Profile: Connie is different, she is a first-generation doll. She was purchased at a store by a nice old Litch man. He had lost his wife, they were never able to have children of their own due to being infertile and both supporting the idea that bringing a battery in to help them would somehow lose some of the meaning. They had both talked about adopting a child, but had never gotten around to actually getting one. Every attempt at adoption fell through and the woman died without children. Connie was but a freshling when the man came to get her. She had refused many families, since she felt no desire to have one, she was not normal in that regard. However she thought him kind and could tell he was in pain so she went with him. During her junior year the old man passed away (this happened SUPER recent when she is created) leaving Connie with a substantial estate but no one to spend time with. This didn't bother Connie in fact nothing did. For reasons unknown to her, she had never felt anything, happy, sad, angry, fearful. She could portray the emotions outwardly she could smile, or make herself cry, but she felt nothing underneath. Inside she felt as hollow as she knew she was. Going to school since a freshling she had exposure to all types of races none of which she had a problem with, though she seemed more in tuned with those that show less emotions; other dolls and litches for example. Connie loves film, she loves movies and television and firmly believes that if she studies enough movies she herself will be able to "feel" (act) normal, and she will be seen as normal. She chose her house accordingly, however she finds it hard in Arkham to find others that can really relate to her, since most seem quite passionate. Connie intends to make her own movies, to be able to be as close to the action as possible. She spends most of her time behind the lens of her camera filming others without their permission to later inspect and try to mimic normal behavior. Living now in the dorms is a weird change that has forced the recluse doll to become more social and open her up to possibility of friends she didn't have before as she was very sheltered and kept to herself before the mans death. Connie has never been caught filming anyone but that is a plot point I intend to fill.
TIMELINE:
Old man met his wife as children she lived to about 200 years old.
They had attempted adoption and it fell through.
The woman passed and for nearly 100 years the man wanted to be alone.
He never intended to purchase a doll and went to the shop simply to see what the hubub about the new technology was.
Upon seeing his wifes eyes in the little doll the man felt stricken as if his wife was telling him he no longer had to be alone.
He was with Connie nearly ten years before his passing. (AS LONG AS THIS DOESN"T BREAK THE SHOP TIME FOR DOLLS)

Since she doesn't cry or yell due to having no emotions she dislikes when others do it. She can mimic crying or yelling in herself but this doesn't bother her. While being intreauged and wanting to know more she feels inwardly disgusted by it. Like emotions somehow are gross and a weakness she longs to understand. While she wishes she could feel them that is only to the extent that she wishes to be normal. Otherwise she thinks they would be a hindrance and often feels disgusted by strong emotions. If she could have her way everyone would be like her without emotions. The she would feel normal. NOTE: This did not bother her as a freshling and only recently after her fathers passing bothers her. This is a new inner turmoil she lives with. The reason why is explained in the rp prompt better.
Strengths: Objectivity: Connie can view a situation without any bias, she makes a good judge on most subjects.
"Raw" Tallent: Connies films tend to come out well, though she's had no formal training she is able to understand the camera better than the subjects in front of her.
Faults: Unattached: Connie has a hard time retaining friends or any sort of relationship, though she tries her best re-laying gratitude is not her strong suit.
Vain: Connie believes herself to be the most beautiful thing in existence, not because she "feels" that way, she thinks data wise her height, body proportions, and features when added together make her in the top 10%.
RP Prompt: "Something has just reminded your Nightmare of a poignant memory. What was it, and what was the memory?"
Connie sat on a park bench looking at the world through the lens of her handy camera, the one thing that never leaves her side. Spying is a word some would use for what she was doing but since she had no particular target she called it "watching". That was when she saw it, an elderly Litch with a young doll. Connie let her camera zoom in on the two remembering the man who had rescued her from a life of waiting. Remembering sitting at the store while the others went home. She had a suspicion then that she would never be chosen that her inability to bond with the families that came in would make her refuse them all. All who asked to take her home were met without a word but with a single sharp nod of refusal. That was until the old man came up to her, he said she had his wife's eyes, and he instantly began to cry. Crying didn't use to bother Connie, not till after the Mans death when she was forced to watch so many Cry over the death of a man they had never so much as came to visit all in hope that he would leave them money. He didn't he left Connie everything which is why yelling now bothers her too. Not back then not when he was alive, he never yelled and hardly every cried. She knew he was someone to be trusted and if anyone was going to take her home he was the one. "I can't promise to love you." She remembers saying to him, to which he gave a small smile. He never seemed to care that she couldn't feel, not even when he died. He loved her the way she was. Connie zoomed out, she wondered if that little doll was like her, or if the old man was like him. She didn't ask questions though she just sat behind her lens and watched.
