Slipping off the back of a wagon Chrysanthe let out a sigh of relief. It felt so nice to be able to touch the ground and stretch out her legs! The hybrid shook her head as she glanced around. No longer was she by the ocean nor was she in the deserts of Oba. With all the trees and crystal grasses around her the girl recognized that she truly had entered Tale at last. From here Sauti and then to new lands. She shook her head at the thought. If she even ventured towards Belrea. Who knew at this rate?
All she wanted to do was to keep roaming Tendaji.
She just wanted to be anywhere but stuck in Sauti under her family's eyes. Sighing, Chrysanthe twisted on her heels as she studied the village that she had arrived at. At least one thing was certain it was a good time to stop and stock up on some supplies. "Maybe herbs first..." She mused lightly as she glanced at the nearest shop. That decided the girl reached out and pushed in the door...

Sitting in the shop, she watched an elder woman picking apart a strange looking fruit. The woman was explaining the parts and various uses when the door to the shop swung open. Straightening up, Constynce was shooed away to serve the customer, their lesson on pause for the moment.
Walking toward the door, Constynce gave the strange girl a light smile. "Welcome. May I help you find anything?" Was she a hybrid of some sort? Had to be.

Chrysanthe glanced over as the leafling woman approached her, "I suppose so." Chrysanthe smiled, "Though honestly I'm not really certain what. I'm travelin' see and I want to stock up on some good herbs." She paused and tapped a finger against her bottom lip thoughtfully, "So let's see...if I get into a fight then maybe something to help with scratches and bruising. Maybe something for my headaches as well - I get those a lot when I'm adjusting to climates."
The hybrid laughed before glancing up towards the owner, "So maybe let's start with the headache relief. Something to ease the pain in my temples for if I do take that airship to Belrea. Probably would be wise right? Never know how 'airsickness' could affect me."

Lips pressing in an attentive manner, Constynce nodded slowly and let her eyes drift to the various herbs that would be useful for the voiced problems. She was reaching for one box when Belrea was mentioned. "Belrea? That is where those flying ships came from, correct?" Pulling the little box down, she gave the girl a nervous glance. "I haven't seen them myself, but I've heard just about every spectrum of a story, from evil to kind. Have you actually met them? Why do you wish to go there?"
The older woman cleared her throat, making Constynce smile bashfully. "I mean, this works well for headaches. Also for those who are training on the kinfa in the sky."

While she waited for the other woman to browse through the herbs Chrysanthe found herself poking through some of the various things that were resting on the counter. Her nose crinkling Chrys laid down one of the strange looking leaves back into its wooden box before glancing over at the woman who was speaking to her, "Yes, it is." The girl smiled as she watched the shop keeper's nervous reaction, "They're fine. I was in the grand market actually when they first arrived. I didn't see anyone 'evil'." She laughed, "I've also heard that those who have went overseas haven't died and actually one or two have come back around. So surely they aren't kidnapping and killing us all, heh."
Chrysanthe blinked at the older woman's reaction before twisting to offer a shy wave, "It's uh good to talk about Belrea though so we can figure out more herbs, right?" Turning her back to the older shop keeper the girl winked towards the leafling, "Should we begin formally? I'm Chrys and I'm traveling to Belrea soon. So I'm thinking that their mountains are a bit warmer climate than our lands and I want to be prepared for any allergies and other issues that may occur while traveling in the air towards those lands."
She nodded as the herbs were introduced to her, "Sounds about like what I'll need. I hear that ears can pop something awful in the sky so I'd like something to help ease that tension. I'm rather cranky enough as is so we don't want a headache added to it."

So, one more notch in the 'good guys' belt for the Belreans... She honestly didn't know what to think. "I hope they're not!" she gasped out, a hand on her chest. Kidnapping people to take overseas! The idea was terrifying!
She blushed again when the other mentioned her name. Oh, she was constantly forgetting formalities! "My name is Constynce. It's a pleasure to meet you, Chrys." Walking over to the wall of stock again, she pulled down a couple more boxes. "These will be good for your sinuses as well." Her brow rose with surprise and she cocked her head. "You don't seem very cranky at the moment, but.." she walked back to the wall and pulled two more samples, "these have calming effects if it would please you."

Chrysanthe laughed quietly, "I don't think so - you don't have to worry about that. They seemed more bookwormy than anything. Knowledge this, learning about that, oh the power of wisdom. They seemed to be the less likely warrior race of anyone I've ever met before."
"Nice to meet you as well." Chrysanthe pushed away from the counter so that she could follow Constynce, "Those sound great." The hybrid laughed at the compliment, "You caught me on a good day. Plus, I'm normally nicer to girls. They tend to be less like the jackass guys I meet." She flushed lightly before raising a hand to cover her mouth, "Sorry about that."
"Thanks." Chrysanthe reached out a hand for the samples, "Any instructions on these? Are they good for brewing in teas or should I ask if you have them in pill form?" She flushed lightly, "I'm not so good at this medicine thing. Most of what I know if to rub ointment on a wound and to also drink some light tea when I'm feeling nauseous. Seems to be good advice for an airship trip."

