Ofelia had not powered up in some time, but Mjolnir’s form fit like a glove nonetheless. Her absence had been due to uncertainty, however the Dark Mirror Senshi had found a new sense of direction and was all too ready to take up arms once more. Her mission for tonight had been to find Gehenna - but was distracted when a certain aura caught her attention. The brunette was on the trail of a Youma, she had been following it’s tracks for most of the night but for some reason she could not seem to keep up with it. It was strange, she had never had this problem before, why was this creature being so elusive? Was she getting rusty? Had her month absence really rotted her ability to such an extent?
Black feathers in her hair, her long translucent cowl, dirty gold metallic reflecting light. Tall, casting a long shadow, she had never been a Senshi with a welcoming aura, chaos only made it darker and more potent. She skipped a high wall and found herself on what seemed to be an estate - the trail ran dead but once again and there seemed to be nothing around that would raise concern. Again? She huffed, resting her hands on her hips and rolling her eyes. Her composure was starting to crack under annoyance.
Mjolnir was about ready to call it a night and crawl into bed; but at the same time she did not want to leave this creature roaming free, especially since it was proving to be sneakier and harder to detect than most. Deciding she could not in conscious leave this estate unprotected until she had least investigated further she took to walking the gardens, heels echoing in the night. It was a beautiful home, far more lavish than the one she had been raised in. As a former Crystal student she was used to visiting houses like this but never felt at ease in the presence of wealth.
Finally she heard a rustling and turned sharply, not to find the monster, but something more terrifying.
A young girl.

Giulia couldn't stop thinking about the night she had met her Seal Prince. She had woken up, and there had been something different. She had been thirsty, and it had been late, and mama's door had been closed, but something had been in the house. Something that wasn't her Seal. No one else had woken up, but she had, and she had followed the skittering through the house. Mama usually set the alarm every night after the last of the live-away staff left, and Giulia and Aidan knew how to turn the alarm on, even if they couldn't turn it off. The alarm had been off. Giulia was young, but now that she thought about it, there had been something that wasn't right in that, and she kept thinking about it. Why would the alarm have not worked? She had watched Jada set it. Maybe it was broken? It was late, but cook was still here, so the alarm wasn't set yet, and Giulia was allowed to be outside in the garden. She was using the time to patter around thinking; she had finished homework, and she knew that fresh air was very important. Everyone told her so. Giulia sighed, pressing her way through the maze, which she knew really good. So good! She'd never been lost in the maze- she knew all the secrets of the maze, and Jada had promised when she turned 8, she would get to learn one of the secret passages in the house. Rustling her way through the bushes, she was distracted by thinking about secret paths and failed alarms. Ahead of her was a princess. The first magical princess she had met, other than Ara, and Ara was little! This princess, however, was light where Ara was dark, and she did not have wings like Castor. She would have to ask, next time she saw him, why not all the magical princes and princesses had big wings- Ara didn't have them either. Did only Princes have wings? No, because Seal's Eye didn't have them.... But this Princess had feathers in her hair! "Odile!" she cried. "You're Odile!" a dark, sad Princess! Because clearly, that was why she was dark- she was sad.

“W-what?” Mjolnir tripped over the word, stepping back from the child like she was a viper. Mjolnir was not maternal in the slightest and viewed children as innocent and breakable things. Both were traits that were dangerous to possess around her, as she was a cruel and stone hearted creature. “Odile? Like, from Swan Lake?” She shook her head, golden eyes drifting to her feet. She knew the music, saw the score in her head, fingers twitching from phantom strings. It seemed like even a child could place her in a box, one of the villain, one of the fallen. She had always believed that they were sensitive to auras in ways that adults had long turned numb to, maybe it was because they were still so new and in tune to the world. It had not tainted them yet.
Alas, Mjolnir was not a ballerina and further from a Princess, more of a raven than a swan. Whatever this young girl thought she saw she was sadly mistaken, for what should have been silk and ribbon was armour and cold metal. She wore the attire of a warrior and the aura of a wraith. The brunette crouched down to be closer to her level, resting her hands on her knees and tilted her head curiously. Mjolnir was a tall by stature and even in a ball she was much larger than the girl.
“No, honey I am not Odile. I am- I am very lost.” Her name was not important, she did not have to know the inner workings of people who fought in the night. The more naive she was the better. However, with thoughts of the invasive Youma were still fresh in her mind, she was worried that the girl was outside, but knew the safest place for her was close by. She dare not think what would have happened if she had been alone. An easy bite sized snack for the creatures that lingered in the shadows. Shooing her away would only be trouble at this point.
“What are you doing out do late? You should be tucked up in bed dreaming.”

