Luc tilted his head up, glancing at the adults nearby before absently picking at the edge of his sweater. He'd been scolded for a prank, and as such had missed the early part of the afternoon - the best time of the afternoon, since it allowed him to meet and play with other children! It was his fault, he supposed, but he couldn't help but feel a bit grumpy as his normal play group was nowhere to be seen. After a bit of urging, he slithered off into the courtyard, eyes darting this way and that as he gazed around in search of someone to bother. So many of them were clearly preoccupied with one or more other freshlings, but at length his eyes settled on one individual. His own widened slightly in happiness, and he wasted no time in hurrying across the soft grass, accidentally scraping his shirt along the ground as he did. While it wasn't necessary, he found it much more comfortable to lean close to the ground when he was in a rush, even if it meant most of his clothes were covered with frontal grass stains.
He couldn't help it!
"Hi!" he chirped, appearing rather out of nowhere and curling himself into a neat pile nearby. "I'm Luc, I haven't -- I haven't seen you around before!"
The little naga hesitated briefly when he caught the stranger's eyes; he'd never met someone with mutations before, so it was a bit of a shock, though he wiped the surprise off his face as quickly as he could. He'd come here to make friends and he was going to do just that!

Giotto almost had a bit of a small smile today. He hadn't had any run ins with those kids that liked to well bully him for lack of a better word and he had been slowly making new friends that didn't care he was the child of one of the more famous bands in below. So it was almost a good day, except for one very small problem.
