 Static sat at the bench in the small little city park, his hands on his knees as he watched others go here and there, busy with their own lives and their own agendas. He used to think thats what it was to be an adult, the busier you were, the more of an adult you must be. After his near death experience with the space tower, the blueblood seemed to loose his energy, more interested in taking things slow and enjoying it all. Kinda ironic, after he had obtained his electric powers, it seemed he had less and less energy. Raijin, on the other hand, was getting more and more volatile. Static wanted to ask his lusus, Raijin, how he had gotten so energetic, but every time he got closer to his lusus he felt yet more tired, seemingly sapped of all his energy. Static sighed as he watched his lusus growl at someone else's parental unit.

"Huh?"
Kaldru hadn't really been paying attention; he'd been engrossed in something else besides people watching, for once. Having made a decent deal on one of his geodes, the little troll had promptly done what any kid would do with money in hand; he'd spent some of it! And so he'd been completely absorbed in eating the candy-sprinkled treat he'd bought himself, and was as such surprised when a pinch on his jaw got his attention. He tilted his head, then yelped in surprise and took a few steps back when faced with a seemingly aggressive lusus.
His own, as usual, was a collection of drones from the main hive; three soldiers were accompanying him today, each clinging to various parts of his body and all together extremely unimpressive, though one of them marched dutifully up his arm and brandished its jaws widely at Raijin, prepared to defend her duty to the very end.
"H-hey!" Kaldru fussed, not wanting to provoke anyone's parent unnecessarily - or at all, if he could help it. "Um! Excuse me! Is um - is this your lusus? Can -- Mim!"
The kilted boy huffed as the soldier on his arm grew more insistent; he tried to turn away, but the insectoid simply marched back along the limb to be as close as possible to the other lusus.

Static had been spacing out, probably not a good thing to do when it was more of him watching Raijin, instead of the lusus watching the troll. Static heard the yell and was suddenly awake again. He turned, adrenaline in his body, ready to jump run or punch whatever was happening to calm it all down. The boy's eyes bulged as he saw another troll, and his lusus, and... several drones?! The boy panicked. If his lusus had caught the aggressive attention of drones, there was no telling what sort of trouble he could get into. Drones were not intelligent, sure, but they were a vital part of troll society. They were what kept everything running. If one were to anger the drones, well things could go south very fast. Static made a noise of exclamation as it looked like the other troll child was trying to escape the grasp of the drones as well. Static was a royalist, sure, but surly this boy didn't do something so bad as to warrant being dragged away by drones.
The blueblood bit his bottom lip. Getting into something with actual authority was too much! Yet seeing a kid dragged off to who-knows-where they shove "bad" trolls was also not an option. "Wa-Wait!" The blueblood yelled, trying to get in-between the drones, his lusus, and the other troll. They just needed to talk, then they could communicate, and make things right. "Raijin? Whats happening?!"
