Jade couldn't remember the last time she had spent any time with her boyfriend that wasn't work related and as far as the woman was concerned, that was unacceptable. The hype and disaster of Anthemusa had died down and Renegade Media was now profiting from the positive-media stream of her new videos, a pleasant buzz of happy followers who were delighted to see their favorite YouTuber fresh faced and healthy.
Plus, she'd brought in new talent. A lovely woman with remarkable musical talent when it came to the string instrument she skillfully commanded with a confidence that even Jade, who was used to being proud and getting what she wanted, was impressed with.
As far as she was concerned, she had earned alone time with her boyfriend.
So, she showed up at his office, waving aside the secretary's protests when she pushed open his door. She was wearing a skirt that showed off her long legs, ending mid thigh so that it was long enough to cover everything important and still show off enough, a v-neck and sweater combo and had done up her make up to be soft and subtle but clearly that she'd done enough work.
"Mr. Drummond," she said, a teasing lilt to her voice as she slipped in, easing the door shut behind her. "I believe I have a very important appointment with you today."

Mr. Drummond looked up from the notes he was scrawling on a notepad with one hand, past the screen of his open laptop, to the young woman sauntering in through his office door uninvited. If it had been anyone else that had barged past his mousy secretary, he might have had an entirely different expression on his face. As it was, he contained his amusement behind a dark smirk and watched the long legs unabashedly as they swept toward him. The pen in his hand toppled with a soft thud and roll, forgotten atop the yellow paper. “Do you?” Both of his eyebrows rose while he made a show of clicking through the calendar tab of his outlook program, bringing up a multi-colored day of appointments and blocked off personal work time. Right now was personal work time but nothing that said Jade - like they both knew it would. “I must have missed that appointment invitation.” Nevertheless, he pushed himself away from his desk with the heels of his dress shoes and reclined back in his plush office chair, showing off his neatly tailored slacks and button-up. One hand ran up through his styled hair, tussling the thick, mossy locks a bit so that he seemed more his own age and less like the crisp, clean-cut business man Renegade Media demanded. He looked weary today, as he often did post-Anthemusa, but he did not look quite so much like he was ready to pass out where he sat. The lieutenant’s unintentional run-in with Jet had done a little to convince him he needed rest if he meant to keep his charade up. He still kept a mason jar of starseeds tucked in his briefcase at all times and several changes of clothes in the bottom of his desk drawer, just in case. Life was work and his work was his life. Without Labyrinthite around to reel him in there was no stopping his ambition or drive, especially since he and Jade had seemed to have such little time for one another recently. Work was a wicked mistress but he was incredibly thankful that Jade didn’t seem to mind too much. “To what do I owe this pleasure, Ms. Argent?” The chair swiveled so that his legs were no longer blocked by the desk and both long, lanky arms rose so he could lean his head back into them. He didn’t bother to hide the way his eyes trailed up from toe-tip to neckline, though he did shoot a dismissive glance at the secretary still hovering behind his girlfriend at the door. With a look of annoyance that made him laugh, she shut it behind Jade, leaving them as alone as he ever was.

Jade and Levi had long since thrown the dividing professionalism of keeping their relationship out of the business through the window and it showed in the way he gave her special treatment or how he didn't bother to hide how he enjoyed looking at her, even in the company of someone else. The secretary had learned, early on, that the white haired woman did as she pleased, while still maintaining enough of a professional air to not be totally problematic.
But that was what she was good at and the whole reason she was the public face of the company, wasn't it?
"You know," Jade drawled fanning her fingers across her breastbone as she pouted at him, "I know you accepted the invitation." He hadn't, because there's been no invitation, but that didn't matter. This was a fun game she loved entertaining whenever she knew she could interrupt his work day. Her mouth was twisted up in a coy smile as she left the woman by the door, crossing the expanse of Levi's office until she could stand before him in his chair, lip caught between teeth as he unabashedly looked her up and down.
That was something she never tired of, how he looked at her.
"Well," she began, stepping closer so that she stood between his legs. "I'm a little attention starved and was hoping you would remedy that." Jade leaned forward, sliding her hands over his shoulder and letting one slip into his mossy locks. Porsha paid enough attention to her, surely, and Jade knew she could get what she needed elsewhere without upsetting her boyfriend, but no one one quite sated her wants the way he did.
If he let her, she was certainly going to crawl into his lap.
"I haven't had time with you in weeks, forgive me if I'm needy."

Every time Levi laid his eyes on Jade, he was reminded of all the things he could have been doing and all the ways his time could have been spent differently. The lip she caught in her teeth and the delicate fingers in his hair made him very suddenly wish that he spent fewer nights sleeping on his desk and many, many more working from her apartment. Of course, that was also the problem with Jade. "It's unfair how easy you make me want to forget about the rest of my day, Argent." He complained, but there was no heart in it the accusation - his lime eyes were already trailing down from her lips and along the curve of her neck as he could see it, resting at the hollow of her throat. When he finally brought his gaze back to hers, his hands came with it, trailing along her sides until he could grip her firmly at the waist and drag her into his lap from the pose she had already taken. The warmth of her body sank into his bones in an instant, making him sigh in relief. When he spoke again, it was soft and gentle, just for her. "Are you lonely, my little siren?"

