It was not often he went to the Life Labs, not wanting to encounter H if he could help it. But now he had no qualms in seeing the life lead, nor did he particularly care. He was more interested in retrieving himself some new runics, particularly some 3DSes, or even a laptop. There was probably some protocol or some rules about requesting such things, or having to make the runics himself, but he had desire to go spelunking in underwater caverns or learning how to carve stones. Nah, best to go bully someone else to go do it for him. Speaking of bulling, he saw a hunter up ahead. Hmm, perhaps he could of use... Jason walked up to the hunter, striding past and on the way, smacked him up the back of the head. "Oy"

The hit didn't make him bounce back, but instantly made him more forward and stop short, body going rigid. There was no one in this department that smacked his head.
What had happened was someone had touched his hair with their hand without consent.
Eyes focused and sharp, he turned to the hunter in question. "Excuse you." He said through a tightening jaw.
Saliva wiggled in his mind.

Jason stared back, chin upturned slightly and just grinning his arrogant face off at Melvin. "You're excused." He spoke, then folded his arms and stepped closer, intending to intimidate this guy into doing what he wanted. Weather or not he could do so was another question, he was fully ranked. But regardless he'd enjoy the challenge of doing so. "I hear this is were you get runic items. Don't suppose you can hook me up with some?" He asked as if he hadn't just hit the hunter five seconds ago.

He could almost feel his jaw lock and reached behind to touch his hair to sense if there was anything making it stick out and frowned when he notice a errant curl trying to stick out. Great. He just got it to stay down.
"You have to be more specific. This is the runic department. We can runic items for you. It just depends on what you want done..." He lowered his hand and tugged at one of his gloves. "...and how much you want to spend."

He saw the care Melvin took in straitening his hair and made a note of it, then raising a eyebrow when the mention of money came up. "What, spend?" As if he was going to spend a dime on something so frivolous. "Are you kidding? aww, don't be like that!" And then he reached out, grasping and ruffling up Melvin's hair. "I'm sure we can work something out?"

He gave a thin-lipped frown at being told this hunter was having no intention of actually paying for hard work, but any lecture was immediately derailed by the hand that dived right into his hair and rustled it into a mess.
While Melvin's own hair was thick and soft, it was also something he took time to fashion into the puff of blonde. Without some effort, it curled and stuck out, a curse on his mother's side who had naturally curly hair while his father's was more wavy in nature. This lead to errant curls now seeking their true nature and sticking upright and out.
"What are you dong?" He startled as he went tp press his hair down. "Could you NOT?" It was one thing for someone like Lawr to affectionately brush his hair softly, but having it manhandled by a stranger was not in his book of a fun time.

Aww, how cute, he was upset about his hair. The man had obviously taken much care to keep the errant curls in check, although they came undone so easily. "Why?" He questioned, enjoying the softness of Melvin's silky blonde hair. a similar color to his own. Yet he didn't do much with it, a simple tie to keep it out of the way. No need to spend hours on it. He continued his merriment in undoing all of Melvin's hard work. "Seems kind of foolish to spend so much time on your hair. Especially when you could be spending it in much more logical means. Like training to not be such a light weight." The moon stepped back to admire his handiwork. "I don't think horsemen would stop to admire how much effort you waste on such things."

He stepped back, pressing his hands down upon his head. Who knew where this guys hands had been!
Frowning and flustered, he tried to use his own fingers to make some order but it was quickly coming undone. Great! Just great! It got bad enough when he napped in the labs.
"So what? If the horsemen can kill me then whatever happens happens. Are you even here to request runic services are just to touch people?"
He took one hand to comb one last time but it just wasn't happening. "I don't fix my hair up for them anyways. What a weird thing to say." He grumbled.

It was hard for him to resist laughing his a** off at this hunters antics as he tried, in vain, to tame his wild hair, unable to stop the few snickers that did come out. "My my, this is quite a show," his smile was showing teeth. "And why yes I am. I happen to have some devices that need runics, if you would be so kind." He wondered if he could talk his way out of it, or even better get Melvin to forget he needed money. Jason stood there silently laughing at the guys attempts to fix his hair. He was still trying. Seriously, this guy either needed better hair products, or to stop wasting his time. "I can assure you it's not as weird as how hard you're trying right now."

He dropped his hands once he pointed it out and adjusted his googles.
"Alright. Come with me." He said, and he walked down the hallway and opened a lab door before looking around. A few techs were moving some equipment out and he moved to go to a back table where it was more private and sat down. Various projects were in various states of dismantling and runic assembling, a few computers hooked up to various things to do more intricate work.
Melvin's station had a set of scanners that were going to various offices that he finished up that morning.
Taking his glasses off a moment, he set them on the desk and turned around, looking at him. "Well, what devices so I can get an idea of what I'm working with here."

He couldn't believe his luck. Was Melvin actually going to do it? Jason could barely contain his glee as he was led into one of the labs, casting smug looks at the other hunters in the building. Once he was at the small table in the back he eyed the items that were strew on the table, the computers busy doing compter-y stuff. He had never been in this part before, having had no need to get things runified. (The actual reason was he was too poor to get anything done) When prompted, the moon fished around in his coat and took out a broken down looking laptop. "This." He may have neglected to mention that this wasn't actually his device, he just took it from a table when no one was looking. Hey, if they weren't going to look after it, than it should go towards someone who would.

Melvin stared at the laptop, and then at Jason, before taking it from him to set it on the desk. He tilted the back up to inspect the bottom, the battery, and then folded it open and turned it around.
"Open it for me so I can get a better look at the specs and get an idea of what this is going to take." He said, pointing at the screen.

A easy enough request. Jason opened the screen up and pressed the power button. At least the stupid thing turned on, that was good. Except it had booted to a log on screen. He stared at it, not realize the previous owner would have done the obvious and added password protection. "...Do I need to log in?" He asked. Maybe he could bluff his way out of this...

Jason knew he was in some deep s**t now. He leaned forwards, tapping on the screen and trying to guess the password. When putting in the word password didn't work he tried a few other things. Eventually, he sat back. "i forgot my password." He stated.
