 Within a nearby mountain lie natural hotsprings. The arch mage tunneled a hole out so that access could be given. This was later discovered to be the home of some nearby spirits that wonder about the hotspring. It's a very relaxing place and the minerals within the mountain give the water healing properties and quickly loosens muscles relaxing travelers. The springs are vast and range from just a few feet to around 10 deep at the heart. The water is always warm borderline hot designed to be relaxing and soothing for travelers. All are welcome male and females of all races and the springs are open 24/7.

 Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen would enter the tunnels which would lead her to the springs, as she walked she had her scarf around her neck, it was her signature article of clothing, she always wore it where ever she went, of course when she went swimming or relaxing in the spring she would take it off but she would always keep it near her. As she would soon find, her eyes would come to light of the spring, something she always enjoyed, Ever since she moved to the Mage's territory with her wife she always found the spring to be her play of relaxation, Especially when her wife was busy with work. As she would approach the water she squat down and test the warmth with her hand "ah...perfect temperature again" she said chuckling before she stood back up, shaking her hand. she would soon make her way up to the more upper areas where the waterfalls were, once there she took her clothing off besides her swimwear(unless there isnt any in karst), she would place her scarf on top of her clothing and soon jump into the water relaxing as much as she could. ______________________________________

(There can be swimwear whatever you like. Sorry I don't have a posting format yet I should have one by EoD today.)
The Archmage of Karst was already in the springs beneath its waters in the deepest portion he lay allowing its presence to consume him. To envelop him and drown out the noise. His hair black at pitch floated around him. He was curled into a ball, the fetal position actually as if huddled down for warmth. His eyes closed and his jaw clenched. Painful memories of the past haunted him and no matter how hard he tried he could not escape them. Screams his voices and another, pain, so much pain, black fire began to swirl around him causing the water to hiss at its appearance raising the local temperature some.
His eyes suddenly shot open as a foreign body entered the water. The fire stopped and with it the screams subsided. His mighty wings would flap propelling his to the surface and he would look for the source of the sound. He came her in the dead of night to be alone to avoid others and yet she was. A werefox? His lavender eyes settled on her their eerie gaze made even stranger by the lack of a pupil in either eye. His wings tucked to his back as he made his way to the edge now sitting there to give the newcomer space. He was normally coated in plumage but he withdrew it her to enjoy the springs. He had never seen her before and he doubted she would recognize him in this form. The Archmage was rumored to be a great black crow that kept to the skies so a man with black wings would hardly fit that description. Still he would likely be an oddity and he surmised if she had any curiosity she would say something.
He would allow her to opportunity to make the first move. Though in truth part of his reasoning was just a lack of care on the subject.

Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen would just stretch when she got in the water, it was so relaxing, much more relaxing than a bath at home, hot springs were great for after an adventure that was cramped, she could stretch out and relax to her fullest potential. Once Queen had her stretches done she would swim to right under a waterfall and would go under it so she could let it hit her head, it was warm as well, which made it clear for her it was better than her previous home. after a few minutes under this she would find herself Drifting on her back, her eyes would wander around to see the new place, because she was at the spring it had a unique smell to it, which made it hard for her to really distinguish between smells. but her eyes would soon reach someone, rather in the direction she was floating freely to. She moved recently to the karst territory so she had no idea whom was the Archmage so to her, she had o clue who he was, even if he didn't look like he normally did, she wouldn't be able to tell. he had wings, perhaps he was a were as well, which was rare in itself minus herself to be there. when she was beginning to float by she would speak up "those are some really sleek wings you have" she stated looking at him as she was floating ______________________________________

The new comer was floating by. Seemingly if her own volition, allowing the water to guide her about. Was the most relaxing way to go about this to be sure. Allowing the natural current to push her around requiring no effort. The man could respect that. It had been a while since he could truly let go like that. As she spoke he smirked softly. "Thanks... they typically just get in the way though." He said with a soft smile before glancing to her ears and then back to her. "Some nifty ears. I imagine this place must be quite strange for a were." He said softly. The Archmage was regarded as a monster by most he doubted she would be speaking to him so freely if she knew who he was. So it would give him a bit of freedom for now.
"Rarely every see anyone around at this hour. Out for a midnight snack and swim?" He inquired a slight undertone of playfulness in his words. It was more of polite conversation than anything. He used to love playful banter but now it served him little. Though still it wasn't within the man to be rude so he would keep the conversation going. He would shake his head a bit trying to pull the drops of water from his pitch black hair. It was thin and straight but seemed to fall wherever it wanted obstructing the mans lavender eyes somewhat.

Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen would keep her floating up as she would be on her back, her tail moving under the water to keep her afloat and moving around but after she started talking the tail would stop its movement so she wouldn't keep drifting she just looked at him "I can see ho they get in the way...They must be at least twice your width...im guessing" she stated honestly chuckling as he would mention her nifty ears "Ah yes...its very strange...I don't know where I am half the time...this is the only place i can easily find now...I have someone that guides me around sometimes but as a were...i feel more stares then I expected for moving out here" she told him chuckling "but you can also say my ears are more of a burden than of actual use sometimes" she confessed, she personally had the disadvantage of having her hearing more enhanced that others and because of that loud noises hurt her head and messed with her hearing overall. Soon as the topic changed Queen would look around the place "oh...your right...not a lot of people are here..." she muttered as her eyes would return to Surtr "Ah, i guess you can say i did, I just came back from a dungeon so, I figured that my body would rather enjoy a nice time to relax after a day underground; That and I don't want to wake up my wife...she needs her rest" she told him "though...you said midnight snack....does that mean theres food here?" she would ask with a raised eyebrow wondering if that's what he meant or just being up and awake at this time. ______________________________________

As she spoked Surtr chuckled softly. "Twice my width? I believe you meant Height. If so then yes you're right they are a bit larger than twice my height." He said sighing as he sat down on a nearby rock allowing the water to soak through him. "Well use your sense of smell. You should easily be able to get your bearings if you go by smell.." He said stating a fact. He took a couple of potions once before and it allowed him to locate exact positions very easily. It was a very interesting experience and one that he would certainly do again.
"Ah a dungeon you say? Find anything good? I'm quite the adventurer myself." He said reminiscing on his most recent escapade. It was quite enjoyable and he would drop everything at the drop of a hat to go on another one. "Yes best not to wake her." Surtr said allowing a long sigh to escape his lips. She spoke of the food and seemed to perk up which only caused the archmage to chuckle. "Yes, there is some smoked meat and cheese over there. Please help yourself." He said a bit surprised that the were couldn't smell it herself. Surtr normally ate it himself but he wasn't really in the mood so he may as well not let it go to waste. Besides after adventuring she likely built up quite the appetite.

Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen shrugged "Well...I don't know how wings work, never had em, and almost never see them in action or full size" she confessed before sighing "I do, but have to know where the place is in the first place to know, since most of what i smell is just different mages....and that makes it hard sometimes" she told him chuckling "but one of these day's i'll get it down to where i'll know everyplace by either memory or scent" she told him. she would soon stop floating and would be more straight up in he water as she talked to him, being as laying on ones back was abit of a hassle to keep up when talking. "yes, I go to different dungeons every time i finish one, Sadly todays dungeon was, cleared clean...nothing left tat had value...minus a few small gems which probably wont get me much, but still better then nothing I suppose. her eyes narrowed when he claimed to be an adventurer "oh really, how often do you go on them, because if all the time, i can understand the need for it every so often" she joked being half serious. "Smoked, ooh that sounds good...if you don't mind" she stated swimming over and grabbing some of the meat and taking a bi t "oh I missed the taste of meat" she said as she would seemingly enjoy the flavor, "You know...Spending days in a dungeon, can really make you appreciate what you have outside of them" she stated laughing as this was true for her, she often spent days or even weeks in a dungeon and she would always get the least filling food as she was always exploring. "Thanks for the food mr...um...I never got your name, kinda rude of me...Names Queen(pronounced Quinn) whats your name?" she would ask ______________________________________

