Dancing - Tobi began taking dance classes at the tender age of 10 as a result of having watched some of her late cousin's recitals. She enjoyed it so much that she's been in dance classes since. As a result, she's learned to move gracefully. Classical Ballet and Ballroom are her styles of choice when she feels the need to get down. And she will. Usually at random and in public. There's nothing quite like seeing a cute girl doing a mixture of ballet and mosh pit to some Ladybaby song in the middle of the mall simply because it felt good.
Kawaii Metal - Hello there! Have you heard of Ladybaby, Deadlift Lolita or Polkadot Stingray? No? Well, Tobi sure as s**t thinks you're missing out! Cute girls in fancy clothes doing Alt Rock/Metal is one of life's great joys. So much so that she's been teaching herself Japanese and honing her singing, dancing and sewing skills with the end goal of making it big as a Kawaii Metal Idol someday. Sure, she might be a bit too old for Japan, but nothing says she can't make her own "Cute Metal" band here in the States either. As far as she's concerned, life would be a lot more fun if it were a musical. A bizarre, screamy musical filled with lace, tulle and ribbons. She longs for the day when her random public performing creates a musical number in the street.
Sewing - In her own words, "Why should I pay that much money for a shirt when I can make my own and it'll last longer, wear better and look nicer?" Not to mention that she refuses to pay for people to make her costumes. Why line someone else's pocket when she can do it herself and enjoy more of the creative process.
Virtues:
Collected - While she'll squeal over something cute as much as the next girl, Tobi is more typically a calm, collected person, rarely giving in to panic or excitement. She would rather stay calm and analyze and plan than simply just reacting to any given situation. It's very difficult to phase her. This also carries over into her movements. Causing Tobi to stumble or trip over her own feet would be difficult given that she's always planning a few seconds ahead. If there's a panic, you can count on her to calmly direct people to the nearest exit or find the roadside flares and set them out while serenely directing traffic. And if she's the one causing the panic, you can bet she'll herd the sheep where she wants.
Play to Your Audience - Years spent in the Performing Arts could warp anyone, but Tobi would like to think that she's managed to pull the meat from that bone and leave the gristle behind. In other words, she's learned the art of pleasing without effort. Somehow, she's managed to learn on a near instinctual level what to say, how to say it and when to say it to get the best results out of people. It makes her a useful person to have around if you want to quietly gather information or coax someone into doing what you want.
Shameless - There's always at least one in every crowd. You know who I mean... one person who does whatever they feel like, when they feel like, just because it's fun or feels good. Meet Tobi. She's managed to turn acting like a complete goofball in public into something of a charming little art form. While it can be embarrassing and potentially disturbing (Hello! Metallica was never meant to accompany a Pas de Deux.), there's no real malice behind her shenanigans. She's simply enjoying herself.
Flaws:
Bitten by the Green-Eyed Monster - While she can usually hide it, Tobi shares more in common with her very dead cousin than just a love of performing. She also boasts a terrible streak of jealousy simmering just below the surface. Just about anything can trigger it from a couple enjoying an ice cream together to a classmate flaunting a new pair of shoes to a kitten frolicking in the sun. But she can usually control her jealousy so others don't see it. When it is made visible though, Tobi is as nasty and cutting as the cattiest of Lifetime Movie Steroetypes. She won't really stand for anyone being better than she is.
There Can Be Only One! - This ties into Tobi's jealousy. While she is not too liable to go all Kurgan-y on those she feels jealous of or resents, that doesn't mean that she won't actively strive to bring them down a notch or two until they're forced to admit her superiority. She's not seeking perfection. Not really. She just wants to be acknowledged as superior to the masses in all ways. While she tries to keep this tendency from showing, she doesn't always succeed and has earned a reputation as something of a b***h.
In My Own Little World - It's easy, far too easy for Tobi to get caught up in her own schemes, her own little world. Now normally, this would only result in the occasional public display of dancing or singing prowess. However, there are those times when she's prone to bursting into disturbing laughter as she imagines her enemies laid low at her feet. We won't even get into the time she forgot pants because she was so wrapped up in a plan to impress her superiors.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Wide, deep-set eyes the same bright blue-green as her cousin's,
Hair: Mid-back length, slightly curled, pale blonde with the middle to ends died in blue to green ombre and worn in slightly messy double buns with one or two cute hair clips.
Face: Heart shaped face, slightly upturned nose, average ears with two piercings each. Pale/Fair skin, usually wears a faint pink lip gloss. Thicker eyebrows.
Clothes: When not in uniforms, tends to favor lolita fashions of all types.
