"Yeah, that's just fine! I mean, you gotta go somewhere, right?"
Luc giggled a little, then grinned happily. He certainly didn't mind; it wasn't like he had a choice in the matter, anyway, unless they got into a fight, he supposed. With how quiet the other freshling seemed, though, that didn't seem like much of a problem. In truth, he'd already been separated from someone else - not because of fighting, but just because of being too rowdy! - so it was probably a good thing they'd swapped assignments and put someone
calmer into the tent with him.
"This is real exciting, huh?" he asked after a moment of fiddling with his sleeping bag for the final time. He thought for a moment, then picked up the cookie packet and slithered over towards his tent-mate, offering a sly look as he held it out towards her.
"Ya want one? They're sni-- snickerdoodles!" he declared, though he glanced towards the tent entrance after to make sure no
adults were there to hear him. "I snuck 'em in my sleeping bag, but this is s'posed to be fun, right? I'm still gonna eat a million hot dogs even if I eat a million cookies!"
