He hadn't spent much time dealing with youma lately, concentrating on Negaverse agents instead, but he hadn't been able to walk by when he saw one attacking a family. He'd let the civilians escape before tempting the youma off so he could actually deal with the thing. It wasn't too hard to dust the monster overall but it had taken more running around than he'd wanted to deal with. He was going to add vines to things he wished didn't come in youma form. Running a hand through his hair he sighed and looked around for Sumi. The kitten had been with him and had jumped off his shoulder when he'd found the youma. "Sumi? It's gone, you can come out now..."

General Tourmaline was lurking on a nearby rooftop. When she had felt the youma's energy gather and spawn she had gravitated towards it, curious as to what drew the creatures out into the open other than hunger. She'd expected a scene out of a B movie; a plant monster insisting to be fed while slowly stalking after a happily ever after family. She got something better-- A senshi who seemed to have worn himself out a bit in dealing with the youma. She grinned as he called out for someone, hopping down from her perch and landing with the click of her armored heels against the asphalt. Her hands came together in a slow, deliberate clap. "Brava! Brava. Well done. You certainly showed that youma." She moved towards him with the slow, stalking confidence of a large wild cat, hoping that she'd caught him off guard enough to unnerve him even further. "Tell me, Senshi... Is that all you've got?"

Arsinoe had been about to open his mouth to call for Sumi again hoping the kitten hadn't gone far when he heard clapping behind him. Spinning around he registered two things at once. One someone was being an a*****e for no reason Two that someone was a General. Cursing to himself he straightened up and eyed the woman over. In a fist fight he could take her, probably, but given that he'd half exhausted himself with the youma and knowing what she was? "Your kind's little pets are a bit of a handful but they're not that taxing." When the words were out of his mouth he kicked himself mentally. History rinse, wash, and repeat. This was exactly how he'd gotten his ribs broken years ago.

"Just warming up, then, were you?" Her brow quirked, head cocking to the side as she watched him. There was a moment when she saw the muscles around his mouth twitch-- Regret, maybe? It was hard to tell, especially when he seemed to be so calm and collected otherwise. This was going to be fun. "Darling, that youma was nothing. It barely put up a fight. If it was really a youma that belonged to someone don't you think it would have done better? Worked harder? Performed stronger? Pets want to please their masters, don't they?" As she questioned him she stepped closer, one heel click at a time bringing her that much nearer to the senshi.

"The fact that the lot of you keep those monstrosities as pets is not something you should admit." He'd seen some following the orders of agents before but to think of them as pets? That was too much. "At least you have something in common with them though. Birds of a feather." He really didn't have the energy to take on a general and he doubted he'd get to his phone fast enough. Sumi probably wasn't going to be any help either. Which meant he should shut his mouth but it didn't seem like it wanted to listen. As the general came closer he took steps back to match hers. He'd run out of street eventually but maybe he could keep her distracted long enough for someone else to notice.

That drew a laugh from the General along with a wicked grin as she raised a hand, wiggling steel tipped fingers at the senshi in an obnoxiously deliberate wave. "Birds? No, I'm afraid it's just us cats here." Her words and the wave were the only warning given to the senshi before she attacked, striking out with a sudden slash of claws in an attempt to catch him off guard and properly test out her new weapons. The senshi talked big enough, she wanted to know if he could fight to back it. Grymoire Enhanced Weapon Effect: A scratch from Tourmaline's 'claws' stings; more than just an average scratch would, this sting feels like burning (think hand sanitizer on a paper cut) around the location of the scratch and lasts for the duration of two posts before the stinging sensation fades. Along with the extended duration of the stinging comes the loss of sensation near the scratch as well (example: a hand scratched by the claws would become tingly while burning, unable to grasp the weapon it was holding). The numbness lasts for one round turn, even as the stinging persists for the second round.

"You know curiosity killed ... s**t." His unneeded, and stupid, retort was cut short as the General came at him. He was used to them having more pronounced weapons but her clawed gloves did seem sharp. Sharp enough that even though he managed to twist out under her attached the claws cut through his sleeve and scraped across his skin. Hissing at the pain he scrambled away from her and yanked his lantern off his belt. He had to switch it out of his dominant hand as his arm started to tingle along with the sharp sting. What the hell did she have on those things? His arm was shaking as he lit one of his matchsticks and his joints protested with how tight he was holding on but he wasn't going to just let her scratch him to ribbons. Not without fighting back. He eyed the General before blowing the flame off the matchstick. "Dancing Lights!" Skye Starrfyre Attack #1a - Dancing Lights![Taking the lighting stick from his lantern he catches a bit of the flame. Holding it up to his face he breathes on the flame releasing three small orbs of fire toward his enemies. Upon contact the orbs explode Note: The explosions are more an irritation than dealing actual damage. Think getting shocked when you touch a car door] Duration: The lantern must have at least three minuets (6 posts) between attacks to refill the flame. Avoidable: Yes. The orbs float fast but they are only generally targeted in an opponets direction and can not be controlled once released. If you're nimble and fast you can get away Downside: Even Sailor Arsinoë's comrades can be hit by the orbs since he can not control where they go once released. The lantern also needs a long time to recharge between attacks

"Satisfaction brought it back, and this cat still has all nine lives." Tourmaline dodged the first of the fire orbs and was likely nimble enough to avoid the other two, given how slowly they were bobbing towards her. Call it madness, but she stopped right in the tracks of the second to simply because she wanted to know what they did. The first orb brushed her shoulder and instantly exploded, sending a zap through the heavy material of her duster that found her stepping back. She was so interested in trying to figure out the exact nature of the sensation that she shifted to step directly into the next orb so that it hit her square in the chest. The after effect of the explosion striking that area stunned her as it rocked her, nearly knocking her breath away from her. It might have been better if it had taken her breath. As it didn't she was on the attack again, taking that knowledge of his power now and running with it as she lunged, taking a swipe at the hand holding on to the lantern. If that didn't work she planned on dropping low and following up with a sweeping kick at his feet.

