Caliban grunted a bit as he landed in the alleyway. He had probably jumped too far, trying to test how much of a drop he could stand in his powered form, and realized that maybe he shouldn't try it again anytime soon considering that he felt some pain shoot through his legs as he landed.
Although he usually tried to practice parkour a bit as he patrolled, this night was strictly for patrolling. He hadn't met with any other agents lately and while he was grateful for it, he also felt as though he was slacking in his duties. Though he knew that his allies didn't want him to rush in and get himself hurt on purpose, he was a senshi and he felt a compulsion to help protect and serve.
He would never really admit that he was just bored out of his mind currently and was trying to find something to do on such a nice night.

He knew he shouldn't be out, not alone anyway, but he still wasn't sure he trusted going out with someone else. The claw marks on his face might be scabbed over but they were still there, still visible, and he really was spooked after that whole wraith thing.
Kiuchi was just trying to keep safe, he didn't want to be further injured, it wouldn't be easy to explain to Caleb if he came home hurt again. He'd had to already explain once, and it hadn't been easy, although the other had been hurt as well.
This was why he was keeping clear of any auras he felt as he let his little wraith loose to drain energy as he stood watching it work on unsuspecting people. The dark haired senshi was keeping to the shadows so the people, enjoying some late night in the park concert, didn't spot him. He figured this was a good time for to gather some energy without being found out, as everyone was rather busy with their backs turned to him. The music was loud, so they wouldn't hear much either if someone did spot the wraith and shout out or anything.
This really wasn't his sort of scene and he'd not be here if not for energy draining. Actually, after this he was going home and curling up to sleep - this was making him tired.

Caliban was just about to go on his way, back onto the other rooftop and not taking giant leaps overestimating his own skill, when he felt something. It wasn't very big, and he couldn't tell exactly what it was, but it had caught his attention and he found himself wandering over to a late night concert in the park. He sometimes wondered why people would be wanting to be listening to loud music so late at night. He certainly didn't like his ears to be pounding when he woke up in the morning.
But he could feel the aura of a dark mirror senshi. He had felt it before and he knew what they could do. This senshi was definitely collecting energy. Or at least that's what he assumed because of the large crowd. It was definitely a great place to take it, especially when they could command something else to do it.
He knew he didn't have much time before the other felt Caliban's aura, and so he set out searching for the source, the senshi. He would have to go after the senshi anyway, he didn't feel that fighting a wraith would be productive. If he could distract it's master, wouldn't it be easier to defeat the senshi then?
He looked around a bit more, trying to pinpoint the source and finally found the senshi. It was a bit hard to see him, considering it was late at night and there wasn't much light out unless one counted the lighting offered by the concert, but there he was, in the shadows, definitely letting his wraith do all of the collecting.
Caliban rushed towards him, intending only to stop him if possible.

Between the loud music and the people, who he thought at times might be louder than the music, he knew he'd have a headache by the time he got home. Kiuchi also knew he was gonna be drained himself. Going out to do social things, especially bigger social things, always left him feeling drained and tired. It was just an emotional drain on him that had him wanting to sleep the moment he returned from such things, not that sleeping wasn't a big part of his life anyway.
Suppressing a yawn, as he leaned against a tree, his dark eyes focused on the backs of the unsuspecting people. They were all easy targets for the mirror wraith which was doing it's job in draining them, it was likely none would even notice they were more tired than usual from an event like this. Those that did...well...that was fine too.
What he wasn't expecting was to feel a senshi, he knew what they felt like, it wasn't like that sternal though. This one was weak, like himself. Hoping to not get into a fight he started to look around, hoping they hadn't sensed or spotted him...and they had - they were coming right for him in fact. Cursing to himself he pushed off the tree trunk and calling back his wraith he tucked the shard of mirror away before moving to face the incoming senshi. It looked like he had no way to avoid this, other than running, as he was sure this one would give chase.

