The best thing about Valentine’s Day was the day after it, when Shahar was well stuffed with the remnants of Singles Awareness party snack foods and drinks, and chocolate was on sale for 70% off. Her fridge was also well-written with leftovers, and she had even won free drinks for a week at one of the bars she had swung by last night. Hopefully she wouldn't put it out of business- and that she didn't over-estimate her liver, kidneys, and other body parts that kept her alive.

She might be pickled by the end of the week tho.

Now, as Titanite, the woman strolled her way down an alley, her hands full of bags of candy. She had been pelting drunk civilians with it all evening from the roof of a bar, and now she was on to find other prey. Maybe that senshi of candy she had heard so much about, or like… that dude, there.

Titanite could feel the more powerful aura of another agent, but eh. “Catch!” she called in warning, and then chucked a fun-size snicker at their head.

Of all the things that the chocolate-buzzed Titan was pondering as a possibility, what actually happened was not among them. The candy thumped into the other Agent's head, and Titanite's face was almost comical in her surprise. She had been almost certain that her warning and the supernatural reflexes shared by the magic of the Negaverse and the Senshi that he would... dodge. Or something. Anything.

But no; the candy bounced off the side of his head, and her eyes flew wide with startled amusement before she caught herself. "I am giving it away," she said cheerfully, crinkling her fingers into the plastic of the large bag of candy, moving towards the other Agent, eyes bright with suppressed humor. "Something sweet for all the good drunks of this hell-hole of a city." they were, after all, her favored companions. "I did not expect that the candy might hit you. I miscalculated. Please accept my..." she paused, considering. "I suppose apologies is the correct term. Surprise? I did think you would catch it."

Titanite shifted her weight, considering the male in front of her with an appraising eye. At six feet in height, she was used to being able to look down on a vast majority of people. It was always refreshing when that was not the case. "Do you find sharing a waste? Or is it only that I was using the candy as a projectile? I have been doing it all night to startle the passerby. It is surprisingly fun- and useful in helping me identify who is too aware to drain, and who could possibly benefit from a short nap, if you understand what I mean."

Titanite gave the Captain a big grin, baring her bright white teeth. "I always find being near a club somewhat distracting. It is how I spend a large part of my civilian life. I find something about them titillating, do you not?" her gaze drifted to a woman walking down the sidewalk, laughing, and it was clear why she enjoyed spending so much time near a club.

"I am not hitting them in the face with the candy," she said with a bright laugh. "Only testing to see how drunk they are. And when they wake, they have something sweeter than a kiss to remember me by." she let her mouth curve in a grin. "Kissing makes it very easy to drain them, but to make sure they stay well, I cannot take too much. It means I am more frequently than not, running low on my energy quota."

A reason why she wanted a promotion: Less quota. More fun time. The other agent reached out, and she watched him drain his distant victim with open curiosity. That. That right there. So cool! "Candy was 70 to 80 percent off. I bought a lot. This is my third bag in tonight's give-away."

Her smile was lazy and wolfish, and Titanite gave the other agent a slow shrug. "I can think of many worse ways to get my energy than giving someone something pleasant to remember the experience by," she said simply, and the nausea rose in her throat at some of the other things- no. Titanite had been drinking almost non-stop since pulling her last starseed, and did not want to think more on it. Would not. "Besides," she said lazily, "I do not like to sleep alone. The bars and clubs I go to are for lonely people."

His offer was unusually kind, and she tilted her head curiously. "A generous offer, Captain. Do you have a way to boost what I can absorb? Or just a little company while I go about my business? In a different manner than I might normally, of course." in deference to his non-judgment of her lifestyle choices. "I'm Titanite. I suppose I will be your dance partner for a little while this evening." holding out the bag of candy, she tilted her head and smiled.

"I would not expect anything else from you, Captain," Titanite promised with a smile. "I am glad to accept any information you can offer, however." Just because she had spent the last 6 years as a lieutenant did not mean there was not always something to learn. Though, he was mentioning energy studies and perfecting absorption of it, and while Titanite was not a fool, she was also not the brainiest of her siblings.

She did better with things she could see and fight, instead of just crapshoot in the dark.

Arsenopyrite took out the piece of candy, and the blue-haired Lieutenant gave him a wolfish smile. "Yes. Let us go, Arseno. We can finish off this bag of chocolate together, if you have a taste for sweets. As a thank you for your companionship."
