- Maelish was reclined in his oversized sweater, the plush arm chair the staple of his apartment. The rest was rather bare yet, his moving to Below rather recent in events. He sighed, stroking the warm mug in his lap. Mae didn't have the faintest idea what he was going to do here. There was Mika who he got along well with, but beyond calling them friends and having something of a social life, the Hallow didn't think that was resume worthy. Licking his lips, he sipped on his drink.
In reality, Maelish in particular did not want kids or a family. Maybe one ankle biter eventually, but for now he was the epitome of lazy foul bachelor and introducing a kid into his lifestyle was never going to end well. But, for some, imbuing was like, the greatest right of passage or something. He hmmed to himself. With the Hunter's Jubilee in the air, people had been making plenty of rash decisions as far as he could tell.
"Maybe I can try it," he murmured with his usual lisp to the large window of his living room, squinting against the waning light. He didn't want to raise a kid, but he knew plenty were adopted from the cache in Below. It seemed a little silly to him to adopt a stranger's kid especially with some of the racial tensions, but to each their own. A small smile escaped him. Would they panic if their new child popped out with an oddity of wings, fearful of the October's curse? Below amused him a lot.
Flicking his tail from side to side, Maelish released a resigned sigh before standing. He would get ready for bed, and then in the morning he would go down to the clinic. He had heard whispers of some matchmaking thing and maybe he would find somewhere there to test this imbuing thing with - he still wasn't convinced a family was for him, but he was willing to help out others if it meant he did something with his life.