Giulia blinked large blue eyes at the stammering stranger, clasping her hands in front of her body, head tilting. "Odile," she confirmed, "The sad princess in the movie. I don't think she was actually evil. Mama said badness is in Nay chur and Nur chur, and so I think she was just taught to be naughty by the bad wizard." Odile stepped closer, and Giulia beamed at her, taking in the outfit and the feathers. "You're real pretty, Odile." Lost? Giulia stepped in closer to her, tiny feet shuffling over the path. "If you are lost, you have come to the right place," Giulia assured her. "We have lots of maps, and we have a phone, and we can feed you while you wait for a taxi, I don't think cook has gone home, since Jada hasn't called me in yet. You picked a good night to get lost here, we have lots of snacks and they aren't that old yet. We have family dinners every tuesday, you see, and this week we iced the sugar cookies, so they'll be extra wet and sweet and crumbly." She shook her head, and blonde curls bounced. "I don't have school tomorrow, so I got to stay up later, until cook leaves. That's when the alarm goes on, so I'll get called in. And no one really lives out here and we have a big high wall, so we don't really have any animals other than birds, so I can play." reaching out with a teeny hand, Giulia reached for the feather. "You have pretty feathers, Odile. Can I call you that, or do you have a nother name?"

“Maybe. It is a shame, I am sure she was very lonely as a Swan.” A girl who grew up with only her father for company, Mjolnir knew what loneliness felt like and she knew what it was like to be mislead. Seven years ago she did not even have a name, baptised in a Mirror that took away everything she knew and cared about. Overnight she had become lost and she had not found her way home since. “But you are mistaken. I am not sad, nor am I a princess. I am a Sailor Guardian.” How was she even meant to begin on such a subject? She was a celestial being bound to a Mirror; a warrior who fought monsters and haunted memories of the distant past.
Knowing that she probably said enough strange words to confuse her, she chose to move on the conversation as quickly as she could. “Thank you. You are very pretty too.” She smiled, not used to receiving compliments, especially not as Mjolnir. She tilted her head down slightly to give the girl access to the feathers on her head, a crown of laurels, made out of raven feathers instead of leaves. She wondered if that was why she was mistaken for a Princess? It could look like a crown to someone so small.
She hummed curiously as she spoke, offered help and refuge, it was sweet but her heart ached with the consequences that she foresaw. Innocence was a weakness in this world. “That is very nice of you, I am sure Jada is proud of your kindness. However, a word of advice.” She began, trying to come up with an eloquent way to word her warning - she did not want to scare the poor child. “Be cautious, it is a dangerous time. Nature and Nurture aside there is evil in this world that would take advantage of your kindness and your trust. Even if people are sad, it is not your duty to make them happy. Even if they wear the face of a Princess, an Angel, a Guardian or a Cat; it does not mean they are not black swans wearing a mask. There was a time when the world was kind to little girls, but those times have long since ended. So you need to be careful but not afraid.”
Never be afraid, because there were always those of would come to protect people in need.
She should not be encouraging her to approach, she should have scared her away for her own good. That was too late now, the best thing she could do was encourage her back inside the house and continue her hunt for the monster. “My name is Mjolnir, have you heard that name before? From old stories, from the movies?” She seemed a smart girl.

Giggling, Giulia squished a toe into the dirt, bashfully ducking her head. "Thank you for calling me pretty," she said cheerfully. "I want to be tall and pretty when I get older too, and then I'm gonna be a ballerina." Giulia had a lot of plans. "I would be lonely as a swan," Giulia told Odile as she caressed the feather in the gar-dee-ans hair with tiny, rainbow-painted fingers. "I like hugs. And smooches. And swans can't give sad princess gar-dee-an sailors hugs." And Odile had a pulse, presumably, which meant Giulia wanted to hug her anyways. Even if she protested she wasn't sad, or... a princess. Even when she was clearly a princess? How could Odile now know she was a princess? "Are you sure you aren't at least a little sad? I think you look like you need hugs." Even if just a teeny hug or two. Scrunching up her mouth, Giulia heaved a heavy sigh. "Everyone tells me there are bad things out there," she said with a sad little sigh, "I have seen bad ok, like there was a yoh-mah, and a man with a bull stepped on it, and another one kept me safe another time." She didn't say anything about the magic kitties. "Then there was a man with wings and a giant kitty with drippy angry teeth that chased me and a friend home after school." Giulia shook her head, golden curls bouncing. "There is so much yuck in the world, so mama says we need to make things happy where we can, and so I'm gonna." Be careful, but not afraid. Giulia mouthed the words, and gave Odile her brightest smile. "I can do that." Tilting her head, she considered thename Odile gave her. "Mew Mew, like in Norse mythology? I like those. We read some stories before bed, about old gods and stuff. And like in the movies. MewMew is the hammer of Thor! You don't look much like a hammer, Odile."

