The moon shone brightly in the deep black sky. It was still and quiet outside in the streets, but inside however, Selina has thrown herself a little party. Disarming the cameras and alarm a long while ago, she was dancing like nobody was watching. Cause in fact, that was true. Her heels thudding mutely as she pranced around the shop, her gloved fingers with those signature claw ends grasped onto each individual shiny piece of work. Her eyes glittered like the rings and necklaces and rings that surrounded her. This was her happy place. No interruptions, no back talking stewardesses eyeing her to actually pay for these. She could scoop up each little diamond that caught her icy blue eyes. It was pure heaven on Earth for this devious kitten.
She strutted over to a seat with a handful of her stolen goods and piled them carelessly on the glass case in front of her, the only one she hasn't broken into, yet. Kicking back and leaning the chair to it's balance point, she joyously tries on each item with glee. "A kiss on the hand, may be quite continental. But diamonds are a girl's best friend!" She sang in a cheery fashion to herself with a big mischievous grin plastered on her angled face. Lingering her slim, cloaked fingers across each stud of the sparkling necklace that she clasped around her neck, she sighed in ecstasy. "Such true words are rarely spoken." She hummed to herself and only herself. Although, things were pretty abnormally quiet so far. This could only mean her fun would be broken up quite soon. She huffed like a bratty child before grabbing her black dufflebag and began to fill it to the brim with her new assortment of accessories. Quite a good haul today, if she did say so herself!

【"Aren't you funny?. Pathetically nai've and desperate to believe."】
Mas murder in the park? Major theft at the Jewellers? Why not, it was Gotham, one of the only cities in America mostly populated by Psychopaths and lunatics who were somehow allowed to parade around with magical powers. If it were up to her, they would all be safely tucked away in Arkham by now, luckily for them she wasn't commissioner yet. When Renee had signed up for the police force she had known her job would be nothing normal, but sometimes the things people were capable of doing shocked her too the core, and left her speechless (which was a rare occurrence) and tonight was one of those nights. Not two hours ago, nearly twenty people had died in the park, and now thieves were taking advantage of the quiet streets to rob local shops. Specifically the Jewellery store. Montoya's partner had been assigned to the park, much to her annoyance, and so she had been given the task of apprehending a notorious thief. Not as exciting as a homicide where she specialised but still.
Renee took a team of officers with her as it was extremely likely that the suspect would be "armed and dangerous". Not that she couldn't take care of herself of course, she just liked to be cautious. They arrived quickly, the streets empty with fear. Gotham was a ghost town; they hadn't even needed the siren. She armed herself, taking care not to forget anything or make any hasty movements. She wanted this to be smooth. Renee wondered who this would be. They had disarmed the cameras before they could see the footage, and since this was an independent store they only had cameras which provided a live stream- which was fantastic.The alarm had blared in the shop however, alerting the police.
"Keep quiet" Montoya directed pulling her gun up in front of her as she neared the door. She motioned for two officers to accompany her, before she kicked the doors open. The shop was beautiful and large, and a complete shambles. Jewellery lay carelessly strewn across the room, glass was broken and the floor was a mess. On the far side of a room, a woman in a skin tight leotard and mask was stood filling a bag full of jewels which she was quite clearly planning on stealing. Renee noticed the ear like shapes on top of her head, when it clicked. "Catwoman, I am arresting you on 'suspicion' of major theft. You do not have to say anything. Anything you do say can and will be held against you," She recited rhythmically holding her gun in the woman's direction, not aimed anywhere lethal however, she would never intentionally kill someone unless she had just reason to. "Put down any weapons and put your hands behind your head," She continued, though forever doubting that the villainess would comply with her demands, unless she was in the mood for a ride in the police car. The pair had never met, though she had heart stories, seen news reports - that kind of thing. Her finger hovered over the trigger, preparing for the worst case scenario,