Surtr smiled softly. "I could show you sometime. Though flying around here can be a bit dangerous. Suppose it's a side effect of being place in such a harsh environment." Surtr said with a chuckle as if having experienced this first hand. Which he had, the sharp winds and updrafts over the mountain peaks often would shift his position by several meters immediately. If he wasn't such a good flyer he would have likely died long ago. "I'm sure you'll have it figured out sooner than you think." Surtr said running his hands through his hair allowing the warm water to slip through.
"Whenever I can, though I don't seek money. I have little need of it..." He said softly, he didn't say what did interest him figuring it wasn't really necessary. Surtr was interested in artifacts or scrolls. "Please eat it all. It would go to waste if you don't..." Surtr said while stretching and allowing his wings to spread wide stretching them out. He normally horsed around a bit more but there was someone else here so he would spare her from that. "My name is Surtr.... pleasure to meet you Queen. It's always nice to meet a new face." He said with a smile genuinely happy to meet her.

Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen would chuckle "Sure, I wouldnt mind seeing the eyes of a bird for once, Just dont drop me when you intend to take me...you'd upset my wife" she laughed. She was sure what he was talking about, he had wings, if they were for just show, then he was a good liar, but she figured no one would have wings and now use them so she looked forward to the possible flying adventure that he offered. "perhaps your right, Afterall I always need to remember where i go in dungeons so i dont get lost coming out, so I'll figure this place out eventually regardless how fast" she said chuckling some more. Queen would always go as often as she can, the only reason for her even bing back wasn't because of food but because she had to go home to someone, which if she didn't she'd never be in town or even be in the mage territory. "Sadly I wish i could just say i don't seek money, but with how much money is needed to keep a house and stuff...I can only pray that i find things to sell along with my hobbies of adventuring, which you can surmise, i dont make the most in my relationship." she laughed. his offer to eat all the meat was a suprise, she was sure that that would have been rude to eat everything but he was sure about it "If you're set on that then sure" she stated as she would eat some more as she watched him stretch his wings "man...those are huge" she muttered before nodding " ITs a pleasure to meet you too Surtr, Its nice to meet people whom don't just give you stares for being a were" she said smiling. ______________________________________

Surtr chuckled as she mentioned being dropped. "If I did, it would only be so you could experience the sensation. I would catch you before any harm befell you." He said with a soft chuckle before grabbing a piece of meat himself and eating it. She seemed to refuse his offer to eat it all so he would help her. Though he wouldn't eat very much. "I unfortunately am dragged back here as well. Though for something far less fun than a woman." He said rubbing the back of his neck. In truth it was a woman though it wasn't the kind that kept you company. No it was the kind you have to protect like a beautiful rose he had to constantly tend to it to ensure it continued to bloom. A daughter, one that he cared for more than anything.
"Money lost its value long ago. If you'd like I have a few places that should have more than enough gold or gems to last someone a lifetime. Though the journey would be filled with peril." He forewarned. He knew there was a monstrous amount of gems among other things. Surtr personally was after knowledge. Though people seemed to store the two together. Still if this one could handle herself why not let her reap the spoils? Surtr would just end up leaving it all there anyway. As she complimented his wings he chuckled. "Yes, a bit of a curse you could say.... I suppose it is good to be marked like this. For all to see what happens when you tamper with forbidden magic." He said with a soft smile dipping his head as she greeted him properly.
"I have seen all races many times. Don't see what all the fuss is about. Now if you were a vampire I could understand the wandering eyes. Though a were? Even so I suppose a fox is a bit more exotic I'll admit." He said softly noting the rarity of her. Surtr had encountered a few before one in particular stuck out in his mind, though he doubted there were any women left like that in the world. No it seemed the borders of the map had been filled in and the world was getting smaller.

Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen would glare at him with a smirk "Please don't I rather not feel the sensation of falling to death...even for a second" she said laughing, not exactly excited about the idea of him dropping her and catching her. she would just listen to his reason for being there too "Well, I can oly imagine the reason being something....important at least whatever it may be, or else you wouldn't have stayed in the place you were dragged" she told him. He did have a point, over time any sort of currency kept going down, which when it came to what she did made it hard for obtaining any sort of big payment for her sells, unless of course it was something never seen before which was near impossible. but her ears did perk up when he mentioned a few places that could have enough gold and gems to last a long time "You know...unless you're offering to tell me where said places are and are letting me go to them...I'd refrain from mentioning it" she chuckled "because with peril brings adventure and I want that, and if you bring gold and gems in...that means i dont have to worry abut picking things up anymore...which I'd looove to skip over" she said chuckling. she would once again look at his wings "hmm guess that is one way....but you also have to give credit wings make ya look like an angel" she told him "well...a dark angel hence they color" she joked. "Ah see there lies the experience i have, Remember people like to accommodate our races by the animals we are closer too, wolves can be violent and work together then you get foxes and many view us as tricky and devious, which I'll admit we can be and its fun to be, but its a weird feeling to have people see us as that" she told him before smiling "Aww...thanks I'll take that flattery as a compliment" she said smirking. ______________________________________