“I was training to be a ballerina once, it takes a lot of work and it hurts sometimes. If you start practising very hard though and start now; I think you will make a fine ballerina.” Mjolnir’s mother wanted nothing more than see her daughter become a professional ballerina; it was one of the many things she feel short on. She was sure that Cassandra Seer went to her grave disappointed, her daughter was unable to live up to a single one of her expectations - she did not even live to the age of eighteen. She had tried to raise a lady, she got a street fighter instead.
Mjolnir was sure that every girl wanted to be a ballerina at one point in their lives and Crystal Academy girls seemed to have a disposition for it. Looking at this girl's residence - there was no doubt that was where she was heading. Blonde hair, blue eyed, wealth behind her, she would do well in the world. In the poker game that was life, she had been dealt a good hand, all she had to do was hold onto her cards and learn the hustle.
The senshi shrugged at the girl's words. “Everyone is a little bit sad.” She dismissed her query, the brunette was not sad. Or at least she was not sad enough to confide in a child. A sigh left her lips; she did not like to think of little ones coming in contact with Youma. At this point she did not even like the thought of children living in this city at all. “I am sorry, that must have been very scary. Once upon a time monsters only existed in nightmares, they did not walk the streets like they do today. On behalf of all my kind, I am sorry for not being there as we should have been.” She dare not think what effect they were having on this new generation, celestial powers were disgusting things, this was not their world to taint. The brunette bowed her head to the girl, her fingers curling into a fist.
“I am afraid that is just the surface of all the yuck in the world; but that weight is not meant for your shoulders. It is the duty of the Sailor Guardians to heal it.” They were meant to be a symbol of hope and peace. At this point she did not have the heart to tell Guilia that she was fueled by chaos. To tell a girl that looked up at her with such an innocent smile, that she was broken and desperately trying to repent for her sins. If people could not even believe in the Senshi, what hope was there left? “So, leave the youma to me. And if you still want to help the world, then focus not on the magic but the mundane. The people and citizens of the city who have been hurt, who don’t have any friends and family to hug them and comfort them. Children your age who are lonely and lost.”
Mjolnir did not talk to children often, using simpler words was something she never had to think about. “Those are the people who are often overlooked by us, make sure they are not forgotten.” Often all that mattered was the battle, the collateral damage came later - rarely thought about at the time. Displacency was their sin and a reason why so many resented their kind. They did not need any more fighters, they needed civilians to be kind to each other, to use those every day superpowers to stay strong and endure.
Her smile became softer when she spoke her name. Mew Mew was no better than Odile, it was a battle she was not going to win. “No I guess I don’t, but I hit like one.” She thrust a fist into the palm of her hand. “Mjolnir has always been a symbol of protection. When the hammer was gifted to Thor they told him that with it he could smite any foe and that Mjolnir would always return to him; even if it was lost. It is a really big title to live up to.”

Giulia's head tilted, tiny mouth narrowing into pursed lips as she considered the woman near her. Odile was very pretty, and Giulia thought that she might have made an excellent ballerina. She was long and pretty, and while she'd not see Mewdile move all that much, long and pretty was certainly the start to a really good ballerina. Right? "I will practice very hard," Giulia assured Mewdile, "I have been watching the ballet movies, and I think I know how much I will need to practice, so." her nod was very earnest and excited. The movies showed it was a lot of time in doing spins, but Giulia was gonna be on a stage one day and everyone would clap for her and throw flowers like in the movies. "It was scary at first," Giulia admitted, shifting from one leg to the other without lifting her feet off the ground, shuffling loudly in the cold, "But we were okay. There are good people to protect us and keep us safe from bad things." she nodded, biting into her lip. Odile seemed different than Kaikarterdos and her lovely other knight, and from the wingy magic prince, and from her seal, and different too from Ara. She stuffed one rainbow-painted thumbnail into her mouth, considering the woman for a long moment. "I can do that," she decided after a moment. "Everyone needs a hero and I guess not everyone is a princess to have special protectors, so I will protect them and make them feel better when they are sad as good as I can." Giulia wasn't sure what all she could do, but the pretty Odile had given her a charge, and she was sure she could think of something to do that might be fun and important and protect the way people felt in their heart. People who were lonely and lost... She could do something about that, maybe. Odile had a pretty smile, though, and Giulia's head ducked again shyly. "MewMew is a tiny hammer. It was supposed to be bigger, but Loki was being a pain again, and so it got messed up." she wanted to show she knew a little bit about mythology too- maybe earn another of those lovely smiles from Mewdile. "It is a really big title." Musing for a moment, she asked, "Mewmew, MewMew in the stories and movies doesn't listen to just anybody. So how do you decide who is good enough for you to listen to?"

