Aldrovanda had been called to help someone that was injured, he was eager to test out his new medical knowledge and possibly maybe actually do some good. That thought lasted about as long as it took him to run into a tree in his haste. Van Pelt was cranky and lashing out with vines which made the rest of the trip a bloody kind of trail. He knew he must look a sight, but well he was a professional or at least he was tryign to be.

It was a rare sight for Losille to be out of the mountain - the trip to these woods was long and she didn't like to stay away from Izotz for too long - even in flight it took two days to safely make it down (that is, stopping to rest over night). However, winter was finally thawing and Spring was upon them which meant the land was sprouting new life - new herbs and the like that she required to replenish her stock.
Her satchels were almost bursting at the seams when she came upon the stallion and for a moment she thought to flee for he was a sight on his own, wounds aside. She took a deep breath and stepped into view. "Dear me," she said with a soft smile. "What trouble have you gotten yourself into?"

Van Pelt made a rude gesture with his vines, quite obscene.
Aldrovanda though was trying to force himself to think through the blinding pain in his nose and the blood that was just pouring everywhere. Strange thing being, he really actually didn't like blood that much. For a moment, one dizzingy moment he thought about what he was doing in his life. All the obstacles he was trying to overcome, then he hardened his resolve.
His voice was a little funny when he spoke, "I was twying to get to someone who weeded weeling, but I wasn't watchign where I was woing and wan into a tree." He cringed at his horrible explanation, at how impossibly stupid he probably looked.
But he was determined to turn his ineptness into something.

Were she young and inexperienced, the sight of the stallion's nose - blood included - may have set her stomach in a flip. As it was, she had seen her share of blood and by now had grown used to it. She stepped closer to take a better look a it. "It's not broken," she said more to herself than to him. "Swollen and very sore, but intact. Still, it should be cared for to avoid infection. You're lucky you ran into me, I rarely come down from the mountain." She started off in the direction she came. "Follow me, there's a stream near by."

For a moment, Aldrovanda almost refused though he was relieved to hear that his nose wasn't broken. He had a patient that was waiting for him. But then again, let's face....Van Pelt snapped his vine viciously and Aldrovanda knew he was right. He'd do more harm than good, especially now.
There had to be a way to get better, quicker without being such a....quack.
"Fank you." He followed after her to the stream, happy that his luck for once was turning out to give him some help instead of only hinderance.