Well, it wasn't any surprise that the other senshi had managed to sense him and reacted as such. He started to slow down as he got to the other senshi, as he realized that the other had stopped his attack. Though he wasn't sure if the other was done for the night. Maybe... he could convince the other to stop with what they had already done? It didn't have to come to blows at least.
He stopped as he got close enough to the other, breathing a bit form the exertion. He... wasn't really sure what to say next. It was actually kind of awkward since the other had decided to stay put and was now looking at him. Caliban wasn't about to throw the first punch though if he didn't have to. He looked at the other, thinking of what to say.
"Are you... done for now? You've got enough energy right?" Well, not every intimidating, but he wasn't that type of person anyway.

That was it? Charging at him and then that? That was unexpected, although a good thing, but he couldn't help staring at the other in utter surprise for several moments before answering. "Done here, seeing as you're here." Might as well be honest - right? They could try and stop him, of course, but he sort of had confidence in his magic and hoped he could handle the other if it came down to it.
The other seemed to be...hopeful maybe or at least not wanting to fight. So he'd go with that...he'd leave here and find another place to continue draining energy from. He might even just wait till they left before returning and continuing, there was nothing wrong with that - right? he did have a duty and he wanted to get as much energy as he could before he gave into his tiredness and headed for a nice warm bed to sleep for the night.
Taking the time now, as he was afforded it, to look the other senshi over he wondered what they were senshi of, at least that might provide some idea of the magic. He knew his own sphere could give some hints...sort of anyway. But the uniform offered nothing, neither did his own though.

Caliban believed that the other senshi was done draining, for now. He was mostly hoping that he could chase the other off and not return. These people were already drained a bit, he needed to go off and go home or wherever. At least he assumed that other senshi might have some normal civilian lives, Caliban did after all. "Just to say, I can't leave until I know for sure that you're done, or at least you aren't going to continue later." If he did have to fight, so be it. But some things could be solved through words, right?
He wouldn't underestimate the other senshi though. He always had at the back of his head the possibility that the other could try attacking at any time, and he wasn't sure what the attack may have been. He had met too many other senshi that he couldn't predict what they had been able to do, that he would take no chances. He would incapacitate this senshi as best he could if he had to.

Well, he could wander off from here and come back...maybe the other would be gone by then? Maybe not, as it sounded like the other might just stick around and wait to make sure he didn't return. That bothered him...this was his best chance to get a good amount of energy gathered, and he didn't want to really give it up.
He could go else where, it wouldn't be too hard to find more people, but it would take longer as he'd have to go for smaller numbers. Here he had a lot of people all at once. Decisions...decisions...he wanted to get home and sleep, and sooner rather than later, here was the best place to grab energy. The more he gathered, and the faster, the quicker he could get home to sleep.
He didn't think the other would follow him, and assure he didn't go energy gathering else where, so it would be safe to go and hunt down energy in other places. But this was perfect and his bed...his pillows...warm blankets...
He was staying here, he wanted tonight's energy gathering done with quickly.
He had been thinking of leaving, he honestly had when he'd said it moments before, but the call of a warm bed and pillows was sort of calling to him much like the siren's in Homer's story The Odyssey called out to Odysseus as his ship had sailed past their home island.
It looked like he would be fighting for the first time since that wraith incident.
Reaching up towards his hair with one hand he seemed to pluck a hair from his head, only normals hairs didn't glow green. "Gorgon's strike." The green light white left the thin 'hair' was aimed right for the other senshi.

The siren's call that is a bed for him, lol.
Sailor Scout Attack: Gorgon's strike. Reaching up, with either his right or his left hand, and from his hair he will pluck a "hair" that glows green. The green glow will rush forward from the hair in his hand toward his target, someone within a six foot radius of Kiuchi. If the beam of green light does in fact hit the target, or someone who puts themself in the line of fire. They will then start to feel mildly nauseous and unwell, including possible blurring vision. Nothing too serious, of course. This will last for thirty seconds and can be used three times in battle. During this time being more active, or other outside things, may enhance the nauseous feeling.

