
So many of them were clearly preoccupied with one or more other freshlings, but at length his eyes settled on one individual. His own widened slightly in happiness, and he wasted no time in hurrying across the soft grass, accidentally scraping his shirt along the ground as he did. While it wasn't necessary, he found it much more comfortable to lean close to the ground when he was in a rush, even if it meant most of his clothes were covered with frontal grass stains.
He couldn't help it!
"Hi!" he chirped, appearing rather out of nowhere and curling himself into a neat pile nearby. "I'm Luc, I haven't -- I haven't seen you around before!"
The little naga hesitated briefly when he caught the stranger's eyes; he'd never met someone with mutations before, so it was a bit of a shock, though he wiped the surprise off his face as quickly as he could. He'd come here to make friends and he was going to do just that!
