It was late. Much later than the Squire of Earth tended to roam but roam she did. Even the prospect of being sleep deprived at work did little to motivate her to head home, but what was one suppose to do when she wasn’t tired? Forcing herself to sleep never ended well and it wasn’t like there was anyone at home waiting for besides her dog. So, why not toil the night away while roaming the city from the rooftops?
The moon was waning. It’s cool glow was weak, and gave the rooftops an eerie feeling that was oddly welcoming to Hy-Brasil. She found herself soaking in that faint light as she stopped on top of an apartment complex. The roof, she assumed, was not something visited often if at all. It was desolate without any signs of anyone having been there recently.
Moving to perch herself on the precipice, Hy-Brasil looked down on the street below. A lone car drove past, possibly someone heading home from work, or maybe going in, but there were no other signs of life. It was...soothing to the squire as she sat there on the ledge watching. Waiting. She could feel the signature not far off. Would they give her a reason to be tired? Or would they simply ignore her as well? She had no clue, so she sat there.

Opal liked nights like this. She enjoyed the city and the scape of the stars under a waning moon. Sure, it reminded her of all the blasted Senshi there were in this universe, but she was cool with the spooky lighting. She had an itch to scratch that a power signature tugging at her senses might satisfy. She was not shy about fighting the other side and would likely not give her target a chance to make small talk.
Small talk was boring anyway.
She bounded toward the power signature, letting her powered up state fuel her to take longer bounds. Funny, she hardly got winded these days, even if she was jogging a few blocks. It didn't take long to find the Squire, though she didn't immediately recognize her as being from Earth. She leapt up, climbing to where Hy perched, looking her over with a grin.
"Now why would you be out by youself? Waiting for me, perhaps?"
"Don't flatter yourself too much." Hy responded without bothering to turn around to face the newcomer. She lifted her head to the moonlight to look at the stars above before finally turning on her seat to face the agent. "I was enjoying the solitude of the evening." She shrugged as she stood, boot heels clicking softly on the roof.
"Come to chit chat? Waste the night away?" She questioned as her weapon appeared in her hand. The smell of sandalwood following soon after the burners appearance. "Though that's doubtful." She remarked.
Twirling the incense burner once, twice, three times, Hy prepared herself for a possible attack. Either way, whether this agent intiated it or not, Hy was willing and ready to fight. So, hell or high water, there was going to be a fight. It really just came down to who would be the first to go in for the attack.

Opal was only a Lieutenant and wasn't as strong as some of her other brethren but that didn't mean she was a slouch in the fighting department. She'd had plenty of practice and wanted to keep fighting, beating down the annoying White Moon and their ever optimistic members. It was easy to tell that the newcomer was ready for a fight and she was going to give it to her.
"Oh, dear, I don't like idle chitchat."
She gave her a opponent a mean spirited smile, nodding to her and indicating that she should come closer. She wasn't going to throw the first punch, there was no reason for that, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to have fun.
The Earth Squire didn't need any more of an invitation. If the agent wasn't going to make the move, Hy-Brasil was not going to hesitate. She charged the other woman, eyes blazing, as she raised her weapon high to swing it downwards towards the woman's shoulder.
The intent was to disable her opponent right from the start. It would make things all that much easier for her.

The thrill of the game was what Opal loved. She didn't mind coming home bruised or hurt from her fights. Her cinnamon bun always patched her up and gave her a kiss for her hard work and sometimes played angry for not being there to play as well. But that was alright - at least she was doing something that made her happy.
"You won't be so happy with my hand wrapped around your starseed."
She managed to turn into the first blow, taking a lot of the force from it, even if she took the hit. It still hurt, but it could have been worse. In response, she lashed out and used their close proximity to her advantage, going for the throat with her strong hands. If she could, she wanted to wrap a hand around her throat and cut off the flow of air to her brain. It was playful in the bedroom, but also useful in combat.
Hy-Brasil's interest in the fight, any fight, was never for the pure joy of it. She had something pushing her, a need for retaliation, that fueled her to continue on and on with each encounter. She needed to take revenge. It was as simple as that, but Hy didn't much care for the word herself. What she was doing felt more important than revenge. She wanted to give back to the negaverse as much as they gave out, and if that made her feel better and also protected people then it certainly wasn't so simple as revenge.
"Go ahead and try." She growled out as she felt her blow taken and cushioned. Someone who could actually fight? Perhaps this wouldn't be as easy as she had originally thought.
A flick of the eye and a reach had Hy raising her own hand upwards to block the go for her throat. The throat was certainly one of the more delicate part of someone and tended to be an easy target when the combatant wasn't expecting it. Hy hadn't been expecting such an attack so quickly. It was ill timed, but her own hand was there, protecting the delicate location from at least a strangle hold.
With the agent so close to her, Hy-Brasil used the proximity to her advantage, not wanting to give the woman a chance to gain a strong purchase on her throat, Hy kicked up and out, aiming for legs she couldn't see but assumed were right underneath the main trunk of the agent's body.

