It had to be a mighty important issues to have Destati haul her the entire way back to his chosen forward camp. To say that it had been a long walk was the understatement of the year, and yet she had been forced to jog and run the entire way there. It was just as well that she and those within the Collective were all built for the abuse. Their master would have expected nothing less from them and given he had been so brisk in his summons, she had decided that humour was not fitting for the situation.

At the very least, she surmised that it wasn't about his son. His son had been reasonably healthy last time she had seen him, still clueless as to the whims of the world of an assassin, but he was learning. Thus, her summons must have been in relation to something entirely different.

She managed to reach him within a few days and though her legs were perhaps the least content of all the parts of her, she had managed to find a spare moment to flop herself onto the ground. She could remain splayed out here until he came near her, for the time being he seemed to be discussing something else with Gideon. She hadn't seen Gideon with an expression like that one in years as well, there was clearly something very amiss and a small part of her was rather hoping that he would put her out of her misery.

...She was all for intrigue, but if time was of the essence then she wanted to get a move on now.

"You're absolutely certain?" Gideon had asked as Destati updated him on the situation.

"Positive," Destati responded and motioned towards the north where their home lay. "There is no other feasible explanation as to why this is occurring," he pointed out darkly. "I have no proof, but it's there and I need you to start finding it -" he held up his paw as Gideon went to dispute this order. Destati could appreciate that Gideon's place really should have been here continuing the search for their missing member, but he was also the only one capable of this particular job, his skill set was required. "Gain as much information as you can from them, every shred of detail so that we can use it later," he paused.

"Havase will guard our leverage for the time being," he glanced over his shoulder to acknowledge that Suu'marle had arrived. "He will keep the noble in check while the rest of you conduct yourselves as quickly and quietly as you can," he pursed his lips into a thin line.

"If you've decided to call Adar..."

"I am under no allusions that someone will be dying when we make our presence known again," Destati stated darkly. "Adar will have full reign to crush whatever and whomever gets in his way," he cleared his throat and lowered his voice so that Gideon alone could hear him. It wasn't an attempt to hide the information from Suu'marle, but this land was filled with curious life that liked to listen in to plenty of conversations.

"If I can begin to sow chaos into the ranks of the nobles who so foolishly allied themselves with the very thing that would destroy everything they want, then I will do that," he murmured. "It will be up to you to exploit that blood of yours to get what little scope on this that you can."

Gideon raised a brow.

"I'm sure I can come up with some sort of reason as to why I've reappeared after all these years," he replied and gave a nod of his head as he strode off. "I'll go ahead, I'll need to find a weakness in the borders to slip through without these two being associated with me."

"Of course," Destati gave a nod and finally turned his attention to Suu'marle. "I'm sure you heard quite a bit of that, thoughts...?"

"We're lacking in quite a bit of context," the lioness replied smoothly from where she had chosen to lie. She was relieved to find that the Justicar's family were at least safe, then again save for the scourge out here, none even knew that they existed! "But from what I have gathered, it appears that we are returning home to conduct ourselves in a rather unpleasant fashion," Suu'marle purred and tilted her head to the side.

Any time that Destati elected to deliberately unleash Adar into the general populace meant that he was not happy. Adar was one of the most understood within the collective and would no doubt be regarded with horror as he bounded through the streets... But Suu'marle and the others knew him well. The 'phantom' would follow his orders to the letter, but if he was present, it meant those orders were far from diplomatic.

...Truthfully, if she was there, then it meant that the orders were far from diplomatic as well.

"If you have need of your two assassins then I have to wonder exactly what you have in mind for us," she acknowledged her own role within the collective and smirked as Destati provided her with a wry smile. "Who am I trailing and precisely how do you need them to be handled - are we talking death, permanent injury, or simply something to make them re-evaluate their life choices?" she asked curiously.

The work ethic of his chosen few certainly couldn't be denied, they even had a knack for recognising what type of missions to expect when they were paired with specific individuals. On this occasion Suu'marle was definitely not wrong - as the poison master and the assassin; she and her companion were uniquely qualified to cause significant damage very quickly. To say that Destati's aim was to get in, cause substantial chaos, and get out again safely was an understatement... But on this occasion their duties were going to be two fold. Fortunately he had absolute faith in both his poison mistress and his assassin... For all the faults some might declare they had, none knew them like he and their fellow Collective did.

"Believe it or not, a rescue mission," he replied at last, cracking a smile as the lioness's eyebrows both raised. If there were two words she probably didn't expect to hear in her life, it was those. He could only assume that Adar would have much the same reaction, but he could see that he had the lioness's attention at least... Or rather, her interest.

"It would seem a certain caste of noble has finally started to make progress in something they shouldn't," he pursed his lips. Once again his expression became thunderous, he didn't enjoy fighting against two sides at once but it seemed this was what fate had planned for him at this point in his life. "They've started to assassinate the politico."

Another pause.

"Find Thalyssra, use any means you can to debilitate those you come across though try not to make it fatal," he raised a brow. "I want them to realise that we're watching, and we're not too busy to make it known," he continued. "Your main role is to get in, collect Thalyssra, and get out again. She will be brought here to come under our protection; they can't kill what they can't reach and it will secure our territory for the time being - without anyone to vote for certain legislation it will not go forward."

"And Adar?"

"Will cover you, but he will have several other tasks to conduct while he's there."

"I assume we will be leaving together then," Suu'marle remarked, to which he gave a nod.

"Rest up for now," he ordered. "When you have both been briefed you will leave," he confirmed softly and strode away. He'd leave the lioness to her own devices, she was going to have to think her plans through and he'd do her no favours by getting in her way...
