Though Adria couldn't rightfully complain about much these days, it didn't stop his mind from sometimes drifting to distant days. He had been fortunate to avoid trouble, for the most part, and even the park seemed to be safer than usual.
He had been meandering for a bit, pretending to do his expected Senshi duty; the truth was, he was muddling around the park as he muddled around his thoughts.
He was fortunate enough to have some people to talk to--not about everything, of course. He was afraid of disappointing them. He wasn't a coward, he just...
There were some things he just had a hard time letting people know. He didn't want his friends to worry about him, he didn't want to give them anything to tease him about.
He sighed heavily and shook his head, reaching up to scrub at his face. His friends were nice. They weren't the sort of person who would maliciously tease him about his faults. Past experiences had just made him guarded. He felt like he'd been bottling up so much that it was just about to explode.
Distracted, he didn't really even realize he'd stumbled almost directly on top of another energy signature. He paused, lowered his hands from his face, and glanced around.
"...Hello?" he chanced, figure he'd rather announce himself now before he accidentally startled someone.Kyrieko I hope this is okay! If not, let me know! I will work on getting the others started as soon as I can!

Fenrir was lost in her thoughts, not for the first time as of lately. She initially powered up after leaving work, like was typical when she had to close the music store, But instead of going straight home, she'd braved a little wandering around, always careful of any dark energy signatures she felt. The night seemed calm, however, and she didn't feel anything unpleasant.
Which was part of how she wound up in the park, instead of being home right then. She'd remembered wanting to check it out, having passed by it so many times prior yet never entering it. It seemed like the perfect place she could bring Thorin out for a walk. The corgi would certainly enjoy barking at everyone and thing while happily prancing about the outdoors.
The thought made her laugh as she found a spot sit down and just enjoy the park. Even at night, it was quite refreshing with all the sounds of the crickets and soft coos of birds settling in to their nests. Sitting there, with everything so peaceful, her reality didn't seem so terrifying.
But Fenrir knew otherwise. A shiver raced down her spine, hand unconsciously raising to her stomach. And then she felt it. For a moment, it seemed her heart refused to work. But then, her mind discerned the energy she felt was... clean. Good. And there was a voice.
Looking back over her shoulder, she didn't see anyone at first, having sat down in front of some shrubbery. Getting to her feet slowly, Fenrir ventured a reply. "Ah... hello? I... mean no harm." She added, a little uncertainly.

When she rose, Adria caught sight of her. He breathed a sigh of relief and seemed to almost immediately relax, lifting a hand to wave. "Hi," he greeted. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you or anything. I hope I'm not interrupting...?" he chanced.
He didn't think he was, but there was no telling. If she had been hiding behind shrubbery, for all he knew, she really just wanted to be alone. His manners told him he ought to at least ask before forcing himself into her evenin. While she seemed keen to offer no harm, her exclamation of such made him worry that he was giving off the wrong impression. He wasn't used to Senshi trying to defend themselves to him, so he shifted positions and bit his lip.
Hastily he added, "I mean no harm, either--I was just out tonight and realized I sort of didn't want to be alone if I could find company. But if you're busy, I can go on my way!"

He did not seem threatening. And he most certainly did not have ears or a tail sprouting from him. Not that this was completely reassuring, considering her own 'ears'. But there was definitely a lack of violence pouring off of him. And actually seeing him, now, made Fenrir relax a little more.
"N-No! You're not. I just... was thinking on some things and wound up sitting there." It was sort of relaxing, being surrounded by the scent of grass and the sound of crickets with the occasional bird or owl making noise.
Watching his demeanor change, Fenrir felt more at ease. This one didn't mean her harm. And she was getting that 'clean' sort of Order feel from his energy signature. The last bit of tension seemed to leave her and Fenrir offered the young man a friendly smile.
"I promise, you weren't interrupting and some company would be much appreciated." She held out a hand to him. "I'm Sailor Fenrir."

Relieved by the smile, Adria managed to move a little closer. “Hi, Fenrir. I’m Adria. It’s nice to meet you.” He wound up taking a seat nearby, careful to give her a bit of space still. “I think company’s the best when you’ve got bad thoughts going on.”
He cast a concerned look in her direction. “…Do you want to talk about what’s on your mind? Sometimes it helps,” he said, trying to sound a little encouraging. “Better than bottling it up, I think. I wind up making myself sick. I know it’s not healthy, but…sometimes it’s hard to ask someone to just be an ear. But, uhm.”
He offered her another smile. “I’m here, if you want to think out loud?”

She didn't really mind him sitting beside her, though she appreciated his courteous behavior. Even as he sat, there was a much more relaxed posture about the senshi. She carefully sat back down where she'd first been, regarding her new companion for the moment.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Adria." And she did mean that. Especially someone that just wanted to offer a friendly ear to listen, apparently.
Fenrir considered it. Maybe speaking with another senshi might do her some good? They would be the only ones able to truly understand what she was saying. And she could be honest with them. Trying to speak to others that weren't - like her brother - just wouldn't work.
"I... well, I guess maybe having a second opinion might not hurt?" She sighed, looking up at the night sky. "I'm just... I don't know, confused? Not sure what I'm really doing?" Fenrir glanced over at Adria. "You see, I was in a very dangerous battle recently. Almost died. And I can't shake the feeling that I don't really understand why we are fighting. None of it was really explained. Or, if it was, I certainly didn't believe it at the time." But now? She wasn't sure which way was up or down.

Adria nodded understandingly; he leaned forward, invested in her story and making an effort to give her his full attention. “That makes sense,” he said and chewed on his lip for a moment as he tried to think about how to respond.
“I’ve had the same doubts,” he confessed, lacing his fingers together and twiddling his thumbs in thought. “I understand that we’re supposed to be doing good and keeping the planet safe but it’s sort of…I don’t like fighting. I feel like this war has been going on for long enough that there should be older, wiser people—smart enough to solve problems with more than just violence. Or, at least, who can tell us why I should be risking my life for people. But if you talk to the Negaverse, sometimes they sound like they think they’re the ones who are in the right? Like, they drain energy and pull starseeds and kill people—to fight us? But they say we’re aliens that are going to destroy Earth and,” he sighed and leaned back a bit.
“I don’t have any desire to destroy Earth. It’s my home, I just want it to be safe. But I guess I’ve sort of wondered…if the Negaverse is just powering up to stop us, what happens if we stop powering up? Do they stop draining energy and hurting people because they think we’re gone?”
