 Amalthea looked around the playroom, she had been dropped off at daycare since her mommy and daddy had work and she hadn't started at the academy yet. She was nervous, none of her siblings were there to protect her, what if someone was mean to her or took a toy away from her?? This was going to be a tough day. She looked around for something to play with. She spotted a block corner and went over to it and sat down. She proceeded to start building a tower. She did her best to balance the blocks but every now and then she would knock down part of the tower. She bites her lip trying to think.

Juju was in a similar situation. Ziya, his babysitter and moms best friend, was busy in classes to be able to pick him up. And his mom was also busy with her studies, which meant he had daycare time as well. Often he'd meet his brother Orion there but.... the other boy was on a field trip. What was he supposed to do while he waited???
Dragging his feet as he walked into the room, antenna drooping, they suddenly perked up as an idea struck him. Oh! He could play his DS! Maybe he'd be able to catch up with his brother in Zelda! Pulling his back pack around, he dug inside of it while walking, not paying attention to where he was going. Now where was his DS....
Due to his lack of awareness to his surroundings, it was inevitable that he would walk right into the tower that was so diligently being built by the other freshling, making him yelp in surprise and backpeddle madly, falling on his butt. Blinking at what was in front of him, he gasped and widened his eyes upon realizing what happened. He slowly looked at Amalthea, his brows growing close, as he stumbled and fumbled to get to the blocks "oh my gosh I AM SO SORRY!!" He quickly wailed, clumsily trying to pick up the blocks to put them back in order.

Amalthea blink when one moment her tower was sorta standing still wobbling and falling down every so often when the fey knocked it over again with their backpack. "Umm that's ok, it was about due to fall over again." Amalthea said softly "I'm Amalthea. Who are you?" She asked in her soft tone. Looking the blue fey over. Then she started to try to stack the blocks again, her tower still not very stable as she went about her stacking. She blinked her third eye, maybe that was messing up how she was seeing things. So she closed her third eye and tried again.

Oh gosh, oh gosh, how could he have been so clumsy? As always! Panic Still ensuing, he stacked as quickly as he could, of course not knowing if he was doing it properly or not. The hybrid felt just terrible ruining all this hard work the other kid had done! When his attempts to stack the blocks was done, he looked at her worriedly little mouth shaped like a wriggly noodle with his distress. She didn't seem mad... or upset...
Tension leaving him a little, Juju curiously watched the additional eye the other freshling sported close gently. Wow that was cool! But he didn't say anything, not wanting to make his arrival worsen the situation even more! "I-I'm jujube!" He replied, pulling his book bag into his lap. "What're you buildin" he asked shakily, hesitantly. Maybe he could help some more to make up for his rudeness!

Amalthea shrugged "I was just building a tower kinda.." She pouted a little and said. "It wasn't very good though." She looked at juju's tower which looked pretty good. "Nice to meet you Juju." She said softly then started putting the blocks away. Then started looking about the room for something else to play. "So what are you going to do today??" Amalthea asked curiously. If Ama got mad everytime someone knocked down her tower she would have been made or crying forever. She had a bunch of siblings at home after all and if she cried she got called a cry baby.

His antenna pricked up at the little girls change in demeanor. Not very good? Looking at the colourful blocks and their arrangement, he shook his head fervently. "No, they looked just fine! I think.... but then I knocked them all over!" He tried to convince her. She seemed so sad....
As she began to put the blocks away Jujube joined in helping, feeling quite responsible now for the sudden end in her building. How to make it up to the girl... he looked up as another question was aimed his way, an idea striking him at the same time. "Oh! I was going to play in my DS while I waited for my babysitter to get me." He dug into his backpack again, pulling out the purple handheld. "You can play it first though!" His hand jutted out to offer it to the other freshling.

Ama smiled a little when Juju helped her pick up the blocks and then offered to let her play his DS. She blinked and then sat down "Show me how to play??" She asked softly "I've never played DS before." She said looking curiously at the device. She didn't know if any of her siblings had a DS but no one had offered to let her play one. She had never thought of asking her parents for a DS before. Perhaps she would ask for one from her parents if she liked what she saw on Juju's game. Amalthea didn't really have any hobbies of her own yet, perhaps this could be one for her.

Jujube scooted around to settle himself beside the other freshling. Crossing his legs, and tucking his wings out of the way, he positioned the ds between them so she could see, "ok! See this little green guy? This is who you control and play! You move him around and you attack these bad guys here!" He pointed out. His thumbs would click to show the different attacks you could command, and how they worked on certain bad guys. Beaming at Ama, he once again offered his ds, "wanna try? I can keep explaining while you play!"

Ama smiled at Juju as they sat on the floor, she watched him play for a little bit. Then he offered her a chance to try. She nodded and accepted the DS, she did her best to kill the bad guys but she was having a little bit of trouble. Ama was having so much fun learning to play a new game, she didn't notice that it was almost time to go home. She was watching the screen and the little green man, listening for Juju to give her advice on how to kill the bad guys. She smiled this was fun, she would definitely be asking her parents for a DS.

His antenna were wavering with his excitement, especially as the little girl accepted his game. Juju leaned in to watch as she gave it a go, gasping or chirping up to give tips or a heads up should some sneaky bad guy be coming out to get her. It looked like she was enjoying it which was all the better. Maybe he'd get another gaming pal! He'd have to tell Orion!
But also like Ama, Juju had gotten so caught up in their gaming fun that he didn't notice the time... that is until he heard a familiar sigh and throat clear. Perking up as he heard his name called by his babysitter Ziya, who was waiting at the doorway impatiently, he gave a peep of surprise, and jumped to his feet. "Ooh! I gotta go!" Quickly looking to Ama as he picked up hid backpack, he smiled nervously to her," ah I can let you play some more the next time I see you!"
