Taegan had always known which university he wanted to go to and what he wanted to major in. Despite that, he had done his due diligence and toured all three universities as well as the community college just in case something else caught his eye. But nothing had. Alchemy still drew him in as it had since he was young. Which meant that Leviathan had always been his university of choice.
Though, for a moment, he had almost allowed a pretty face to lure him into Asterion. He still thought about the leader of the tour there, but his mind had always overruled his heart. So Leviathan it was. Perhaps he could find time between projects to meet with her in a social capacity. Though he wasn't particularly good at that kind of thing and never had been. He was slow to speech and slow to action which would be beneficial for his studies and later for his work as an alchemist. But it wasn't good for such things as dating.
Knowing himself the way he did, he was more likely to bury himself in his studies which would mean he wouldn't give himself time for even visiting someone let alone dating. Right. So. He would focus on his studies and then when he had graduated, perhaps he would be able to give his attention to something like dating. He smiled to himself, pleased that he had a plan for his life. And if he worked hard as he always had, it shouldn't take him very long to graduate.