“I listen to myself.”
She stated, the answer came in a heartbeat like she did not even have to think about the question at all. In reality it was something that she had spent a lot of time thinking about, months, years, ever since the day she was corrupted. She had learned to trust the only person that had always been there, the only person she could rely on without hesitation - herself, her soul, her starseed. ”I have never been good at following orders and doing what I was told. It means I get in trouble a lot and I do not have many friends because of it.” Carving your own path in the world was a very lonely way to live, but one that she could make peace with. She was not anyone's pawn or anyone's weapon; and she would never return to that life.
”Yes, Mjolnir was very short - but I am very tall. That is called irony, do you know that word?” She asked, impressed by the young girls knowledge and her conversational skills. It did an her another smile, Mjolnir was usually very inpatient around children, but Guilia was proving to be less irritating than most.
The brunette hoped that was not sending the girl the wrong message; she did not want her to copy the behaviour at face value and use it as an excuse not to listen to ‘Jada’, a sister maybe? Or maybe a Nanny - given the size of the estate they certainly could afford one. Mjolnir shook her head, she was the worst role model for little girls and as much as she was enjoying the conversation - she knew she was going wrong by indulging Gulia in her curiosities. ”But that is not an excuse for you not to listen to your Mother and Father, or to Ms Jada. Would you not rather be spending time with them than me? If I had a family, I would want to spend all the time I could with them.” She clarified, her knee aching from crouching for such a long time, the Sailor Senshi finally sat down on the grass, her legs laid on top of each other and off to the side with a hand on her knee.
She looked at the girl and thought for a second, she was bright, intelligent, full of life. ”What is your name?” She finally asked, resting her free hand on the ground next to her.

Mewdile made listening to herself sound like such a simple thing to do. She said it with no pause, like she didn't have to think about it at all. That was adult privilege. Giulia didn't get to listen to herself, not yet. She wanted to. Maybe she would! All the nice things she could do for people if she didn't have to listen to what other people had to say- Jada had to listen to people like the Bored Of d**k Taters, but Zora and Lucas only had to listen to their teachers. Her lips pursed, considering. "Of course I know what irony is!" Giulia cried to mew, excited. "We have a suit of armor made out of irony in our gallery and it is really old and we can't wear it any more but it was before people had to steal in their armor." Mewdile mentioned Giulia's mommy and daddy, and the girl shook her head. "Mother is visiting heaven with Kayley and they are babysitting, and when I ask about Daddy Jada says daddy is naughty and needs a very long spanking before I can meet him, so I don't have to listen to them. But," she leaned in, "we have family dinners on Tuesdays and someone has been coming and having dinner with us and he looks a lot like Aidan so I think he might be our daddy." she nodded. "And besides, I see my family all the time and you are new! Making and... New friends are good." Then her eyes flew wide, short fingers covering rosebud pink lips. "How rude! I am sorry! My name is Giulia. Giulia Montgomery. I am 6!" She gave a childish little curtsey (she was, after all, wearing the perfect dress and felt like a princess when she did it!) and then stuffed out her hand. "Hi!"