"S'not my fault," Jade replied, settling into Levi's lap like she was meant to be there. His grip on her waist set her heart a flutter and she hummed happily as she leaned forward, pressing the line of her nose against his neck, lips ghosting across his skin. "If you made more time for me Mr. Drummond, I wouldn't have to interrupt your day."
There was no heat in her accusation, but a hint of loneliness. He hit the nail on the head, she was lonely without him even when she had other people to distract her.
"Only a little bit," she admitted, drawing back to offer him a wilting smile. "I know you're busy and you're still doing damage control, but I'm going to go crazy if I don't get some alone time with you soon." Her mouth quirked into something more devilish as she leaned in, purposely rocking just enough, to let her mouth hover above his. "Dontcha miss me too Levi?"

Levi's enchantress settled easily into his lap and poured her temptations into the same motion, making him groan slightly in the space between their breaths. The rocking tease was unnecessary, she didn't need actions to make him want but she had done it anyway. It left a wistful smile on his lips even as she teased him. All at once, the tall boy stood - with her in his lap, it allowed his hands to slip under her thighs and catch her weight with his strong arms. Up and back they went, until he had her settled delicately on the edge of his desk with his body pressed between the gap of her achingly long legs. One pale hand slid down from her waist to her knee, gripping beneath it and holding her close to him. Two could play at teases, if that was what she wanted. "I always miss you," he mumbled, letting his eyes fall to her lips as he did. The space between their mouths had never widened with his easy movements but neither had it closed, keeping the hovering kiss unfulfilled. Apart from the slightly deeper breaths that made his chest rise and fall where he loomed above her, there was nothing to suggest that she had made him too flustered. Yet. "When I spend too much time thinking about it I don't get any work done." The other hand slid up and caught her at the small of her back, pulling her into him with more pressure. "But you're here now though, right?"

Jade let out a squeal of surprise, nails digging into the fabric of his shirt as he lifted her. Feeling his muscles as he moved her sent a thrill through her even as he repositioned them to try and tease her back in return. With his grip on one of her mostly bare legs, she wrapped the other one around his waist and did her best to scoot forward without risking falling off the desk.
"Good," she cooed, drawing a hand back from where it rested against his neck to boop him on the nose. "You should, because you don't spend enough time with me." Jade didn't care how many times she had already said it, she missed him and wanted more of his time. She was his girlfriend, one that was pretty low maintenance as far as girlfriends went, and she felt like it was okay to be a little demanding from time to time.
Levi was great at teasing her in return, but Jade was the certifiable master as evidenced by their first night.
"Next time, when you need a real distraction because thinking about me isn't enough, you just let me know babe." Her back arched when he pressed her closer, purposely pressing her chest against his as she grinned up at him, still hovering close but not close enough.
Instead of going for a proper kiss, Jade's head ducked and she pressed her lips against his adam's apple. "I'm here and I'm all yours for however long you can spare to lavish your poor, lonely, neglected girlfriend with attention."

<********>, was the only coherent thing Levi’s voice could manage as she latched onto him and made him think of a dozen nights, of the way her skin felt as it slid along his, the sound of her voice when it was just for him. The hand on her thigh gripped tighter and helped her scoot closer to him, half pulling her up against him with a roughness that belied his maintained, outward calm. “Obviously the answer is unannounced visits,” he nearly hissed into the air between them, staring down at her as he spoke. The hand at her hip slid slowly up the length of her spine, drawing her shirt up inch by little inch so that he could trail his fingertips against the heated flesh beneath it. All he knew in that moment was absolute wanting. “I can never resist, anyway.” His own words caused the smirk to break around a low, throaty laugh and he finally leaned to close the space between them. “Levi, you got a fax fr-” The man’s body stilled out of annoyance and his bright eyes cut up to find his secretary paused with his door half open, slack jawed at the sight of them. He really, truly loathed prudeness - nearly so much as he loathed . The fingers around her thigh flexed with his irritation, a tell-tale fidget used to bury his anger beneath her skin. At least with Jade here to keep him partially distracted he wasn’t likely to yell at her. Instead, he drew a deep breath and narrowed his eyes. “Put it in my inbox, Elizabeth.” There was a sheepish nod as she backed away and pulled the door shut behind her. She seemed to have at least seen the anger in his eyes when he looked at her. He stared at the shut door for a moment after she was gone, watching her shadow as it turned away in the frosted glass pane. “I’m going to have to replace her.”