While the elder woman beyond them gasped sharply with disapproval at Chrys' language, Constynce blushed and giggled, lifting her fingers over her lips to stifle the noise. "I do hope I do not turn out to be a jackass," she whispered, eyes glittering with amusement. She rarely spoke so boldly! It was so inappropriate!
Straightening back up, she pushed one box closer to Chrys just a little. "This one works very well when you inhale the steam. Just put some into a pot of hot water and let the scent flow over you. Then you can use the remaining water in a tea with this one. If you prefer pills, both can be taken in those forms. I find the scent and the tea to be more pleasant though."

Chrysanthe only flushed a bit more at the gasp. Honestly if she wasn't playing nice she would have made a face. It wasn't like she had said the worst possible thing after all. Still, her gaze did widen at Constynce's reaction and Chrysanthe found herself grinning, "So far I don't think you are. Not at all."
The hybrid studied the contents of the box and gave a slow nod, "I should probably take both just in case." Chrysanthe smiled, "May not be a luxury ship after all so I better be prepared just in case I can't make that tea during the trip. Don't you think?"

The approval brightened Constynce up quite a bit, making her smile grow. "Oh, I didn't even stop to think that the ship might not have the necessary items! You are absolutely correct!" Spinning again, she pranced her way over to another shelf. A firm stare from the elder woman brought the prancing to an immediate halt, and she returned to Chrys with a little bag of pill casings. "Would you like me to fill these for you, or would you prefer to do it yourself? And how much will you be wanting to purchase?"

The hybrid nodded, "Yeah. I don't know if I could grab any water from the air." She teased lightly. Though to be honest she was still wary about how she was even going to get to do this. Was she going to hide in the cargo hold if they had you pay for passage? Would they toss her into the skies if she was revealed?
Chrysanthe smiled as she focused back on Constynce, "If you don't mind it would be great if you could fill them. I'm not exactly experienced with this. So unless you're wanting a great mess on your hands I'll watch." She teased lightly, "Do you think about 30 would be okay? Just because I'm not certain how long it will be until I can come back. I should have enough coin..."

"Not unless you had magic," Constynce agreed with a chuckle. She nodded lightly and turned to grab a few tools. "Okay. We'll fill 30 and see if you-"
The old woman cleared her throat again, glaring hard at Constynce.
Constynce looked over with surprise, confusion, and then a pout. "You are so stern, Fiora," she grumbled, turning to Chrys with a sigh. "I will have to confirm that you have enough coin for the thirty pills before I fill them." She told Chrys the cost for the pills, and then how much it would be loose for teas as well.

"Magically accurate aim I've heard, but not magic - magic." Replied Chrysanthe with a small smile, "Would be convenient though, right?" The hybrid was amused by the interaction between the older shopkeeper and the apparent apprentice, "She's very stern, but rightfully so." Quipped the girl lightly before holding out her pouch, "I do have some coin so it should cover this..." She counted out what Constynce noted and smiled towards the old lady ever so politely before looking back to Constynce.
"I just stole these last night." She teased lightly, "Kidding of course. I got paid for helping a caravan that come through if you truly want to test that as well. Do you really think this will be good? I honestly am actually kinda worried when I think about the big trip I'm wanting."

With a reluctant nod, Constynce glanced back at the older woman briefly. Constynce preferred a lot more room to flow~ Stole?! Oh, a tease. Giggling, she shook her head and took the coins. Once they were confirmed, she sat down to fill the order. "It is quite the daunting undertaking you intend to make," she said, glancing up at the hybrid. "Have you asked the advice of those who came here on the ships?"

Chrysanthe grinned at the reaction. If anything the girl was pretty ballsy and not really concerned with how her teasing would be handled. Worse case she would just have to go find another medical shop though she trusted that the leafling in front of her was too nice to truly shoo her like that, "You think? I feel like it's the same as going anywhere else on our continent. Just gotta be bold and take that first step." She smiled and shrugged, "Just happens that the first step in this case is to get caught up into the air."
At the question the hybrid stopped and pursed her lips thoughtfully before slowly shaking her head, "To be honest not really. I actually used the grand market to hitch a ride to Matori and am just now heading back to the area. I heard through others that they were still coming and going with the ships so here's hoping I can hitch a ride and find out what all the fuss is about. I actually haven't talked to anyone just yet that came from Belrea."
