Summer Edition 3: Beach Party Dance-Off

Quote:
Quest Characters:
This year we will be both opening Bloodfest to approved quest characters as well as shop trolls.

Official Bloodfest Games Rules:
IC, if you are using an approved quest troll you will be participating as an un-ranked competitor. For whatever reason, your troll didn't manage to register on time to get put on the leaderboards. OOC, this means that you will not be eligible for event prizes/will not be able to win trophies. You will, however, contribute to the score of your troll's team, and receive one event point for full participation in each bloodfest game, for a total of six event points. This option is only available for users with no current shop trolls.

User-Run Booths Rules:
Approved quest characters cannot run booths, but can participate for full user booth prizes, including the raffle tickets. This option is only available for users with no current shop trolls.

Quote:
User-Run Booths:
PLEASE HAVE YOUR BOOTHS READY TO OPEN BY THE 18TH, AND OPEN YOUR BOOTHS ON THE 18TH. THANK YOU!

Once again doomed to its endless cycle of repair and construction, Civisect City (more like Catastrophe City amirite) is trying to attract small business owners by offering free booths to interested members of the public.

What this means is your troll can, in groups of 1-3, or more if you are an official shop faction/organization, run small events of your own. These can run from dice games to writing prompts, to drabbles, to choose your own adventures, whatever you would like. Ideally, they should be daily games that reset at the end of each day, but a week-long event is fine as long as there are ways to hand out tickets each day.

You can create your own rewards, but each booth will also be required to hand out 3 special raffle tickets to 3 different users at the end of the each day. In addition, all users who run/co-run a booth will get 5 raffle tickets and 1 ep in total (rather than per booth they help in).

Users will be responsible for keeping up with posts in their booth/distributing prizes during the event. If events come up where you are no longer able to run your booth during the event, please take care of your current day's prizes then formally close the booth until you are able to return. Raffle tickets and ep will be rewarded to booths that stay active the entire event.

[Booth Art Resources: undecorated booth header, raffle ticket, blank bobblehead psd, blank cuddlesack psd]

In character, your troll can help out in as many booths as they like and can go play at any booth that they are not running/helping to run. Characters are also participating in games at the same time, so as long as your troll is not the only character running 2 booths at once, time management is allowed to be flexible for where your troll is/what your troll is doing during the event.

Once your booth application has been approved, you can create a new thread in the main subforum with the title "=>[BOOTH] your booth's name" and begin to set it up for Bloodfest.
[Example Booth]

Raffle tickets won are gift-able to other users before the final draw.

Quote:
If your troll is currently on the unfavorable side of the law: never fear! In the hectic summer crowds, if you find yourself a nice pair of sunglasses and broad-brimmed hat, and remember to register under an alias, you will slip by undetected in the chaotic festival.

Quote:
Premade Raffle:
At the end of bloodfest, to coincide with prizes, we will run two raffles using the tickets gained through user-run booths.
One will be for users with no shop trolls and will grant x* winners a pick from our premade pool of trolls. Runner ups will each receive 1ep per 5 tickets handed in, not gifted.
The other will be for users with 1+ shop trolls and will grant 1 winner with either a free custom powered or jadeblood troll, or a pick from the premade prize pool.

*total winners will depend on the amount of newbies participating in bloodfest.

Schedule of Events:
March 18 - March 26 = User-Run Booths
March 20 - March 24 = Week-Long Events
March 25 = Soda Pong*, Beach Volleyball*
March 26 = Three-Legged Obstacle Course*

* = preregistration required. Three-Legged Obstacle Course and Beach Volleyball both require a team of two trolls with the same blood colour.

Event pre-registration closes on the 17th. Booth pre-registration is closed.

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Right in the Feels
Owners/Group: Eridia Tsifer
Theme: Quadrant's Day
Game:

Water Gun Game (Based on that carnival game with the clown heads and the balloons): Players must roll D4, D8 and a D10 to determine how much time it takes them to burst the balloon. The player that takes the least time, wins a raffle ticket!