“You are such precious little girl.” Mjolnir rested her fingers on her lips, she wanted to laugh but thought it would be rude, so instead only a quiet chuckle passed. The blonde was young, she did not need a lesson on the English language from a strange Senshi. Mjolnir’s mother was a writer - when she was Guilia’s age she learned as many big words as she could to try and impress her, she must have sounded just as innocent once upon a time. She used to hate it when she was corrected, she always thought she was smarter and more grown up than she was. “It is nice to meet you Guilia - I am the Senshi of Berserker's, Sailor Mjolnir.” She replied, bowing her head slightly and putting her fingers in the girl's outreached hand so she could shake is softly. She doubted Guilia would know what that meant; another big word for her to look up perhaps?
Her heart twinged at Guilia’s story and she admired the girls resilience children were strong and adapted quickly to change. Still, losing a parent was never easy. She was such a brave girl to be smiling like she was now, no child should have to suffer loss so young. She wanted to hug her, but did not think it was appropriate - she was a stranger.
Mjolnir kept her smile and tried not to show her concern on her face. “Maybe our mothers know each other. My mother was very sad, so we went to heaven so she did not have to feel that way anymore. I miss her very much. I would like to think she found a friend, do you think they are friends?” The brunette was not religious by any means and did not hold much faith, however, being a reincarnated soul meant she had come to accept there was some sort of afterlife. She was certainly more spiritual than she had ever been before. She could not know for sure, her connection to the past had been severed, but all the evidence pointed to the fact that she had once been a woman named Saga - and she used to be the King of a very old world.
Family meals once a week - it sounded nice. “Maybe he is, maybe Ms Jada just wants to make sure he behaves before she tells you, after all if he has been bad in the past it will take a while for her to trust him. She might just want to protect you.” She explained, she did not know anything about the situation and did not want to give Guilia false hope - however offering some kind of explanation might comfort her. “She will tell you the truth when the time is right, you just need to trust her judgement.” She added on the end, pushing herself from her sitting position to stand up.
She dusted off her knees and looked down at the girl, her expression a little more serious. “Guilia, you seem like a very responsible young lady. So I am going to be honest with you; I came here tonight because I was chasing a Youma, and I don’t know where it is. I know it is not here now but it might come back - I am not trying to scare you, remember I said not to be afraid?” She thought it was best to explain this now before she asked her next question; to let her know why she was asking it in the first place.
“I want to show you a way that you can contact me if you see anything suspicious. Is there a really big Mirror in your house? One that is as big as a door?”

Something she said seemed to have please Mewdile, and Giulia beamed at the older female as she pressed her hand to her mouth and gave a small little laugh. Whatever it was, Giulia would be happy to do it again if it would earn her more smiles. And Giulia was precious! Oh, she must have said something really good! She liked the idea of being precious- but not like, to Gollum. Wrong kind of precious. But to get more laughs from Mewdile--!!! "Senshi of Berskers?" She thought she might have said the word wrong, and frowned deeply. "Buserks. kurs." Closer? Mewdile had a very long hand, and Giulia shook it with both of hers, clasping it between rainbow-painted fingers. Hers now, no take backs. "That would be good to think that our mamas know each other," she said cheerfully, "I don't remember mama to know if she might be friends, but she didn't have a very nice face. She looked like she needed to..." Giulia looked around. Looked up. Leaned in close to Mjolnir. "She looks in the pictures like she really needs to toot a lot. But it's all the pictures, even the ones with me and Aidan. It would be nice to think maybve she has lots of friends and doesn't need to toot anymore, right?" Very nice indeed. Bright straw-gold curls fell in her face as she nodded furiously in eager response to the older woman's supposition. "I think he's our daddy, but then I get very worried about what if he tries to take us away. But we got to stay with him while Jada was at Fashion Week buying lots of shoes and stuff, and that was fun. But we'd miss living in the big house. I'd miss my bed." Mew rose and Giulia stepped back to let her hand go, looking up and nodding. Responsible. She was a big girl. "Chasing a yoh-mah!" her hands flew to her mouth, and her mind flew to her brother, who she had last seen swimming in the pool, and Jada, all alone in the study, or cook, all alone in the kitchen. "Oh no!" she gasped dramatically, picturing the big monster chasing her family around the house with no Ara to save them. Up the stairs, like in a scary movie, and imagining going back into the house to find blood splattered all over the walls and floors like ketchup. "You're sure it isn't here? My brother is little, like me, and Jada's not very useful as far as fighting a yoh-mah might go." tongue sliding between her teeth, she thought hard. Huh. "No, we don't have any mirrors bigger than the bathroom mirrors anymore." which was odd, considering her sister was so fond of staring at herself. "We got rid of them all a while ago." Giulia could remember a big mirror, she had seen it when they first started moving back in, but Jada had it towed away when they came back from New York. "And most the longer ones are really super skinny."

