Maybe one, maybe two. It would be nice to have a partner to have one with, but that was less important than the child itself. He had to forgive his parents for letting his sister die sometime, and a baby would not only give him the excuse to make amends, it would fill the void in his life. The thoughts behind why he might want a child was why he'd hesitated for so very long, but now he was certain that having a child was the right thing. Not only to help him move on and of course reconnect with his family, but to give him someone to love and care for. Someone who could help temper the pain of his sister's loss, and give him a reason to try...to do more than simply exist. A baby would require nothing less, and so he would give nothing less.
