The audience chamber of Valyria Citadel. Unsurprisingly the room is made and decorated to accommodate humans. One end having a large throne while the rest of the room is ringed with benches. The one thing that makes this place stand out compared to structures in other racial lands is its size. Many rooms in the citadel, including this one are huge. The roof towers over head and is supported by mammoth columns of stone. The craftsmanship is second to none and while in here you can come to understand just how grand the dragons are, when admiring a place meant to accommodate several of them.

Opening the doors to the citadel she would begin to walk in "This is the Citadel, more specifically the audience chamber, where the sounds of everything can be heard in every corner of the room" she stated with a smile "My moms usually in here when she has to do things" [/color]she added before looking around the room, the place always amazed her, and because of the ability to carry sounds she often sang in here audience or not, as she always enjoyed hearing voices travel. she would be skipping as she walked, her tail swaying side to side, she was happy to be home, and still preferred to be home, but now she was back despite her little detour she made when she transformed, she was still fully unaware if her mother was around when she went berserk, because she forgot what happened usually moments before and such, bt alas she didn't have much care for that as she was guiding him into the place to meet her mother, it was the least she could do for helping her.

___Aviendha Cordenth___ Matriarch of Dragons When Millenia came into the room her voice instantly carried across the open expanse. It mingled with the other voices that were there first engaged in their own conversations. A pair of sharp ears picked out the sweet sound of Millenia's voice from that drone of discussion and a pair of sharp eyes quickly picked out the skipping princess. A voice overpowered the others and it clearly instructed for the room to empty. No more than five seconds later the crowds of exiting people parted to allow a woman through. She ran straight up to Millenia and then grabbed her in a hug. "Oh thank goodness you're back." A moment later there were hands moving all over her arms, up then down, pulling and pushing. This was accompanied by Aviendha leaning this way and that as she examined every square inch of her daughter. "You're not hurt are you. Thank goodness your father was able to find you." Aviendha let Millenia go and then froze up as her eyes noticed the male that had been following her daughter. It wasn't Indred. Her normally reserved expression had already been broken but it came back a little as it shifted from the relief of a moment ago to the puzzled who are you expression it now held. *Place Holder Format

Surtr listened walking softly to avoid a cacophony of echoes while following her. "Everything you dragons make is so grand. I suppose it makes sense considering you are all giants." Surtr said chuckling softly to himself at the remark. Then he heard it. The resounding and clear sound of who was in charge. This was the queen. Surtr typically didn't enjoy going to capitals like this but he would make an exception in order to meet the queen. As she approached Surtr let out a soft sigh. She must have been at least 6'6" she was certainly taller than Surtr and it likely was humorous for her to see him as the same height as her daughter. She seemed relieved beyond belief to find her daughter, understandable. It seemed Millenia was incredibly lucky and had two parents who cared for her. How lucky, it was incredibly rare and Surtr could now understand how Millenia maintained her pure innocence for 1500 years. Then she saw him, the queen looked upon him with indifference and reserve. Such poise it was certain she was experienced at this. Something that would only make this encounter more difficult. He would have to tread lightly, something that wasn't his strength. "Surtr is my name. I am the meager mage who found your daughter." Surtr said softly before dipping his head slightly. He despised such formalities but these dragons were proud people and as such he would conform even if reluctantly. He stood with his crow on her right shoulder it silently whipping its head around eying the area. It truly was grand, perhaps too grand for someone like Surtr. Though with his current company it felt.... appropriate.

Just suddenly the woman would hug Millenia, it would be this point she hugged her back, the woman would then start looking over her body "I'm Fine mama" she stated smiling "I was lucky he was there to find me in the valley" she stated, before looking down at the ground "Sorry i lost control again...I know it worries you...I was just hoping that i could figure out how to not lose control anymore...clearly i cant" Surtr decided to speak up now when the queen noticed him behind her so she decided t let the two chat it up, she was sure he wouldn't say anything bad to start another fight, which the first fight was more because of an misunderstanding, but since one could explain the misunderstanding would be easy to clear, hopefully. She waited to see what her mother was going to do, was she going to send her away to her room as well as what her father did, would she also punish Millenia for trying to control her dragon form yet again which has failed every time. Millenia had no idea what was going to happen but whatever her mother would decide she'd follow it to the point. OOC:

___Aviendha Cordenth___ Matriarch of Dragons Millenia assured Aviendha that she was fine. She listened to what all the little one had to say and then blinked in surprise. "I don't know what you mean with that apology. I really don't care if you are trying to better yourself Nia, but you shouldn't be reckless. If you are going to try it you should make sure to have one of the Deathwatch nearby so they can keep an eye on you. It's no good for you to be disappearing into the night like that. Your father was in a panic. Thought he took off before I could tell him the whole story." At that moment Aviendha titled her head back as if having a sudden idea. She closed her eyes. Mentally she was searching the bond for Indred. Her head turned as she zeroed in on his position. He was back in Valyria. He must of found the two somewhere on the way back home. The matriarch took a step closer to her daughter so the pair were standing side by side before she turned her body to face squarely toward the mage. She had already pieced together a general idea of what had possibly happened. "Surtr you say is your name. I am Aviendha Cordenth, the Matriarch of the Dragons." She bowed her head in a show of gratitude induced humbleness. "I thank you for finding my daughter and returning her to me. I also hope that my husband didn't give you too much... trouble." She lifted her head and examined him. He was shorter than her, in fact the top of his head lined up more or less with the top of Millenia's. That made him short even for a human. More importantly he didn't seem to be too battered up. "I suppose you were hoping for a reward?" While she phrased this as a question the tone she had indicated that she knew enough of the world that she had little to no doubts that was what he was after. *Place Holder Format

Surtr sighed as she thanks him and mentioned her husband. "You dragons sure are protective. I suppose it's why most of your young see growth to full age." Surtr said softly nodding a bit to himself as if to agree with his own assessment of the conclusion that dragons were very protective. The king had certainly given Surtr a workout but nothing more than he could handle. The mage was pleased with himself though. He had gotten a spell and learned an incredible amount information on dragons. Such a day indeed. As she inquired about a reward Surtr chuckled to himself. "I suppose if you'd like you could but I do not seek money so I doubt there is a reward that would be of interest. In all honesty I was in the area and your daughter happened to be there. I would say its unlikely that a reward is deserving." Surtr said in a bit of a playful tone trying to keep this from becoming too serious. He didn't need money and the dragons were rather protective of their information so he didn't think there would be anything she could provide he'd be interested in.

Millenia looked up at her mother as she didnt want an apology and seemed more worried than anything about her safety than her doing something in secret "yes mama, I'll make sure i inform someone next time so that this doesnt happen again...I just didn't want to worry you and to make you proud that i could do it without fail" she stated, of course in the end she did worry her, by failing hr little attempt, she had been over time trying to take it at different speeds to see if it was an issue in rushing her transformation, but this time when she finally figured out a new speed it didn't work, so she was back to square one. As that conversation wuld reach it's end she would step a few steps to the side to let her mother talk to Surtr, whom figured out they were very protective of their young "they both are very protective" she stated, she said it in a positive way as she liked the fact they were protective, because it continued to show her they loved her unconditionally. she then went silent letting them finish the introductions as well as the talk about rewards and such. ___Aviendha Cordenth___ Matriarch of Dragons Aviendha turned her head to look at her daughter for a moment. A slight smile pulled at the corners of her mouth as she answered the comment the mage about protective parents. Not that it told the whole story. Dragons really did guard their young fiercely. No other race had even ever seen a dragon that was young enough to be called small. She turned her attention back to Surtr as he spoke about his reward. There was legitimate surprise on Aviendha's face when he refused one. "Really? Happen stance or not you did still find her and help her home. You don't have to take riches. A favor perhaps? Everyone has something they would like." She said softly. She wasn't sure what it was he might want but if she offered him a favor she would at least consider it. She waited for him to respond. *Place Holder Format