Mjolnir nodded her head, it was a strange word that held its roots in a different language; a feet for any six-seven year old? “Berserker, it’s your homework to find out what that word means.” She had seen children’s books on the topic before, or at least ones that gave it a mention. There had been a surge in nordic interest over the last few years it seemed; tv shows, books, movies, pop culture, information was easier to come across this generation. She did not know how much Scandinavian culture reflected her homeworlds, but there definitely did seem to be parallels.
The girl's words hit a chord with her, she knew a thing or two about being forced out of a home and having to start again. You never did stop missing your bed. She still missed hers. “I am sure that won’t happen. However, if it does you need to be brave for Aiden; sometimes in life we need to adapt and look at situations with a brave face, even when we are scared. Besides, home is where your family is - the house, the bed, it does not matter as long as you are loved, right?” She tried to reassure her the best way she could with the information she was given - there was a possibility she could have to go live with her parent, she did not know the backstory to any of it.
Mjolnir was not in a position to tell her ‘that won’t happen’.
The Senshi paused for a moment, opening her mouth and then closing it once more. It seemed very odd that an estate this size did not have any mirrors, and admittedly raised a bit of suspicion. “No mirrors, huh?” She mumbled, looking towards the house and then back at the child. “That is interesting.” She thought for a second and then sighed, holding out her hand to summon her pen. The information went to the back of her mind, stored but not forgotten; it might be her paranoia but that seemed to deliberate to be a coincidence.
“I am sure it is not around right now, I can feel it in my bones when they are nearby. That is one of my special powers.” She explained, grabbing a leaf off the ground as a makeshift notepad. The only thing that annoyed her whilst powered was not having her handbag; basic writing utensils, tissues and chewing gum. Ofelia as a civilian was one of those people who had a bottomless bag with everything you could imagine in it, Mjolnir had to make do. Thankfully, having a magic fairy stick that doubled as a pen was handy in itself.
“I guess you could always call me if you notice anything suspicious, you know how to use a phone, right?” She held out the leaf to the girl. “You will have to write it down somewhere safe when you get to your room, but hide it in a place that nobody will accidentally come across it; like a piggy bank if you have one, or in a very dusty old book that nobody has touched in awhile.”

"Bersker," Giulia repeated happily. She thought a Bersker was the people on the street who performed for money, there had been lots of them in New York and Paris, but she saw less in Destiny City. It was sad; she missed their performances. Maybe if Mewdile was a Sin-shee of Berskers, she would be able to use her magic (and she must have magic, because Ara did!) and make more show up to sing for Giulia? That would be an amazing ability for her new friend to have. "Aidan might cry," Giulia said thoughtfully. That wouldn't be good. She would be very angry if Aidan cried; he missed mama when she went away.He was a gentle boy, and Giulia had to keep him safe."I'll stay strong," she agreed, and then bit her lip. "It is a very nice bed though, Mewdile. Love is amazing and fun, though. I want to be wrapped in love like a blanket, do you think we can do that?" Open mouth; closed mouth. Giulia took the scribbled-on leaf, wondering why Mewdile seemed thinky. "Not no mirrors, just no really big ones.I am glad the yoh-mah is not around, I would not want Aidan or any of the help to meet one. They are nasty." tiny fingers rubbed over the leaf. "I have a phone, so I will call you. What will I do if you are far away and cannot beat up the yoh-mah? Is there a way I can protect everyone?"

“Maybe.” Mjolnir shrugged, nobody ever told children how exhausting love was. How much work relationships took or how painful they were at times. The brunette loved, but that love came with a price. She could not imagine what being ‘blanketed’ in it would do for the psyche. Still, she was not going to be the one to burst Guilia’s bubble, that was a lesson that came with age, experience and heartache. After losing a parent, there was no doubt she was already beginning to understand that. Poor girl, it must be terrible to lose your mother so young.
The Senshi thought for a moment about the question and then shook her head. “I can be here pretty fast. But in the meantime you should hide and be very quiet, do not move until I am there - and if you are able, make sure Aiden is hiding somewhere safe too. Do not worry about the help, or Miss Jada. It is an adult's job to make sure children are safe, not the other way around - when you are older that will be your responsibility but for now just focus on yourself.” She did not want the blonde playing hero, it was easy to get ideas in your head when exposed to the magical world -
But magic does not make you invincible or mean that fairytale logic held any merit. People still died - children included. The brunette smiled, her demeanor lightening. “Just make sure to tell me where you are hiding if you text, incase you hide too well for me!” She placed her hand on the child's head, stroking her hair for a brief second - it was not the hug that Guilia wanted, but it was all she felt able to give.
Golden eyes looked back into the night, and the Senshi began to walk away. “But I have to go, if the Youma isn’t here, then that means there is someone else that needs me.”