Her relaxing even has now turned sour. How lovely. With a violent bang, a door behind her kicked open abruptly. The crook wanted to scoff and just instruct them to ******** off, but that simply was just not going to happen. Slowly turning to face the group of police, Selina swung the zipped bag over her shoulder, and placed the opposite hand on her hip in a cocky manner. Whoever the chick was, she droned out the usual speech, the cat just rolled her eyes and waited for her speech to be complete. Why oh why can't she just have a little fun? Someone always has to come in and spoil it. Well, she supposed she would have to slip out of here quick enough, she debated whether or not she would have to take down a couple of the brutes to do so.
"Well, that was absolutely riveting. I mean, that emotion was just-" Selina tapped a hand to her chest mockingly. "Really, sweetie, the Oscar goes to you." She finger gunned over in the brunette's direction with a sly wink. At the assumption that she would voluntarily put down her weapons, The blonde giggled cheekily. Pointing to her whip and then to her guns, she looked sarcastically innocent before jokingly confirmed what she needed to put down. "You mean these right? Cause believe me honey, this body can be quite the weapon. Just ask around town." Letting a sly chuckle pass her lips, she made swift movements. "This guy knows what I'm talking about, right?" The minute the word right escaped, she snatched her whip, quick as lighting and shot it out to loop around the barrel of the random officers hand gun.
Once it was secured, she yanked it back. In a flash, she dropped her bag to the floor below her and held the pistol in her hand with a smirk plastered on her face. "How come he got to keep his gun up though? I find that to be very unfair." She tsked a couple times for good measure before raising that gun at the officers in front of her. Just as the captain was doing, no vitals were targeted, she mainly wanted diversions. Although, if things got too testy, she may up the stakes. "Now, we can do this nice and simple! Minimal damage to us all. Then there is also the not so simple way, where you all get hurt. I'm voting for simple. Anyone in compliance can say 'I'." She urged them to make the next move. A few steps to the right were tested, the gun still pointed up, but her movements were very calm and collected. This was a regular walk in the park on a Sunday afternoon for her.

Renee watched the woman closely. Watched her every move. She was surprised that she didn't really give any reaction to the police showing up, it was odd, and the woman in the cat suit was way too casual for her liking. It was unnerving and almost undermined everything Renee was trying to do simply because she looked as though she didn't give a s**t, and it bothered her. What sent her over the edge was her words. They were sarcastic and annoying, and Montoya had no time for smart mouths. Renee sighed, pointing her gun once again at her. "Yes, I mean them" She confirmed, despite the sarcasm. If she was going to act like a child, she would be treated like one also.
Renee did nothing as she pulled the gun from her colleagues hand, merely gesturing for him to get behind those who still had weapons. "Do you wanna take off that mask? It's hot in here," She suggested, aiming her gun at her leg. She didn't want to seriously injure her if it came to it, she simply wanted to have her detained.
Renee looked the woman directly in the eyes as she pointed the gun at them. There was a moment of silence before she spoke again, at which point Renee sighed. "We are officers of the GCPD and we have rights to bare arms against criminals like you," She retorted, the tone of her voice showcasing her obvious annoyance. The woman continued however, telling them how things were going to go, and Renee was having none of it.
"No," She began. "This is how it's going to go," She paused for a moment, before firing a warning shot that flew just a few inches in front of her face before hitting the wall behind her. "You're going to put down your weapons, and place your hands above your head where I can see them, no funny business or the next time this gun is shot you won't be so lucky,"