Opal never viewed herself as being poisoned by chaos as she had been accused a few times. She enjoyed her position and her power and enjoyed being a part of the Negaverse, but only because they didn't have a stranglehold on her as they did some of their other agents. She enjoyed the freedom to be herself and to be as brutal as her little heart desired which, at the moment, was quite a lot.
She smiled as she latched into Hy's throat, though not as well or as tightly as she might have liked with a hand in the way.
"Clever b***h," she hissed.
She could still reach the veins on either side of her throat and pressed down on them. It wasn't a matter of choking her, so much as just cutting off the supply of blood and air to her brain. At the very least, it might make her lightheaded. At the most, and if Opal were lucky, the girl would pass out from lack of oxygen to the brain.
Apparently the squire had other plans, getting in a regrettable hit to her torso with her leg. The Lieutenant grunted, releasing her hold to stumble back a step. Growling, she didn't let that stop her for long, stomach smarting, and lashed out with two quick kicks of her own, aimed at Hy's legs in an attempt to get her on the ground. She was not above low blows to get what she wanted.
Hy had just started to feel the effects of Opal's grasp on her neck when the woman let go of her. Like a rush, she felt the blood flow return to normal and it gave her a temporary high but it was short lived and thankfully not terribly distracting.
The incoming attacks though were just barely noticed. She managed to avoid one leg but the other caught at just the right angle, knocking Hy's legs out from under her. "Dammit!" She yelled as she felt herself fall backwards to the ground.
She had little time to brace for the impact, but at least managed to keep her head from smacking on the asphalt, though her back took the brunt of the fall causing her to be temporarily winded and stunned. She was open for attack and damn well knew it but couldn't get her body to respond right away. It was seconds, terribly long seconds, before she could get herself into action again, using her own legs as an attempt to try and keep the agent away as she moved to sit up.

(Finished in a G-doc)
Opal was going to take the advantage while she had it, going to the squire while she was down. That was her moment and she needed to press it for all she could, despite the desperate motions to keep her away. She reached for her hair and attempted to wrap her hands in the long locks to give her leverage to slam the head into the ground. She wasn’t playing - this wasn’t some school yard fight to her. Though she wasn’t always clear on the big picture she knew without doubt that there was one and she was serving it by beating as many senshi and knights as she could get her hands on.
“A little sloppy, don’t you think?”
Her grin was malicious, betraying the fact that she was actually enjoying herself during their fight. The pain wasn’t much of a deterrent for her.
----
“Dammit!” She had been sloppy. Not that she was going to admit it aloud.
She had made a horrible mistake and she knew it. With hands twisted in her hair, Hy-Brasil was very well aware she was in a tight spot. She couldn’t do much more than grab onto Opal’s forearms and try to put counter leverage onto what the officer was trying to do, but it didn’t eliminate her head knocking into the asphalt, albeit not as bad as it could have been. It ******** hurt though!
With her life, literally, on the line, Hy went into survival mode. In an instant she rolled her legs upward with hips following and kicked her legs completely over herself in an attempt to either force the agent to let go, or, better yet, get Opal’s head between her legs. If nothing else it would create a stalemate, but Hy had the feeling she could possibly end the fight with a good twist if needed. All of that depended on if she even hit her prize.
Really, she’d be happy enough to get the damn agent off of her!
---
Opal was not prepared to have legs striking her, let alone having them wrap around her neck. She yelled, letting go of Hy’s hair and digging her nails into the skin she could find of the squire’s legs. She was not going to take this lying down, so to speak, but soon enough she was on the ground same as the other girl - wrestling with her to get back her control. She was cursing up a storm, upset to be in this position.
With Hy’s head on the ground, and unprotected as she was with focusing on something else, the Lieutenant aimed a vicious kick to her head with her boots.
“Get off of me!” She demanded. From this position she was definitely not going to get the starseed but would that matter with Hy’s brains splattered all over the pavement?
---
Ha! Success. Hy, felt her legs hit their mark and she tightened them up to hold onto the woman, pulling her to the ground with little grace. She was still in an odd position though and needed to worm her body around a bit to try and get herself in a position in which she could utilize her arms better. In the process, she felt the foot slam into the side of her head, causing her to immediately slacken her grip of the woman’s head.
“God damn!” She coughed out as tried to right herself both physically and mentally. That blow had been quite a doozy. <******** off!” She yelled out, kicking straight out to where she knew the woman was or at least had been.
Where the boot had connected, several small streams of blood had begun to trickle down her face from the bludgeon effect and any metal on the boots that had sliced her.
After her kick, Hy staggered to her feet. Her head ached from the pummeling it had taken. She wasn’t even sure if it was sweat dripping down the back of her neck or blood from when her head had slammed into the asphalt. Whichever the case, she couldn’t let her guard down yet. Adrenaline kept her going as she stood there, arms raised in defense, gasping for breath.
---
Opal immediately ripped her head out of the grip of the other’s legs, rolling away until she could get to her knees. She was breathing hard. Her side ached and she was pretty sure she’d need to go see her chiropractor for her neck, at least. The kick did not fail to miss, striking her in the back as she retreated, making her swear. Her gut said to stay and keep fighting, her head said she had a wife waiting at home that would be none too pleased that she’d spent the night fighting.
“You should learn to pick your fights better.” She spat blood at the ground, finding at some point she’d split her lip. “All you knights are good for is being someone else’s sidekick.”
All the same, she wasn’t in the mood to keep going. The girl looked done in, and she had someone waiting for her. It wasn’t a starseed, but it wasn’t a complete loss.
“Next time, I’m coming for that starseed.”
---
“Hardly a sidewalk if I am walking away.” She spat out in return, though is was far from being witty. With the fight obviously at a close with both fighters feeling the pain, one more so than the other, it seemed that they’d both get lucky enough to get home by their own means.
Hy-Brasil had to admit though, that fight had ******** hurt. God damn the negaverse and their strength.
Wiping at the blood running down her face, Hy rolled her eyes. “Right. Try harder next time if that’s your goal.”
She’d certainly be pushing herself all that much harder at the gym from now on. Cause Hy was damned if she let someone run a fight like that on her again.
Ah well, for now, she could head home and work on patching herself up. Unlike her opponent, the only one waiting at home for her was her dog and a first aid kit.