Unfortunately Caliban wasn't ready for the attack. He never really was. Although he knew that senshi like himself could use magic, it was the variety that he expected, and so every new senshi that he went up against or met was always showing him something new. And unfortunately, this one had another ranged attack, like all of the other senshi he had previously encountered. He had started to wonder if he should be worried that he had to come in physical contact with his targets and if he just was no match against those who could use magic from a distance.
He was also surprised that the senshi would be willing to use magic in such a crowded place. Weren't they supposed to keep all of this secret? He supposed that some didn't care if they were seen.
He tried to dodge the, well, glow, however it hit him at the last moment, and he immediately felt like he was feeling unwell. However, although he didn't like the feeling, this was a bit easier than other attacks he had been up against. And he still felt as though he could fight.
He tried to be able to tell where his opponent was, and with all of the energy he could muster, went to hit his opponent, saying, "Seal Away!"
Seal Away When Caliban hits an opponent with one of his fists, it causes the opponent to be temporarily paralyzed, where the opponent was hit (either the whole arm, whole leg, or torso+head), for 15 seconds. Can be used twice in battle period.

He knew it was a risk, casting magic and fighting here, they could be seen and it could turn into utter chaos if lots of people saw it and panicked - as people were prone to doing. This city being so plagued by 'terrorists' it wouldn't surprise him if some tried to get involved while others just fled, though some might even just continue on. It was a risk, he knew it, but he wanted to finish energy gathering and get to bed! He had a really nice pillow calling his name and a peach bun plushie, not to mention his panda plushie, which he wanted to curl up with.
Kiuchi could only hope they didn't get spotted...he'd taken the risk and now it seemed like the other was going to retaliate. He watched the other push through whatever it was his magic did, he knew it did something but exactly what he was clueless to, maybe he could ask someone some time? Though he doubted anyone would honestly take the time, or be nice enough, to answer him and why should they be? he'd attacked them...what reason had they to be nice to him?
Without thinking, before he could hear the magical words, he raised his arms in order to block the incoming fist and protect his face. He wasn't expecting what he assumed was a magical attack, going by the words spoken and the following feeling, and found he couldn't lower his arms - either of them. What the hell?
Without his hands, and needing to now defend himself and retaliate, he kicked at the other with one slippered foot.

Caliban managed to dodge the foot, but only because he staggered a bit after he had made impact. Just because he was able to focus for a bit didn't mean he still wasn't under the effects of the other's attack. And the nausea was finally catching up to him. He would almost say he was as disabled as the other senshi, but he could at least move around.
He looked at the blurry spot that seemed to be the senshi, though he couldn't tell what exactly he had hit. Blinking a few times, and trying not to gag, he managed to say, "Last time I say this. Leave now." Sure, the fighting could go on for longer, but at least he knew what the other's attack was, he would just have to dodge it the next time. Though that meant that the other senshi also knew what his attack was too, so they could be going at this until they both ran out of magic.

Watching as the senshi in front of him staggered back, avoiding his kick, he was glad for the distance between them. In fact, he moved back a few steps intent upon putting distance between them as well.he didn't need to get hit again like that, his arms were still not moving despite how much he tried to get them to.
Watching the other he listened and shook his head slowly. They still wanted to fight...why were they so dedicated to helping these people? They weren't in trouble and they weren't being hurt; so why? Either way it was obvious that despite whatever his magic had just done to the other they weren't leaving, they would stay here and fight him. This was going to take more time than he would have spent gathering energy. This was going to cut into his sleep time...
Not only that but the risk of being seen, of people breaking out into panic, some maybe joining the fight, would rise. The best, smartest, idea was to leave and give this up as this wasn't worth the stress and the time out of sleeping it was going to put upon him. He felt bad about it, like he was failing in his duties but was it worth it? Cutting into his sleep plus it was stressing and he wasn't one for fighting. This was more than he wanted to be involved in. So he backed up further, until he felt safe, and then turned around and headed off into the darkness. He'd power down once it was safe, when he was sure he wasn't being followed. At some point, soon after leaving, his arms were free to move again - good.

Caliban eventually felt the nausea and blurred vision fade away, however, by the time he was able to look around and take in the situation, the other senshi was gone. That was good, at least these people would just feel extra tired rather than not making it home due to exhaustion.
He sighed, straightening himself up and also getting the heck out of there before he was seen. Even though the spells effects were gone, he still felt as though some pepto-bismol was in order and was glad that he had some waiting back at his apartment.