"Very well.... no dropping. Though I'm telling you it's a very amazing feeling." He said allowing the offer to stand should she change her mind. "I suppose your logic is sound." He said softly allowing a sigh to escape his lips. "I'm offering for you to accompany me, and in exchange you can have all the gold and jewels you want." He said clarifying that he would be more than willing to let her join and compensate her for her time and assistance.
As she spoke about the wings making him look like an angel he chuckled. "I suppose..." He said softly as suddenly feather began to sprout out from his body coming up over his shoulders. He rose his hands up revealing they now contained claws. "Not so angel like now." He chuckled playfully as wisps of black fire began to appear around him causing the water to boil and hiss in his local area. It would suddenly die down and his feathers and claws disappearing. "Tricky and devious is definitely my favorite of the bunch." He said with a playful wink signifying he enjoyed were foxes.

Queen Trienna Chanteloup______________________________________ Queen would chuckle "I'll just take your word for it...i'll leave the experiencing of said feeling to the idiots whom have no wings and want to free fall for thrills" she joked before shrugging "its not really logic...its just common sense that's all" she chuckled. soon she would hear his offer in full this time, "Hmmm An adventure and company, its not every day i get offered to accompany someone on a journey" she told him with a smirk "Its very tempting to accept, May I ask, is there anything in return that i need to do for you, to accompany you, or is it just a offer of kindness, both of which i wouldn't mind doing. you know as long as its reasonable" she told him looking at now his hands that he brought up, she would notice the talons and such as well as feathers "hmmm...Now that you show that...your more like a were yourself...which....isnt a bad thing but, with only the flight and the....claws...Im going to say you kinda bit a bad fruit there, but " she began as she shrugged "thats just my perspective, but As my wife always tells me, got to think positive on everything even if s**t is constantly raining....or...something like that, i always forget half of it" she said laughing as she most likely got it mixed up again. she didn't mind the water changing temperature around him rather she kind of assumed things like that would happen in the mage territory. "Sounds more like your type of girl if you ask me" she aid smirking "You seem like a guy whom would enjoy someone like that, expessially how you act so far around me" she told him "speaking of that, pretty sure a fox will fall for you quick if you go in the territory" ______________________________________

"Well the dungeon isn't an easy one to clear so you'd be helping me there. That's really about it. There's a scroll inside I'd like, contains some rather dangerous magic.... I tend to seek out those things and destroy them to prevent power from getting into the wrong hands." Surtr said with a soft chuckle while rubbing the back of his neck. He had lived for almost 5000 years and if there was one thing he had learned about the mages it was that they were unable to restrain themselves when it came to power. They would become consumed by it, corrupted and disfigured until all that remained was a monster. Surtr for a while now had been minimizing that possibility by removing temptation. So he would continue this trend. Though he guessed if Queen wanted money she could take that he had no use for it.
"Definitely a bad fruit." He chuckled before dunking under for a second to rewet his hair. He chuckled as he caught her saying finding her inability to retell it quite humorous. "Yes I had found a particular one. I visited her frequently and vice versa. Though as time went on she seemed to want something a bit more permanent. I'm not really one to be tied down....Only ever met one woman who could accept that" Surtr with a soft smile as if he was reminiscing on old times. He knew he was like the wind, something that could not be controlled or caught. It was just something that went where it pleased and would always be that way. "Your wife, is she a mage? Or did both of you immigrate here?" Surtr inquired looking to her. Either option was perfectly legal. Karst allowed all in its walls a very progressive move for the time but one Surtr made sure was enabled.