Selina was very much in to the firecracker ways of this young officer. Even with her retorts and pokes, she stood firm and never dropped her guard. It was admirable, useless, but admirable. She could see this going a couple of ways here. With the thought of escape rambling on in her head, she also felt that she could toy with the situation a little more. It has been a slow few months for her. The kitty could use a little cat and mouse. A question that surprised her, was the request for her to remove her mask. Quite strange, but she would oblige. Reaching up and grabbing the back of her mask, Selina pulled it forward and over her head. What was revealed were her silky blonde locks and icy blue eyes. Those eyes held a bit of controlled chaos, like a glass container full of angry bees. They scanned across the room and gave a sly wink to the group in front of her. "It's so hard to hide this kind of beauty. I understand." She boasted.
When her complaint was addressed, Selina scoffed and rolled those gorgeous sky hued eyes. A 'criminal like her'. What she really wanted to do was laugh straight in her face. The police were no better than her in most cases, but let's not get into that now. She had a mission, and he needed to fill her mind with some entertainment. Her first test was very exhilarating. After taunting her with her own version of the outcome of the predicament, she watched as the deputy retorted. A loud bang followed by the rush of wind that flew past her cheek, ended with a crack in the wall behind her. Firing warning shots, are we? How dangerous! A large smirk crept it's way onto her exposed lips. "Well, well, well, getting frisky are we? This is pretty exciting. All these threats and demands! You certainly know the way to my heart." Snickering towards the end, she kept her gun held up for a few moments. Now while it would be riveting to keep this little standoff going for a little while longer, she knew it would only make the woman more prone to harsh actions that would end the fun too early.
Sighing, she lowered her weapon and raised her free hand. Might as well take this fun on the road. Slowly crouching down to place the gun on the floor below, she casually returned to her standing position and let her eyes rest of her foe for today. "I suppose then, if that's how you wanna be about it, let's head out then." She stated simply, a small smile laced on her lips. "Plus, I don't want to have to scrub blood out of my suit. Too much work." She chuckled lightly before nodding over to her bag of goodies below her. "Don't forget about the evidence either!" She reminded sarcastically as she awaited the woman's reaction to her sudden change of heart.

The officer watched as she slowly removed her mask. She wasn't trying to hide her identity then which was odd, most of these so called 'super-villains' were 'masters of disguise' and whilst it was impressive to the fans it was simply another barrier against Renee in her usually hectic job. Montoya stared down the woman uncomfortably, resisting the urge to break eye contact. This woman was fierce, and extremely confident. Extremely.
After Renee fired the warning shot, the woman did not seem phased. In fact she seemed to find the entire situation wholly amusing. There was a glint in her eye which Montoya would gladly crush if given the chance. "You think this is funny? I'm not the one who tried to rob a store dressed in a fancy looking morph suit and heels" She retorted in anger. The nerve...
Renee was confused when she willingly put down her weapon. This was most unusual- especially due to her earlier actions. She had been expecting a fight or worse. It was too easy and she didn't trust the situation but they would have to go along with it, if they could get her in cuffs and inside the police car, chances were they could get her to a cell before she tried to escape. But she looked slippery, perhaps she wore a leotard for a reason - quick escapes.
Renee signalled her officers forward to apprehend her which they did suspiciously smoothly. Renee kept her gun in her left hand and spoke into her radio. "We've got her, bring the car round," She instructed, warily glancing to the woman. "Weapons ready, just in case," Renee told the other officers before she led the way out of the door and towards a police car.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxMínɡwánɡ (冥王) Descend darkness, the large sphere that separated the earthlings and the great beyond, that sphere illuminated the surrounding land. Gotham, forever to be the land of chaos and absolute disorder. This was soon to be her first trial, she had already made her mind to follow this path of life and for a good reason. Xiao knew that the life of a criminal was nothing but risk and dangers, regardless of her tech, Xiao was undeniably human. She was no Superman, no Flash, nothing extraordinary. A simple geeky child who's doing whatever she sees necessary to save her love one. Her target was in sight, stationed on the rooftop a building facing the Diamond Store. Below she could clearly see the Police Cruisers parked near the entrance. "Kidding me, someone's already robbing this place?!" She cursed under her breath after speaking, what sort of unjust God would not allow her first dibs? Is there some site where she had to sign up for it, some sort of Villain-Robbing.com?! It didn't matter, if she had to fight off someone then it wouldn't be too hard. With the cops already in the area, she could use the opportunity to her advantage, heck, they might even give her a reward! Xiao quickly made her way down from the rooftop building and towards the streets below, thankfully her outfit allowed her to blend easier in the shadows that existed at night. It didn't take long for Xiao to reach near the shop, crouching behind one of the police cruisers. "Alright, going to make this entrance super badass...Need a theme song, what's a good theme song..." The Child whispered to herself, the artificial left eye emitting a dim light and a single Hologram Projection hovering in front of her. Xiao had skills outside of her usage of robotics, skills that made her both threatening and downright an annoyance, one of these skills she was preparing to display. Through the Hologram Projection, Xiao made her work by accessing the radio signals carried by the Law Enforcement within the shop, this also extended onto the radio located in their vehicles. A few seconds of tapping at the Hologram screen, communication connection of the cop's radio and car radio was disconnected, instead, something else would boom out from the speakers. An old song would come out from the radio's all in sync. Xiao smirked at her work, to her this was the perfect song to make her entrance. Exactly 54 seconds into the song, Xiao would swing the door open with her right hand exactly when the group from within was presumably making their way out. "你好! The one and only Mínɡwánɡ is here to capture your su— What the hell is going on here." She ruined it! She ruined her perfect entrance! Did they seriously already catch the bad guy!? Xiao body slouched slightly forward, her left arm hanging loosely as she eyed each individual present. Cops, Cops, more Cops, and...Some Cosplayer? "Who's the Black Cat with the questionable sexual orientation? I seriously hope I didn't jump into some kinky BDSM foreplay.." A portion of her wanted to believe she hadn't, but since there were Diamond pieces missing from the stance...A majority of her knew that this chick was the baddie. Unlike the Black Cat, Xiao still had her appearance somewhat hidden. Fake white hair, the majority of her face hidden by the turtleneck and scarf, only her eyes would be visible. On her person was a series of pouches attached by belts around her waist, hips, and leg. What each of these pouches held was nothing more than handguns along with ammunition, one held her phone, and the other had a black bag filled with extra nanobots. The newcomer, Xiao, stood 3-meters in front of the group of Cops and Black Cat. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ██████ Outfit ▻ Plutus ██████ Company ▻ Cops and Black Cat ██████ Mood ▻ Understandably Confused ██████ 复仇女神 (Nemesis) Status ▻ Functionable ██████ Theme ▻ X██████ Translation ▻ Hello! ██████ OOC ▻ Hope it's okay if I have fun too!