Despite her determination to not break first, Jade could feel her resolve slipping already. Too long had she gone without proper attention from her favorite person; Porsha was wonderful but she wasn't Levi. Unable to help herself, the woman whimpered as he pulled her even closer, pale lashes fluttering at how compromising their situation was about to become.
"If it's the only way to get your attention..." she mumbled, just about ready to lean in and close the distance between their mouths because teasing be damned.
Jade felt his lips brush hers before he was pulling back and someone was talking that really just needed to leave. Exhaling through her nose, Jade chose to grip his back tighter to keep from the snippy retort that nearly slipped between her lips. Hadn't Elizabeth gotten that Levi was too busy with something currently more important than some still fax? Her heart rate had increased at the prospect of finally getting that kiss she'd been wanting and was just seeming to slow down when the door clicked shut and she decided <******** this.
Both hands found either side of Levi's face and she dragged his mouth over to hers. Once their lips were locked, her hand slid down so that her arms could wrap around his neck instead and pull him down against her. The kiss was undeniably desperate and needy, with Jade nipping at his bottom lip when she finally pulled away.
"Sorry," she said, not sounding sorry at all. "I got tired of waiting. You're always making me wait."

Levi made a sudden sound of surprise as he felt her curl around him and pull him into place, causing his upper body to collapse onto hers until he was aware of every inch of her torso pressed up eagerly into his. The surprise died in the kiss and he buried his attention into her, absorbed in the feel of her lips against his own. When she nipped at him and pulled away, his hand tightened possessively around her thigh with an unbidden groan. She always did wind him up until he couldn’t help being aggressive. “I’m sorry,” his breath was heavier than it ought to have been, labored by the sudden need pulsing through his veins. “She’s.. a liability.” Though his eyes were clouded with his lust, he looked down at her with what he hoped she saw as sincerity. With the woman still lurking outside of his door, he wasn’t likely to admit that he was worried about her discovering their alter egos but he wanted Jade to understand how precarious their situation could become with such a nosey nelly. He wanted her and might’ve been willing to make use of his desk moments ago but now, really, he wanted to be away from spying eyes. Elizabeth was digging herself an early grave. He pushed himself up with one arm so that he could loom over her, drawing away his torso but leaving his hips planted firmly against hers. Even if he didn’t want to stay here, he needed her to know it had nothing to do with their little game. “Let’s go somewhere else, hm?” The hand that had been tracing her spine shifted to trail down her sides, brushing along her ribcage in a slow, purposeful stroke.

It wasn't enough, but then again it hardly ever enough for Jade when it came to her boyfriend. That in itself was interesting, because for the longest time, the woman had been very content drifting around and never settling but Levi...Levi was different.
"We'll deal with it later, okay?" She suggested, not wanting any of their time wasted on such an inconsequential thing like Elizabeth. "I'm sure we can find someone from the organization who'd be happy to fill the spot okay?" There were probably several agents who would kill for an easy, well paying job.
Levi drew away and Jade sighed, running fingers through her hair and pouting up at him as she leaned back on his desk. Trying to do anything in the office would be impossible with that woman lurking around outside. Elizabeth probably wanted to catch them in the middle of something just to gossip about.
Yeah, she needed to go.
"Fine, but if we leave you're mine for the rest of the day. No excuses Drummond." She tapped his nose again, loosening the grip her legs had on him and gently pushed his hips to get him to move back. She didn't want him to be away from her, but if they were going to leave, he needed to.
"This unicorn frappucino is trending and I think we should go find one."

The mossy haired man was reluctant but he pulled himself away regardless, frowning for effect as the warmth of her body was replaced by the cool chill of indoor air. He closed the lid on his laptop and had his shoulder bag in his hand to store it by the time she piped up about the unicorn frap. Although he didn't stop the motion of putting away his computer, he gave her a half-smirk at the thought and couldn't help a small laugh. "I do really want to try it," but he was sure his wonderful, far too patient girlfriend already knew that. With a defeated sigh that was entirely for effect, he pulled his bag over his shoulder and held his hand out for her where she still sat displayed atop his desk. He had to admit he enjoyed the sight of her there, poised on top of his work space like a trophy - a thought he would remember for later, when Elizabeth had been properly disposed of. Damn it, Elizabeth. "Fine, I'm not arguing with you, Argent. We both know I owe you a lot of make up time, I've been really ******** busy." His eyes trailed up the length of her legs the moment she began to move again, raising to meet her eyes with that playful half-smirk still in place - only now there was a wickedness in his eyes where he narrowed them the tiniest fraction. "But I promise to make it up to you, okay?"

"Well we better hurry then, before they go extinct." Jade teased, watching as he packed up while sitting on his desk like it was her throne. His girlfriend had been watching the tag pretty closely and she knew how stuff like this worked.
At least, she knew she had a hook up at one of the Starbucks nearby who would save them enough stuff for at least once.
Placing her hand in his, she slid off his desk and stepped into his space long enough for a quick peck on the lips before she was leaving him behind, making her way towards the door. Jade might have exaggerate the swing of her hips just to be a brat.
"I know," she replied, fingers wrapping around the doorknob. "So don't keep me waiting." A flash of pearly whites and the woman was out the door, fully expecting her boyfriend to come after her. He'd packed up for the day and would pay plenty of attention to her while they were together and she'd be sated.
Temporarily, at least.
