Naomi suffers Urbach-Wiethe disease which causes her to lack the ability to process fear and dangers, due to this, Naomi behaves rather recklessly and without care. Despite reaching her Teen years, Naomi retains the majority of her childish behaviors and as such, she enjoys pulling pranks on others or down right bothering them. It would be wrong to say that she didn't enjoy being scolded, Naomi displays traits of Masochist and as such she enjoys being scolded, she personally relates it as if being sexually teased. From her Masochistic side, Naomi enjoys being hit or physically abused, but it should be noted that this has never reached to the point of quite literally risking her life.
Naomi also displays a Sadistic side which causes others to label her as a "Switch", unlike a Masochist who enjoys being in pain, the Sadist portion enjoys causing pain. This side of Naomi is typically seen during combat, despite her knowledge of the human body and how to easily and quickly kill someone, Naomi would much rather torture an opponent before killing them, be it physically or mentally. The same Sadistic feeling provides her the same sexual sensation as her Masochist side. Born without the ability to effectively process fear, Naomi has grown up with an unnatural enjoyment for combat and as such, she can be seen constantly smiling or laughing while fighting. History
From birth Naomi never expressed a feeling of fear, not when she was nearly killed by a falling tree, not when she was accidentally stabbed, all she did was laugh and smile at it all. Enrolling academy at a young age was concerning for her parents, mostly her mother, her father had mixed feelings towards it. On one hand, his daughter had shown to be fearless which may prove beneficial, but on the other?...It may prove to be her downfall.. At a young age, no more than 5 years old, Naomi was subjected to her father cruel training.
For weeks, sometimes months, Naomi was isolated in the deepest of forest within the Land of Water, left alone to fend for herself. The young Naomi had to learn to understand the basic laws of nature, without fear, Naomi brutally killed off the animals in the forest with each training session. Naomi took these sessions to study the limitation of a living body, studying how much pain an organism can handle until it eventually gives and she enjoyed it, she enjoyed watching the animals squirm and squeal with each capture. Taking these skills, Naomi became ruthless during her time at the academy, constantly threatening others and even tormenting her classmates.
Graduating and eventually becoming a Chunin only further increased her lust for danger along with her sexual desires.
