Eun was walking through the park he didn't really have a place to go in mind, he spotted the swings and smiled thinking of playing with Parfait when he was a freshling. He wanted to see her again sometimes and he hoped he would. He sat down on one of the swings and started swinging slowly. He dragged his feet through the dirt below the swing. Looking around at the other freshlings playing in the park that day. He as usual was keeping a sharp eye out for bullies he didn't put up with it when he was a freshling and he wouldn't allow it now he was a junior.

Recess had just been given the go ahead, and tons of little freshling were being guided outside. It wasn't as cold as the days prior, meaning it was safe enough for them to go out and play, while keeping bundled up. Tottering along in his own winter attire of a thick puffy coat, Susu waited to see where the other kids were playing before making a decision himself. He'd yet to make any friends since arriving, and not many would talk to him...
He'd tried to be his usual kind and nice self in hopes it might mean he'd make some relations but... to no avail. If anything, he felt quite excluded and alienated. It.. was a strange feeling. One he wasn't used to. Multiple tails flicked and swayed gently behind him as he watched the other children already getting into their games. Hm... what should he do..?
But before he could, a pair of older kids sauntered over his way, gawking at him, laughing and making odd sounds of surprise. 'Whoa kid, what's wrong with your eyes?? What's wrong with your mouth?' They snickered, Susu peeking his ears with surprise. His split little mouth shrunk with confusion, trio of eyes furrowing uncertainly, "Uhm... I'm sorry, I don't understand your questions..?" He politely replied, flinching lightly as his face was poked at near the corners of his mouth.
'Eww your mouth is so weird!' The junior brayed, the other one poking at the eye on Susu's forehead.

Eun growled he saw what the juniors were doing to the little freshling Hallowed he jumped off the swing and rushed over. "Get away from the freshling you jerks." Eun growled, "You should know better than to pick on a freshling you freaking bullies." Eun growled. Eun looked them over with his heart shaped eyes. Some mistook him for a grimm, but Eun corrected them. He had no problem with who he was. He knew he wasn't cursed, though the magic that made him the way he was, was technically a curse. Eun had seen many Hallowed they were unique magical beings. Many had accepted their kind with open arms, others like those in his village were cold and heartless. For juniors to be poking and mocking a poor freshling Eun imagined these jerks were from a village or town like his small hearts, small minds. With no room for bigger thoughts. "Back off now." Eun growled putting himself between the jerks and the little freshling.

Trying his best to use tiny hands to cover his mouth and center eye as best he could, Susu also attempted to back away from the bullying juniors. But they were persistent, making his ears pin back and tails tuck behind him. Why weren't they stopping? What were they talking about?
Tensing up considerably with his discomfort, the tiny hallow was feeling himself getting stressed with his inability to fend off the big kids. He felt so helpless... but suddenly another voice spoke up, causing the prodding and teasing to give pause. The two older kids looked and stood up as Eun approached, raising a brow at the other teen. Noticing his mutation as well, the pair of teens snickered more, "looks like the weirdos stick together." One of them commented nastily.
With Eun separating the bullies from Susu, the small freshling tried to father himself, blinking his eyes as he saw the pink figure in front of him now... especially the familiar, comforting sight of a kumiho tail. Instinctively, he gently reached to cling to the fluffy tail to huddle against, hiding himself as best he could from the mean kids who'd been picking on him, thankful for the partition.
The two jerks were set in another round of teasing but a guardian noticed the ill mannered exchanges, calling the two boys over firmly. With a groan the two reluctantly made their way slowly from the two kumiho, but not without giving a glare at them as they left.

Eun frowned looking at the bullies "You know what it's not only those who are different." That was his parting shot before the caretaker made the bullies leave the freshling alone. Eun shook his head jerks. Then he turned to look at the little freshling and asked. "Are you alright??" Eun hoped the kid didn't cry. He had never been very good with tears. "They were wrong you know, there is nothing wrong with you." Eun said gently. "I'm Eun." He said nicely. Eun waited for the freshling to say something. He wasn't sure what else to say, the freshling was a Hallowed kumiho, so much like the freshlings he had helped to look after at the orphanage.

