This booth seems to be... buzzing... Literally. Upon further inspection, the booth seems to be hosting an actual hive of bees inside it. The little troll manning the booth seems very excited to be there. Aside from the bees bumbling about the booth, the table has a variety of fliers and prizes set out for any participants that manage to complete the booth's task.

        Dance Dance Communication!
It seems Apibom wants you to communicate with their lusii! Following the diagrams provided, the goal is to dance for the bees in order to communicate where they need to go to pollinate different flowers. Api has already gone through the trouble of locating good flower fields for you to send them to! All you have to do is tell them where to go. Simple, right? Maybe.

        Instructions:
Roll 1d20 to determine your success!
        • 1-5 --> The bees did not understand what you were saying... are you sure you read the diagram right?
        • 6-10 --> You did your best and a few of them seemed to get it. They spent the next five minutes dancing among themselves to translate to the others. It didn't go well.
        • 11-15 --> It took a while, but you managed to communicate where to go!
        • 16-20 --> Wow, you're a real bee communication pro! Api is so proud of you.
        • Each post should contain a roleplay response to the score you get- minimum of 50 words to count, and you could win a prize for being super funny!

        Prizes:

Chiara Moteku

11-15 --> It took a while, but you managed to communicate where to go!

Chiara had seen the booth and immediately made a bee-line for it. Of course! The one bloodfest she decided not to recruit for dance battlers some other troll was setting up a dance booth, probably trying to scalp her clients! The blueblood marched up to the booth, a glare evident on her face, and she came up short. Chiara sighed in relief. This was obviously not a dance recruitment booth, but, the blueblood though to herself, with a evil grin, she could hang around and steal this troll's prized dancers.

The blueblood went up to the booth to find the booth owner and asses the competition. "Oh..." Chiara could not help but say, kinda disappointment by her "competition". A yellowblood, and a kid to boot. Oh well, she could intimidate kids as well as anyone else, it just didnt have that satisfying feeling compared to intimidating her peers. "So, what is this? A dance to-" Chiara finally read the sign, "-dance to bees?" Weirdo, the blueblood thought to herself. Might as well give it a try, tho her expectations were defiantly low. Dance with bees? First the troll race decided to use animals to raise their young, and how bugs to dance with?!

When Chiara finished her dance, a kink in her neck of annoyance at having to even deal with some stupid bug. She approached the booth attendant again. "So, what is this supposed to accomplish? This, "dancing with bugs"?

1-5 --> The bees did not understand what you were saying... are you sure you read the diagram right?

Cynril was static about bloodfest in general. He was taking a break from tending his booth and decided to visit some. Dance Dance Comunication caught his attention and, after hearing the rules, he tried his hand at it. How hard could it be? Upon being handed a music diagram of some sort, the child stared at it intensively. He didn't know how to read.

So Cynril tried his best to communicate by making buzzing sounds-- all to fail miserably because the bees didn't seem to understand what the hell he was saying.

Well... He could always try again.

When Kaldru saw a familiar face, he was ecstatic, but the concept of the booth seemed silly. What kind of lusus communicated through dance?! Didn't they buzz, or something...? He read over the instructions thoroughly, but it would seem as though his attempts were mostly in vain, not to mention in pain to a degree!

How did he end up upside down, anyway? This wasn't in the diagram... Maybe he'd tried to embellish his dance a little too much. He'd have to ask his lusus; surely she'd know how to communicate with buzzbeasts, right?

Calida Opalus

When Cali had seen her friend's booth, she was more than excited to give it a go! She looked at the diagram, but it really didn't make too much sense to her. She gave it a try and...... nothing. No response. Once she was done she gave Api a sheepish smile. "Guess I'm not very bilingual," She giggled. "Those candles are so pretty though, I'm going to win one no matter what!"

Psykgi Mentha

A bug communication booth? Psykgi couldn't resist - she just couldn't resist. How could she? It wasn't often she found another troll with a swarm lusus! At least, thats what she inferred, considering the instructions. She had so many questions! But first, chatting! Dance? She decided to try...

However, apparently cockroach did not translate well to bee. Then again, there weren't many cockroaches with her at the moment - it happened. The swarm did it's own thing, and there were many things to occupy it here, including herself.

"I'll come back... and I'll bring a proper swarm next time!" she said, mostly to herself. Yes... recruit Ma'am to talk to a swarm of bees. That couldn't go wrong.

Oh how exciting! Bloodfest! People everywhere, things to do, stuff to see, bees to dance with. Api was having a right good time. People seemed to be a little confused by their booth at first, but once they got into the rhythm of it they were having a good time. Right? Right. They hadn't paid Chiara much mind when she had first come up to the booth. It was impolite to stare, after all. But, she seemed to have a question before getting started. "Yes ma'am! Dancing with bees." Api beamed up at her, completely oblivious to any ill thoughts she might be having.

After her round with their lusii, she seemed a little... less than enthused. Still, Api maintained their pleasant smile and turned their full attention to her. After all, she was a highblood! She deserved their full attention. "It's for fun, miss! Bees communicate by dancing to one another, so the goal is to communicate where to go to the colony by dancing in a pattern they'll understand." Api nodded along as they spoke, hands miming along with what they were saying. "You did a very good job!"

As much as they wanted to just give this lady their full attention, they couldn't help but notice their friend Calida! They waved at her and nodded - still smiling, "I'm sure you'll do it! Practice makes perfect!"