Renee herself watched as the feline was apprehended and restrained. It had all been too easy- way too easy. Montoya had never worked on a case with a villain this high profile that had been over so quickly. "Watch her closely, take away any weapons- chances are she's planning something," Renee said calmly rooting through her pockets for her radio. It was then that the music started playing through the device. Something else was happening- was this the cat woman? Renee shook her head and turned to another officer. "I don't think this was her," she concluded- as she had been restrained before it had even begun, though she may not have been working alone. This was odd. "Stand your guard, don't let her out of your sight Wilson," She ordered, holding her gun at the ready.
Around a minute later the doors of the shop swung open and yet another woman in all black burst through. Renee turned to face her quickly, pointing the gun and aiming. Another officer spoke this time. "We should ask you the same question," He said to her, lowering his gun. Renee was unsure, she didn't quite trust her. "Were you involved in the robbery of this store?" She asked the woman, lowering her weapon only slightly. What was it with Gotham and people who liked dressing up and making her life ten times harder?

Vigilante? Or Villain. The question that Renee had been asking herself for so long, annoyingly. She could deal with the bad guys, because that was all they were. Bad. They wanted something material like money, or... jewels. But the vigilante was harder to deal with. They had abilities far from ordinary, and used them to fight crime without the police. Problem was, they'd kill to get what they wanted. Destroy buildings, or even cities to defeat the bad guys. Honestly, sometimes it was in everyone's best interests to let a diamond get stolen in order for the street to stay in tact and it's inhabitants to stay alive. Questioning her moral code day in and day out was not what she had signed up for.
Renee sighed before responding to the girl. "Then what are you doing here?" She demanded lowering her weapon when she held her arms up in... surrender? Renee was but slightly confused by the whole situation. The officer frowned as she began to make her requests. "Yeah sure, take as many as you need, it's not like they belong to anyone or anything, be my guest, shoot," Renee spoke sarcastically, before motioning to her officers to detain her should she try and take the jewels. She stood with her arms crossed waiting to see what she would do.

