Location : Broken Road Tavern
Company : Tavern folk.
Feelings : Thirsty...
All these new orders coming through...
The tavern was bursting with patrons as the weather outside pelted the landscape with heavy rain. The general agreement of the group inside was to simply drink the night away and wait out the storm until it passed. By now bards were playing all arangments of merry music, staff was bustling about to quickly serve drinks and hot meals to eager mouths and some residents were even sharing scars and stories to go with them all even if some seemed a bit far fetched. The mood was jolly and the drinks were flowing. That was until the main doors to the building flew open with a rush of air and rain chasing it in, a single figure gripping the doors before promptly slamming them shut.
A small coin bounced along the floorboards as everyone glared to the entrant, a few candles needing lighting thanks to the doors opening. The figure quickly shuffled about in their baggy attire, their hood folding back to reveal a rather tired and weather worn man, blond hair and almost fog like blue eyes. The man rubbed his face a few times before glancing up to the room full of all races expectantly starring. He paused and cleared his throat as he made his way towards the bar, right hand slipping into his coats pocket which caused some to instinctively grasp the hilt of their weapons. With a small pause the man produced a bag that was packed to the seams, an audible thud resounding as he gave the bartender a pleasant smile.
"Next rounds of drinks and fresh meals are on me. This dreary weather shouldn't affect everyone inside EH!?!" he asked making sure to shout the last bit, a rousing cheer sounding out from all as he chuckled and raised a hand. "I've also got five gold that giant in the corner can't best that scale bound one in an arm show!" she shouted taking five coins from the pouch out to toss them into the center of an open table, moments passing before they squared away with a prize pot of gold already growing. In the chaos of the drinks being ordered and the arm wrestling contest the man snuck back to a corner of the tavern, letting out a heavy with as he leaned back into his newly acquired seat at a now empty table. He glanced over to see the two squaring off and gave a chuckle, shaking his head slowly. All too easy to get some fun started...
...Can't I just get some peace and quiet...