It was a relief to hear the two rude juniors start to walk away, though he kept clinging to the fluffy tail for safety and comfort. Only when he heard his saviors voice did he slowly peek back up, ears raising as well. Oh! He was holding someone else's tail! How rude of him!
Quickly he let go, smoothing down the pink fur he'd been clinging to apologetically, before giving a very small, shaken smile. "I'm fine, thank you..." he gave a small bow, his normal manners still able to kick in despite how stunned and shocked he was. " thank you so much for saving me, Eun. My name is Susumu." The mention of the bullies cruel words made him reach to touch his own mouth. He knew he was different in some ways but... no one had ever been that aggressive about it towards him before. His eyes were a little glossy from a few tears starting to surface from the pure shock of the experience. Blinking in surprise from the tears himself, he quickly dabbed at each eye to dry them. "Ah pardon me." Hoe embarrassing!
With a small deep breath, he mustered up a small, polite smile for Eun, "I'm not sure what I did to provoke those older kids."

Eun didn't mind the little freshling petting his tail, it didn't hurt and it seemed to show that the freshling wasn't bothered by his tail which was nice. Eun smiled "I guess it's what I do I don't like seeing anyone bullied but it just makes me super made to see a Hallowed bullied. There was enough of that back in the forbidden forest." Eun grumbled darkly. Eun smiled and said "Nice to meet you Susumu." Eun said warmly. Eun went down on his knee and said softly "It's ok there is nothing wrong with crying Susumu." Eun frowned "Where are your parents?? Do you want me to take you to them or back to the academy??" Eun shook his head "Some being don't need a reason to be cruel they just want to see someone else hurt."

His little fingers laced together as a means to help comfort him through this strange encounter with... his first true bullies. They'd been so hostile towards him... he wasn't sure who they were. So why had they come to him with such rude things to say? But as Eun expressed his own mission to look out for Hallows especially, Susu twitched his ears gently. It was because he was simply Hallowed that he had been targeted like that? How... barbaric...
Clutching his small hands nervously, he had a hard time meeting Eun's eyeline, feeling quite embarrassed for the predicament for how they'd met. But the other kumiho was being so kind... and nice. Smiling a tiny bit more, his tails curled around his tiny legs bashfully, "Thank you, Eun. You are very kind, and brave~" he replied softy. Regaining some of his composure, he managed to look up to the crouched junior, "Oh, my parents are back home at the village, but they've allowed me to come live at the academy as I requested. I ... wanted to get as well acquainted with this new big world as best I could!" he answered proudly. It'd been a little nerve-wracking at first, when he came here by himself but... he'd gotten a roomate, and was slowly learning about the new world that had opened up to him.
Looking around the playground, he saw a few other big kids that were lounging about. Would they pick on him too...? But Eun was a big kid too, and had been nothing but sweet. Still... he wasn't feel too comfortable being out with everyone else at the moment. "Uhm, if it isn't too much trouble... Would you mind taking me back to my room?" he asked, blushing softly. He didn't want to inconvenience the other hallowed! But... the other guardians seemed preoccupied with the other children playing.

It was horrible Eun looked Susumu there was nothing wrong with him in Eun's eyes, it was sad that even though he had moved past most of the bullying and hatred from the forbidden forest there were still pure blooded kumiho and just random nightmares and daydreams that wouldn't accept the Hallowed. That believed they were merely mutated monsters. For the nine sake each race had strange things about them so no one should discard the strange and unusual without trying to understand it. Yet still some did and it wouldn't stop overnight. Eun frowned and said "Well if you need someone to help you I'm living in the juniors dorm now, I don't have any parents so I don't have anyone I left behind in the village." Eun gave a nervous chuckle. Eun smiled and said "I would be honored to take you back to your room Susumu." Eun offered Susumu his hand to hold while they walked back to the freshling dorms.

The little fluffball had to admit, it felt more comforting that normal having a fellow kumiho expressing such acceptance. Since being exposed to all the different beings of the world, he'd been a little overwhelmed with feeling very much like a spectacle. But Eun was just like him!
And here Eun was offering even more assistance to the rattled little kumiho. So kind... Susu was grateful, bowing again to express his gratitude. But he stopped rigidly as he was righting upright again, as Eun explained his lack of parents. Instantly his multiple eyes widened and snapped up to meet the juniors. No.... parents...? He was utterly shocked and horrified at the same time, for poor Eun. He couldn't be parentless... Susu couldn't imagine where he'd be without his own! Delicately taking the offered hand, he gave a soft thank you, while following after. Maybe... his parents could also be euns! He'd have to contact them at once to remedy this issue!