Chiara Moteku
Chiara clenched her jaw. This little kid was being chipper while she was trying to ruin their day. The blueblood scowled a little, as the yellowblood spent unnecessary time on other lowbloods. The blueblood spent a few minutes digging in her pocket, both looking for something, and giving herself a second to cool down. Finally, Chiara found the card she was looking for. The blueblood turned back to the yellowblood, and forced a smile onto her face. "Hey, do you mind helping me out?" Chiara winked at the troll, saying "I promise it'll be worth your time!" The blueblood slapped down the card, complete with her phone number and hive address. "If you find any trolls who really dance well, how about you write that down." Chiara raised her eyebrows, "Ookay? Ill be back tomorrow, write down what you learn, ill be asking about it."

Reisio stopped still in front of the strange, but visually appealing booth. There wasn't quite a scent of the waxy sweetness at the counter, but the way that the buzzing filled their ears and the pollen filled their nose was intrusive enough.

"Dancing.... For bees." They mumbled. Reisio stuck their hands in their pockets and hummed, looking sideways at their sibling. "Should we dance for bees?"

"Dancing for Bees," they read aloud in time with their sibling. They looked about for the bees in question, but eventually settled on the glittery jars of bright yellow honey.

Oisier pulled their attention away from the distractingly pretty treats to respond to Reisio. Their head inclined slightly in acknowledgement. "I believe we should, Reisio. Let us dance for the bees."

"Yes! Very good." Reisio gave Oisier a decisive thumbs up and walked to the booth. Upon closer inspection, they realized without a doubt that a hiveworth of bees was clumped behind the counter. They looked around for Flatparent - just in case. Bees were cute and fuzzy, but they were a colony. A veritable blanket of bees. Their lusus was there, along with Planariant, and of course Oisier was there as well. Just a few conglomerates of troll and lusus, hanging out.

"Hello," Reisio stated, and began to dance.

It was a mild success. A few bees joined in on the dance party, but they were highly unproductive. There would be no honey. Reisio was sure that they would have done better if they had danced with their twin. A small frown drew upon their lips, growing into something rather dour and pathetic. Their good eye cast to the side, to the ground, and then back up.

"You go now." They mumbled to Oisier.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Oisier nodded to Reisio as the latter looked back towards their sibling and their respective lusii. Oisier returned the thumbs-up in kind. With a completely blank expression, they watched Reisio dance for the bees.

They certainly did that. The bees, however, didn't seem terribly receptive to the display. Oisier frowned a little harder than normal and made to take their place on the stage. They laid a hand on Reisio's shoulder as they passed each other. "I have learned from your performance, Reisio. The combination of our knowledge will most certainly succeed."

Oisier gave a polite little bow to the bees and performed their dance. Surprisingly, perhaps to everyone but Oisier and their doting lusus, they hadn't been wrong in their assertion. Oisier's boots clicked rapidly across the floor as they shuffled their feet for the bees. The bees responded in kind, first individually, and then together as a mass. Soon the swarm was sent off to work, pollinating the local flora.

Oisier jumped off the stage looking a little winded, but pleased--relatively speaking. They bowed again to the bees as an afterthought, but quickly made a beeline scampered towards the booth counter to claim their prize. They scooped up a jar of honey and, as an afterthought, a couple of candles. They tucked the candles into their satchel, but returned to Reisio with the jar outstretched.

"A trophy for our victory. It is appropriately golden."

Reisio was heartened by Oisier's words. They were right, after all. Oisier always had a mind for this sort of thing, while Reisio was more inclined to feel things out. Their intelligence in the face of bee dancing was staggering. And it certainly paid off, as the bees became incredibly productive in no time at all. Reisio clapped their hands together, suddenly enthusiastic about their own lackluster performance as though it was a warmup for the main event.

"Excellent... It is positively luminous! We are winners." They reached forward and put both hands on the jar. It was unclear whether they were going to take the prize from Oisier or merely hold it with them for a moment, but after a long pause they took the honey and hugged it to their own chest. Reisio turned to the booth owner. "We'll be back. Thank you for your singularity."

Api blinked, internally they fretted about the scowl- had they said something to displease her? Oh, that was no good at all. But, instead of anything bad happening, she seemed to occupy herself with digging around in her pockets for something. The forced smile she wore when she looked back at them did not escape their notice, but they definitely weren't going to say anything about it. They perked up at the question, immediately nodding. "Oh, of course! I'd love to be of um--" The word disappeared right as they went to say it- oh, crap, what was it?? "Um-- of help!" Not... what they were looking for but it did the job. They jumped slightly as she slapped her card down, but slowly reached out to take it, eyes scanning over the contents for a moment before they looked back up at her. "Okay..! I can do that for you, no problem...! Enjoy your night." Api beamed once more, then leaned to one side to see who else had come.

A set of twins! Api hadn't ever seen twins before. How were they going to tell them apart...? They watched the peculiar pair do their dances, one better than the other but... probably because they'd watched. "Thank you for participating! We'll be waiting for your return." Api waved after the two of them, admittedly confused by the 'singularity' thing but they shrugged it off.

Oh! One of them had danced really well. Api grabbed a pen to write down the troll's symbol and blood color for the blueblooded lady.

Dancing for bees? Poe was a little unsure of how that really worked, but dancing could be fun. He never was particularly good at it, but with a diagram surely he could manage. He wiggled his body accordingly, hoping the insects would look favorably on his movements. It was a little embarrassing, but he did his best!
"Wow, they actually followed that?" He beamed, and watched them fly off in the direction he'd danced about. He picked up his prize, some candles and a jar of honey, and wondered if his lusus would like the honey. Do woolbeasts eat honey? "Incredible!" he said, holding his prizes close.