Water Balloon Baseball: Players will roll 2D6 to determine the size of the water balloon and if they "hit or miss". First dice determines the size of the water balloon (1 = biggest, while 6= smallest) and the second dice the accuracy. Two random numbers will be generated to choose the raffle ticket winners!

There will also be a Talking and Kissing Booth where trolls can ask for quadrant advice and other quadrant related services. (Mentioning it JUST IN CASE!)

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Courage!
Owners/Group: Akkira Kagome & Guoli Pyrero
Theme: Fear factor
Game: three events that follow one after the other

Extreme bug collecting - players generate a random number between 1-7 using the RNG to determine how high they get on the wall and how many bugs they collect.

Bafflepop - Players pick a color and use the RNG to get a number between 1 and 4. If they win they get to pick a prize, if they pick the losing lollipop (the disgusting one) they must then perform a task, which means rolling a 2d6 to determine success of their losers task. Each troll that picks the good pop or completes their task successfully are awarded points.

*Hide n seek - Trolls are blindfolded and thrust into the roll of the hunted. Players roll a 2d6 to see how well they survive against the 'hunters' (cardboard cutouts with foam boffers and Akkira with a cardboard tube). The player that avoids the 'hunters' the longest wins.

For all events, highest and second highest scores each night win tickets. Third ticket and any remaining tickets are raffled off to those who participated in the booth.

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Reach for the Stars!
Owners/Group:Polair Rision
Theme: Space!
Game:
Glow in the dark Ring Toss!: Players roll 3D4, 3D6 or a 3D8 to determine whether they successfully tossed the ring around a peg. Player with the highest score wins the raffle ticket!

Trampoline Give Me Wings: Players roll a D100 to reach up to the sky! The troll that gets the highest height wins the raffle ticket for the night!

Space Adventure Board Game: Players roll D6 to advance through the game board. The player that's the farthest throughout the game wins the raffle ticket!

Approved!
For the Space Adventure board game, we want to clarify the ticket goes to the person who advanced the furthest that night, rather than the person who's furthest overall. (So everyone has a chance at winning a ticket.)

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Cerise's Slitchute Nutritionblock
Owners/Group: Cerise Koekje (ft. Frossa & Nahori)
Theme: Cutthroat Kitchen
Game: It's a dice game loosely based on everyone's fave food network show! Trolls roll a 3d20 everyday to determine how they fare in cooking the day's challenge and get points in three areas (sabotage, performance & results) on a 0 to 5 scale that is added for their daily score. The idea is you keep track of your points to win grand prizes, and tickets are given out daily for highest daily score (w ties being broken by RNG), a "best RP post/response" ticket, and the last one is raffled between all eligible players. There's also a mini-game based on the Hot X game Cerise did the last two years, but it won't give tickets.

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Around the World
Owners/Group: Kaldru Dajale
Theme: Travel
Game: Players roll 2d6 to see how far their imaginary convoy travels for the day; they may optionally roll another dice to see if any events happen to them, which may be positive or negative (probably a 1d20 but i'm not finished with my list yet). One ticket is given out to the troll who traveled the farthest each day (rng'd if there is a tie), one ticket will be available to the first troll that rolls it as an event each day, and one ticket will be given out to a random participant of the day. If no one rolls the ticket for the event, it'll be randomly given out as well.

There will be an IC prize for furthest distance at the end of the event, as well as smaller prizes for individual event rolls!

Cup and Card Stacking: Players roll 1D100 and 1d4 to determine how high is their card and cup tower! Eating Contest: Players must generate a random number from 0 to 100 to determine whether or not they've successfully managed to eat all the apples and pineapples on their plate. Seven random number will be generated to determine the "safe" numbers. The player that manages to generate a safe number first wins the raffle ticket. In case no one manages to do so, it'll be given away by RNG.

