Sauntering forward he looked around, he didn't have a set destination in mind. He was just wandering. Ever since the brotherhood had disbanded he hadn't really thought of where he might go. He was honestly fine with traveling through the lands, though it was a bit of a bittersweet ordeal. He had found his brother, his last remaining family and now they were once again thrown to the winds.
Funny how that worked. Flicking his tail behind him the leopard let out a small huff and carried on. He was feeling a little restless and was hoping for a bit of company, preferably female. Seeking out a nice place to take a break he spotted a rather barren looking tree that provided just enough shade and he made himself comfortable and waited.

She had been separated from her guard... again. It wasn't something Leenah did on purpose, far from it. She knew that the rogue land was a dangerous place for any lone traveler, the majority of her life she spent running from one dangerous event after another. Having a guard with her made her feel safe when wandering unknown lands.
When she had awoken from her nap, she saw her guard missing. Without a second thought, she looked for him, which led her to her current situation of being lost. The situation wasn't too concerning for the cheetah. She assumed she would cross paths with her guard eventually.
As she walked, her attention went to a leopard. She grinned and made her way over to him. “Hello there!” She spoke in her chipper voice. “You haven't by chance see a cheetah wandering around this area have you?”

Being where he was he was well aware of the cheetah as she came into view. Waiting patiently for her to notice him he smiled when she made her way towards him. Finally he'd have someone to talk to. Even if it might be idle banter.
As she called out he gave her his full attention and stood up to greet her properly. Shaking himself to dislodge the dust he had to shake his head with a regretful look on his face. "I'm sorry, I can't say that I have. You're the first I've seen in a long while honestly." He said to her with a quick glance around.
"What do they look like? Perhaps I can keep an eye out for you?" He offered.

“Oh he's a giant grump, you can't miss him. He always looks angry.” Leenah made a face mockingly of her guard and then laughed at her antics. “But he's good at what he does! He had never let me down. Though he's probably going to scold me for wandering off.”
She looked around the area. Other then the leopard, there wasn't anyone in sight. Such a lonely place, she thought as she looked back at her new leopard friend. “Would you mind if I stuck around this area for a bit? If my guard is looking for me, it would probably be best for me to stick to one spot instead of continuing to wander.”

He couldn't help but laugh at her words as she imitated what he would look like. "I'm sure he's not someone you could miss if he looks like that." He chuckled warmly.
"I'm sure he won't scold you, after all he was the one who wandered off first." He pointed out with a raised brow.
he thought about her words for a moment. She had a guard with her, he wondered why that was. It hadn't been something he would have usually thought of but he was quite familiar with the position as he used to tail Hadeth and Cheveyo often enough to make sure they were safe.
"I wouldn't mind at all. It would definitely be a good idea to stay in one spot if you know he might be looking for you." He said looking around before returning his attention to her.
"I promise I'm decent enough company." He gave her a wink and motioned for her to come into the shade with him. "I'm Iregi, what may I call you?" He asked her.

Leenah laughed. “Oh he will find something I did wrong, trust me.” He was never mean about it, usually just worried about her well being. It was about there third venture together that he had given up on always being by her side.
“I expect to be highly entertained while I am with you.” She remarked jokingly. “I am sure that we both have marvelous stories to share as we wait.”
Typically Nera used code names when they were on missions, but it was something Leenah had never adapted. She had been known as Leenah for so long, the idea of anyone calling her something strange. “Iregi, it is wonderful to meet you. My name is Leenah-Sesi, but you can just call me Leenah.” She responded.
“I am curious, is this place your home?” she gestured with her paw.

"I'm sure he means well." He gave a nod of his head at her words. "Well, I will pray to the Gods that I do not disappoint." He laughed and smiled. "I have no doubt in that. Especially since I've been quite a few places." He added in there at the end.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Leenah, that's quite a lovely name." He said as he spoke it, listening to the syllables roll off his tongue.
Looking around he gave a huff. "Oh goodness no. This is definitely not my home." Well at least not permanently. "It's really just a place to rest for now, so it's a temporary home I suppose. My home was far from here, but they disbanded recently."
The words made him frown slightly. "What of you? Is your home nearby?"

“I am glad that it is only temporary! I couldn't imagine living in such a place. It would feel so lonely.” Perhaps if there was more life in the area, it wouldn't be too bad, but she preferred her own home. “That's such a shame. Are you looking for your old pride mates? Or a new home?”
She had encountered ex-pride members who either were forced to leave their home or left willingly. It was hard for most of them to move on.
“My home is far from here. Whenever my guard needs to leave the pride for official business, I try to tag along. I used to travel a lot, so being stuck in the pride can become dreadfully boring at times.” Leenah explained. “But I honestly wouldn't ever leave the pride. It has become my home.”

"It does get fairly lonely out here." In a lot of ways, but she was certain to understand that. Especially if she spent a lot of time out here.
"I'm just a wandering soul right now. I'm not exactly sure what I want just yet." It was true, he didn't know where to go or what to do. He had sought out his father after his mothers death only to find a half brother remaining. And now the pride he had come to call home was gone.
So he was just sort of lost.
In-between sorts.
"Traveling is always good for the soul." He said looking at her with a smile. "You should continue to tag along with him." He said to her. While she had said she had wanted to stay right here there was some water a few minutes walk away. "Would you like to accompany me to get some water? It's close by and then we can come back here and wait for your guard." He suggested.

“I am sure that you'll find a place to call home. There are so many amazing places out there. One of them must be the perfect home for you.” Leenah said optimistically.
The offer of water was music to her ears. She wasn't thirsty, but it was always enjoyable to play around in the water, or at the very least get her paws wet. It would be nice and relaxing. “That sounds wonderful!” Her tail was waving back and forth, showing her excitement. “If my guard does come this way, I am sure he'll be clever enough to follow our tracks. Would you like to lead the way?”
She stood closely next to him, ready to go on their small trek.

He had no doubts that he'd be able to find a place eventually, but for now he was just sort of stagnant. He smiled when she showed enthusiasm at the prospect of going to water. "I'm sure he will. I'd be honored to."
Taking lead he led them on to their first adventure together.
