 Emika was feeling very nervous as she approached the Fertility Clinic. She knew a little bit about what to expect, this wasn't the first time that she had to use a Battery to imbue. Still, the clinic was white and cold and even though it was very clean and sterile, it reminded her more of a hospital. It didn't bring much happiness to her, making her even more nervous as she approached the desk.
"I... I'm here... to request a Battery..." Was that what she was supposed to say? She gave the receptionist her name and then waited as the woman handed her a stack of papers to fill out. She hoped this agonizing part would be over soon, even though she figured this might not be the last time she'd be here, if she could help it.

 Cherry was so nervous and excited when she got the phone call that her services were needed. This would be the first time she would be helping officially at the fertility clinic. Cherry was literally vibrating with unsure magical energy. She was born a battery, she had always had extra magic and she didn't often use enough of it to drain her reserves. She gathered her things and hurried to go meet the infertile that would be her first client she helped. Once Cherry was there she went to a quiet room, that was done in comforting colors. Cherry took a deep breath she would offer the person the choice of if they wanted her to put magic into an item or if they wanted her to put the magic into them through touch. Cherry was comfortable with either method. So was thrilled to be able to help someone else, yet still a bit shy about meeting someone she didn't know.

She felt a breath locked in her throat when the receptionist finally called her name and led her to the back. A different woman appeared from a door and smiled gently, opening a door that led to a much more comfortable looking room. After Emika walked in, the woman stepped in behind her, holding a clipboard. "This is Cherry, she has offered to be your Battery. I'm going to let the two of you get to know each other a little bit, and when you both are finished just fill out this form and signify if you both agree to it or not." She then left the room and Emika felt her nerves at an all time high.
"Ummm... hi... I'm Emika.." She offered gently and sat down on the couch a section or two away from the Geist. She was staring at her lap, not really sure what to do next. "I... Thanks for considering me..."

Cherry smiled softly and said "I'm here to help, I would love to help you." Cherry looked away shyly she was still really excited to be a part of helping Emika like this it was amazing to think she could help someone who might otherwise never get to hold an infant in their arms. "I'm Cherry." She said softly "Please just tell me what would make you most comfortable I can just transfer the magic to you, or I can get one of the magical items from the clinic and put the magic into it for your use." Cherry said waiting for Emika's answer.

Emika blinked for a moment, her head swiveling upward. The woman hadn't even asked for payment. That actually made Emika smile a little, this woman seemed sweet, or at least she hoped so. "It's nice to meet you, Cherry." She folded her hands in her lap, her eyes on the other female. "Um, an item, if you don't mind?" She was still really nervous, however, even if the tension was slowly fading.

Cherry nodded she didn't mind it was better to do what made the client more comfortable. "I'll be right back." She said softly. Then Cherry left the room a moment closing the door behind her. Then she returned with the item. She was quiet for a long time. She gave all her focus and all her attention to the item so she could put as much magic as she safely could into the item in order for Emika to have the best chance she could to imbue. Cherry loved Emika's eyes and hair she imagined a tiny Emika running around and it made her smile. The more magic she put into the item the colder and tingler Cherry felt. She was alright with that though her magic would come back in 24 hrs. So it didn't bother Cherry one bit to pour her magic into an item to give someone else the chance at a family. Once she was done, she was tired and shaky she held the item out to Emika to take.

Emika wasn't really sure what to do with herself when the other woman left. So she stared at her lap, hoping that Giedi was okay with his babysitter. She had already talked to him and he had been more than willing to have a younger sibling that he could teach and do things with. She smiled gently at the thought, a hint of excitement running through her.
When Cherry reappeared, she looked up. She quietly watched Cherry part with her magic, wondering how it felt for her. Once she had finished, she saw the woman falter a little. "Are you alright?" She hoped she hadn't hurt herself.

Cherry gave a tired smile as soon as Emika left she would likely take a nap, she was tuckered out and likely would be till tomorrow. She might just take a bed in one of the resting rooms at the clinic since she didn't feel up to going home just yet. "Yes I'm fine I'll be back to normal tomorrow, the process takes a lot out of a battery. So we can only do it once per day. This is my first time, so I wasn't sure how I would feel but the clinic is set up to take care of the volunteers. I wish you luck with your imbuing." Cherry said with a sleepy smile.

She reached out for the charm and small smile formed on her lips. Looking at her she took a deep breath, "I hope I'm not being too forward... But I could take you back to my home and make you dinner and let you rest, as my way of saying thanks?" She hoped it didn't sound too creepy. She knew a lot of people wouldn't want to take up a complete stranger on something like that, but Cherry actually seemed really nice and she hated anyone being in pain because of her. A small part of her hoped she'd accept, but she didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable either.

Cherry wasn't bothered by the offer, she was surprised. She had expected a kind thank you and goodbye. She hadn't expected the other person to offer to take care of the and make her dinner. "Oh that is very sweet of you, you don't have to, I was more than happy to help you don't owe me anything. If you really want to I'll come with you." Cherry's cheeks blushed pink with her shyness over the situation. She knew it wasn't a date but still the situation had surprised Cherry. She liked to make others happy, so she would do as Emika asked if she really wanted to take care of Cherry.

Emika's eyes actually lit up when Cherry accepted the offer. She tried very hard to not sound too enthusiastic since she didn't want to scare her away, but she was really glad she had said yes. She stood to her feet, and let out a breath of relief, she was glad the whole thing was over with. She had been entirely too nervous. "I would love that. I'm not the best cook in the world, but it would be nice to cook for someone. And you did this for me, so I want to do something for you." She nibbled her lip, her eyes cast toward the charm. She was filled with both excitement and anxiousness. She was going to finally imbue a stone. She couldn't wait.midnightglow18 I think we can call it finished there. =333 Thank you!!