Bottle Flipping: Players must roll 3D6, to try and successfully flip that bottle! The first dice determines the location they must get the bottle to (ex: on top of a stack of boxes), the second and third determines if the bottle landed vertically. The player that manages to flip the bottle wins the raffle ticket! In case no one manages to do so, it'll be given away by RNG.

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Psychological Help Stand
Owners/Group: Psykgi Mentha
Theme: Character Development!
Game:
Three games will take place:

Inkblots: Daily new inkblot. Trolls are encouraged to share their perception of the inkblot. No wrong answers!

Advice Wall: Trolls can post questions or situations and Psykgi gives advice - can help with plots, and can also be an excercise for us both!

Inner Mind Prompts: Short solo prompts that encourage trolls (and their players) to investigate deep within themselves and flesh out aspects that they might not have done before. Maybe.

Participation in these events will put owners into the drawing for the daily tickets - each activity = one chance to win. Owners can only win one ticket a day unless it's a REALLY slow day or something :/ Basically, tickets are luck based.

Essentially, this is the same sort of booth that Psy does every year, and with an added game much like Panili's booth. Hopefully, it will be fun :B

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Starlight Agency Talent Booth
Owners/Group: Aandes LaMode ft Sascha Diasis with cameos by Odette Cygnet and Opimus Fellah
Theme: Karaoke, in honor of the upcoming production of Schrad: The Musical
Game: Trolls pick from a table of performance styles that apply their choice of modifier to the final result of their roll. (Modifiers like "2x points if you succeed, 0 points if you don't," or "+5 points if you get a 10." ) After this, trolls roll a die and find their result--how many points they win, if any--off a table. Different nights are judged by different trolls from the Talent Agency so the tables are routinely switched out. Each troll has a different judging style. (Aandes is more difficult to please, but offers more points on successful rolls. Odette is more likely to give points across the board, but fewer overall.) At the end of each night tickets are handed out via raffle in which points earned by players represent chances to win (in order to deal with inevitable ties).

I'm Running a Booth!
Booth Name: Bikini Boot Camp
Owners/Group: Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC)
Theme: Training, Beach fun
Game: The JROTC is offering 4 different games for future soldiers to train themselves through! The games are listed below. All games reset daily.

Watermelon Chaos - Scorpa
Roll 10 d6 to determine your performance at this minigame. Trolls will be lead to stand downstream of a small waterfall where watermelons will be released from upstream. Trolls are expected to smash the watermelons as they come for as long as they can before they get overwhelmed or are unable to continue. This game aims to train your reflexes, strength, and most of all your pain tolerance. The troll with the highest score of the day will receive a ticket from this minigame. In the event of a tie, the ticket will be raffled.

Lorata Says - Lorata
Roll 10 d4. The goal of this game is to try and get even numbers in sequence in order to stay in this game of Simon Lorata Says, where Lorata will be giving orders for participants to complete. The goal of this game is to prepare soldiers how to follow instructions from authority figures in the military. Losers will be pelted with a water balloon when they roll an odd number. The troll with the highest score of the day will receive a ticket from this minigame. In the event of a tie, the ticket will be raffled.

Obstacle Course - Austri
Roll 3 d4 to see how far your troll progresses through this extreme obstacle course! Whether your progress or not is determined by the different results for each level of the course. This game will challenge you to push your limits, face intimidating fears head on, and dare to do the impossible! The troll with the highest score of the day will receive a ticket from this minigame. In the event of a tie, the ticket will be raffled.

Ice Ice Baby -Flydra
Roll 1d8. Trolls lift a large container filled with ice and freezing cold water to dunk on themselves to see if they can withstand the pain and misery while remaining standing. The thought process of this game is to test the endurance of a troll as well as test their reaction to stress and physical torture. A hero that collapses under pressure is of no use to the military at all! This game rewards prizes but not tickets.