So this definitely left her with no other choice. Tonight was her first night, a novice that decided to walk these shoes for the sake of the only person who loved her. Xiao knew deep inside that her next action would determine her future, all it would take was a single command, one action that would not only decide her fate but Logan's faith. It's simple, a simple action, a single command, one choice. So why did her body refuse to take action? Xiao simple stood there with a blank expression for a few seconds. Strange girl clad in black closed her eyes for a brief moment. Xia—no, for now, Xiao wasn't here. She only needed the items, she didn't need a big gun brawl with the cops, worse case scenario is more of them showing up. Although, she could simply disrupt radio communication. Either way, if she was going to do this effectively she'll have to do it quickly. "She sounds serious Detective." she said sarcastically, then turned to the other figure in black. "Aren't you kitten? Death is a lot more permanent than a little jail time for larceny. Any Cat would know.. " she looked her up and down, her voice had sounded feminine. "So either you are a kitten" she smiled. "Or you're desperate, or just plain stupid. I wonder which it is." she mused towards the black clad female. It didn't really matter if some of the jewels went to the strange kitten, there was always more she could take later. She had a pretty solid plan for stealing the rest of the evidence once it was taken into custody but If there was gunfire-- well she'd have to improvise a little.

Renee scowled at the crook. "I think we need to define the words 'want' and 'need'," She said calmly, holding her weapon readily. She visibly noticed the change in this woman's demeanour, which made her even more wary of her. "If you want them so badly, why don't you come back tomorrow and pay for them," She suggested, knowing that she probably wouldn't take her up on the offer. Gotham was a hotspot for crime, she wondered if people across the country believed that the police merely let them get away with it. Well if they did, they were wrong. Not with Commissioner Gordon in charge, crime wouldn't prevail. And they had batman.
Renee shot a glance towards the Catwoman as she spoke. "I don't have time for this, disarm her and take her to the station," she said, merely ignoring her words. Why would she listen to a criminal? There's no way she'll convince a cop to simply let her take the diamonds like this, heck she didn't even have the money to even buy them in the first place. Every other method of gaining the funds for Logan's health would take too long, this was the quickest and most effective way to do so, but....Xiao had never considered herself a villain, playing the part was like a Turtle becoming a Lion. The process was difficult, she was hesistant but her hands were empty. She'll have to do this the hard way, the only effective way that she knew would be the only possible way. With her arms lowered, Mínɡwánɡ's eyes followed the officer that approached her, she was trained enough to understand human weakness. Her technology provided her the benefit of physical condition, for this situation? Speed 复仇女神 (Nemesis) improved her body to a higher level than a normal human being, her speed being improved to allow her to keep up with sports cars with ease. Accelerating this quick with such a small distance between herself and the approaching officer, it wouldn't be a surprise if she had simply either vanished from sight or moved as an indistiguishable blur. Regardless, Mínɡwánɡ's right palm would find itself against the officer's chest, a successful hit would undoubtfully launch the male towards the officers on Renee's left and potentially knocking them unconscious via the migrating force sent from the first officer through the rest. Mínɡwánɡ body slouched forward slightly after coming to a sudden stop, her right hand hanging loosely in front of her with her left extended outward. She kept her eyes on the detective, the small group of officer's she had hopelly managed to handle would ended up resting uncomfortably against a wall on the far end of the shop. The girl in black held the same air of hostility about her, technology improving her biology made her a perfect threat against standard targets. Yet, the girl didn't go for any killing blows despite clearly having both the skills and tools to do so. Killing? That was the absolute line she wouldn't cross, she only wanted currency not blood on her hand. Her brow were bent inward before she answered to both the detective and black-cat. "I"m being stupid... But Mínɡwánɡ is a fitting monicker for me." Once more moving her limbs at apex speed, the female clad in black reached for her weapon, a single handgun held in her right hand and pointed towards the remaining officers. The following shots were percisely aimed at both of their kneecaps, not entirely lethal but good to cripple them and "free" the black-cat woman. "Fifty-fifty? Is what villains say, right?" She kept her attention on the detective despite her previous shots, fully prepared to execute any evasive actions if necessary. She wasn't the best at being a villain, but someone with more experience could prove useful, right?
