Rodina had just dropped off her little ones at the academy and wished her parenting partner a good day when she had received the invite to meet up with her brother, deciding to go and visit him. The two hadn't seen each other in a year, and they had a lot to catch up on. Maybe her twin would even be surprised by her change of attitude toward life. Just last year she was cruel and only cared for what she could do to further herself into the business world, willing to cut off anyone to get to the top. After going to an orphanage for publicity sake, she had found herself softening to one of the children there and soon adopting them. Not long after that she had a longing desire to imbue a stone of her own, finding Xiomara and imbuing two beautiful children together. Back then she would of called herself crazy for either of those actions she had taken, but now she wouldn't change it for anything; not even to expand her business. Floin, Shou, Zymri, and even Xiomara, she couldn't see her life without them.

With the meeting place insight, she began to look around for Rorick, wondering if he was even here yet. He had said he would be here by the designated time right? He better, her twin knew how much she hated others saying one thing and doing another, especially when it came to time and orders given.

"Ahhh!... Rick!" She quickly got out of his grasp and tried to calm herself down from the jump scare, surprisingly not decking him right in the jaw. Maybe she had gotten soft from raising a family? Well, maybe being lighter hearted wasn't a bad thing? ", Please don't do that, and my name is not Rodi. It is Rodina. RODINA," she tried to pronounce it for him to get the point across, a sigh escaping soon after followed by a smile. Yep, she had definitely gone soft if she was smiling so easily ", It has been way too long since I last saw you. I honestly have missed having you around. Why the sudden urge to see me? You didn't even want to see me after I mentioned I had started a family and wanted to have them meet them."

"I'm not in love!" She tried to defend herself, sudden disgust and anger appearing on her face at the mention of using Xiomara as a sort of baby factory and using their children for cheap labor ", And I would never do such a thing to her or our children. They mean everything to me, even more than my business! I don't care if I have gone soft, having a family is like nothing I have ever experienced before. I would never want to go back to the life I had before. They're my life now, everything I have and want."

She might of gone on a bit of an angry tangent, but she had to set the record straight. Xiomara and her children were not pawns to her. They... they were family ", Rorick... Everything I thought would bring happiness was wrong. It wasn't money or power. It was being able to share life's experiences with those I care about," a sigh escaped her lips after she had said that though, able to tell already her twin hadn't changed a bit ", But I guess you wouldn't understand what it is like to have something you can call your child, looking at them and seeing such joy when they look up at you and ask for you to play, or you to read them a bedtime story. Looking at them and knowing they want you not because of money, fame, power, or beauty, but because you are simply their parent. I know you don't care about all that, but I hope one day you will understand."

"You.. you did what?" for a moment she didn't know what to say, wondering what her brother had possibly done to get himself thinking he could handle such a thing ", Don't tell me, you thought you could imbue a child and think you could use it to gain a few extra girls in each arm. It isn't a piece of a chess board you can manipulate for your own selfish gains to win such... such trivial things that honestly don't matter! Do you have no feelings of parental love for the child you have produced? None at all? Do you simply wish to take advantage of such a creature so fragile and dependent upon you?"

"You're... you're just going to leave it at an orphanage if I don't accept!?" her brother was truly only thinking for himself. This child he had produced deserved so much better than he was wanting to give it, and if he didn't want to man up and be a father then she would do so. Would this child ever even know who thier father was? She wasn't even sure she wanted them to know at this point ", You never really cared for anyone but yourself. One day I hope you change, but for now all I care about is making sure this child knows they are loved by someone, even if that person isn't their own father. Yes I will take in the child, and maybe one day you will realize what a grave mistake you have made by not caring for anyone but yourself. I've learned this lesson, and I hope one day you will too."
