it completely unconscious.
Due to the toughness of the Yaotl she didn't think she would get to give it a knock out but she could always hope. Upon connecting with the head of the creature she felt the vibrations carry up her arm and when she looked it in the eye she saw it. Her first win against the great terror of Matori. She had indeed dazed it. How? She'd caught it off guard and knocked it good.