Arsinoe had expected his attack to miss, the base of his magic not being very strong, and had thought his best bet would be distracting her enough to run. He was shocked when the General stepped in the way of one of the orbs and then ended up catching herself with a second. The distraction was what cost him. Something he told countless students not to do. Don't get distracted because they will kill you. His stupidity cost him and her claws raked down along his arm. The sharp sting and the numbing sensation caused him to drop the lantern, cast iron making a loud clang against the pavement, and his other hand snapped around his arm as if that would help stop the sensation.

"What's wrong, firefly? No witty comebacks? No sharp remarks?" Her grin went from wild to wicked as she took advantage of his situation in order to rush him. He'd lost his weapon, he seemed out of sorts and that made it the absolute perfect time to bring her shoulder in contact with whatever soft part of him she could manage. Chest? Stomach? As long as it either took him down to the ground or slammed him against the wall, she didn't care.

"I think you're overdue for a declawing..." He glared at the General, trying to rub feeling back into his arm. The other shoulder seemed to be alright now, most of the numb sensation and the pain gone but his lantern was still on the ground. Any ideas of snagging it again were cut short as the general's shoulder collided with his ribs. She was shorter than him but that just gave her a good angle to slam him back against the shop front behind them. With a grunt he grabbed at her shoulders hoping he could shove her off while he lashed out with one foot. He didn't have a lot of room but one of his rather hard sandles and her knee wouldn't go well for her.

His words drew a laugh from her and she might have complimented him on his wit if they weren't fighting. Sure, it would be easy enough to continue toying with him-- scratches here and there, banter and play-- but he was starting to fight back and he didn't seem like he'd really appreciate a game of cat and mouse. The senshi's kick landed and she prepared for the sudden shot of pain, only to find herself pleasantly surprised that the armored guard rising from her boots took the brunt of the blow. It left her with an odd sensation instead, along with the solid thunk of sound from the wood block sandals to whatever metal it was that kept her protected. She was grinning as she curled her fingers into a fist, aiming a solid punch for the senshi's jaw.

He didn't have much time to react to his shoe clicking off her armor with how close the General was to him and how fast her fist was coming at his face. He cursed, ducking his head and wincing as he heard the metal slam into the wall beside his ear. If that had been his jaw he'd have been eating out of a straw for months. Her fist missing his face wasn't much of a plus given that it meant she had him completely cornered against the wall.

"You're determined-- I like that in a senshi." Tourmaline shoved him roughly against the wall once more. Beside his head her clawed fingertips scraped against the stone, her other hand pressing firmly against his chest to pin him in place. "It's not fun if they don't fight back." She was starting to grow tired of the game, though. If she kept playing it he'd find a way to send more magic her way and she hadn't really worked that into her plans for the evening. "I think we've had enough fun, love. I've already tasted one senshi. I wonder what you taste like." With a grin on her lips the General leaned in closer, running her tongue along his jaw as she pressed her fingers past his chest and into the cavity containing his starseed.

He snarled quietly at the generals words and would have responded, intended to respond, but her tongue sliding along his jaw threw him off. He'd had the Negaverse do some strange things to him but none of them had ever licked him before. He shuddered and would have started bitching if the General's hand hadn't buried itself in his chest. Arsinoe had seen them to do that to civilians before but didn't think he'd ever be on the receiving end of it. His jaw clenched as he felt her hand reaching for something and for a moment he couldn't think of what that would be. Until it clicked. His starseed. That's what she was going for. Scratching at her arm he tried to get a good grip on it, tried to pull her hand back, but he didn't have enough strength in his injured arm to make a difference. The pain wasn't helping matters either and he bit back a few curses as his hands clenched on her arm. As he tried to get a good grip, pull her arm out, something, he noticed another strange sensation. It felt as if his tiara was getting warm, like the gem in the center was burning against his forehead. As soon as he noticed that he noticed the same sensation along his arms. "What..." His voice cracked on the word before a wave of complete calm washed over him. It felt almost like being back on his asteroid. The way the Vigil room had felt when he'd spent the evening in it. He wondered for a moment if this was what dying felt like. The general on the other hand wasn't likely to get as nice of a sensation. The asteroid of Arsinoe was not willing to give up it's guardian to the Negaverse. As the General's fingers brushing against the starseed a wave of energy pulsed from the crystal forcing the General's hand out of the senshi's chest and propelling her out of arms reach. Arsinoe's tiara melted away leaving a bright glowing mark on his forehead and along his arms strange scrolling text appeared as if someone was writing notes on his skin.