As she spoked Surtr began to ponder. A favor was certainly intriguing to him. He'd be lying if he didn't have things he wanted. She couldn't speak more truth in his presence. He could probably name many a thing. If Milennia hadn't won Surtr over with that damn innocence he would likely press his luck and request a favor that would likely get him banished from the kingdom. Although the thought did cross his mind he brushed it away. He would not waste an opportunity on such a gambit. Even though it would be fun, he did not know these people well enough to make such a play. Surtr would begin to walk slowly and in a very harmless posture as he did his eyes gazing all about the room dancing from the architecture to the queen, princess, perhaps back to the queen. He would take a nice circle around the pair before coming to a stop back in front of them a bit closer than he was before. A rather less creepy way of stepping forward showing that his interests were peaked. "I am a man of knowledge..." Surtr said beginning his proposition being sure to carefully choose his words. She seemed wise and seasoned as the queen two things that demanded a certain degree of caution especially if Surtr intended to walk away with anything. "As I'm sure you knew.... I seek knowledge." Surtr said his eyes now locked wit hers. "I would happily accept that as my reward. Though your people are quite touchy on the subject." Surtr said referencing how little information there were on dragons what so ever. "Or perhaps something a bit more fun if you'd like..." Surtr said his phlegmatic disposition turning a bit more playful. "Your daughter enlightened me that Ice was your primary affinity.... As it so happens I am fire....." Surtr said with a very cheerful smile. "If you would prefer to not divulge any information, a friendly little bout would give me plenty to learn.... You seem far more level headed than your husband and with an arena as grand as this I would feel confident the two of use could stretch out legs without damaging anyone or anything..." Surtr said finishing his proposal. He had given two options to the queen and he was almost certain of which she would choose. Still he doubted she got the chance to enjoy herself especially against such a poetic match. So he stood wondering and waiting. He was testing her, the moment they walked in he could see as a queen she commanded respect and received effortlessly. Though he wanted to know more about the woman beneath the crown. Was duty was drove her or was there something beneath the cloak of royalty worth seeing. He chose his words carefully and yet they could still be interpreted incorrectly. Surtr couldn't help himself though, he knew his curiosity would always get the better of him and at least this way it would giving his the greatest chance of avoiding trouble.

] Millenia just let the two converse, there wasn't much this princess could really do at this point, it seemed more like a conversation between two adults, and she just so happened to be around for it. The queen was implying there must be a reward of some kind even f it was small, such as a favor. From the man he would suggest two things, one a bit of leeway on learning about dragons and the other was a friendly spar in the room, which made Millenia blink in surprise, after the whole situation with her father he still wanted to fight somehow. Millenia just stayed near her mother as she waited to see how she would reply, surely she knew what was the best decisions, she was queen after all. OOC:

___Aviendha Cordenth___ Matriarch of Dragons The dragon queen kept her gaze on Surtr. Her eyes shifting one direction as he started to walk in a circle around the two of them. He was looking around the room as he moved and she could tell he was thinking about the offer. Considering what he could get and weighing the pros versus the cons of the various things he could request. Evidently the idea of a favor was something that he was in fact intrigued with. Aviendha didn't turn her head as Surtr circled them. Instead just letting him do as he pleases and shifting her eyes back to the left while slight tilting her head to the right in a gesture of questioning. She was already starting to consider what he might come up with and how to respond to it. She also noticed that he had moved closer to the pair of them while circling. A clever little tactic that. When he stopped he spoke slowly, with clearly pre-picked words. He was being cautious with what he said. Aviendha's arms rose from her sides and crossed under her bosom. She more or less ignored his claim to be a seeker of knowledge, many mages and dragons alike made such claims. Rather than being interested in that her interest had already focused itself around the idea that this mage could be an accomplished diplomat if he ever wished to try his hand at the role. Surtr's eyes locked with her own as he continued with his painstakingly chosen words. He was interested in knowledge about dragons and knowledge about dragons. Aviendha giggled softly for a moment at him. Particularly his offer to try and learn about them with a spar was amusing. Her right hand pulled free off her crossed arms so that she could hold it up palm outward between the two of them in a slow down kind of manner. "We treasure knowledge as much as you do, yes. We don't like to share the wisdom we have gathered, yes. However, we have no qualms with sharing some stuff." Aviendha took a step and then another towards Surtr. They were close enough to shake hands now. Her arms returned to sides, though they still crossed in front of her as her hands were clasped in front of her. "If it is knowledge you want and you can get it without having to have special permissions to enter the Grand Library then I see no reason to not sate your appetite. After all the desire to satisfy curiosity is an hunger. More over we dragons have a great deal of pride in what we are, if you learn about us then you will only find proof to back what we place so much pride in." The queen had a very bright smile as she spoke. It faded away though as she steered the topic back to business. "So what would you need to do to get the knowledge you're seeking?"*Place Holder Format

As she moved closer to him Surtr did not move obviously not intimidated by her motions. As she spoke Surtrs playful smirk seemed to die down he was rather saddened, he wished she would have humored him and let loose a bit. Seemed the king was too quick to action and she was not quick enough. He supposed the two made the perfect couple quite the match he wagered. Alas though it seemed there would be no fun for him to have today. There heat around him would die down signifying he was not very pleased with what was going on. As she spoke he listened understanding exactly what she spoke and the diction she used. "There is so little known about your people I'm unsure of where to start. I will take whatever you can give." Surtr said a spark of playfulness in the eternal night that was this encounter. Millenia may have been innocence but the queen was the definition of duty. She was devoted to everything she was, he daughter, her kingdom, and worst of all her king. Such a pain to deal with ones like this. It was no fun.

___Aviendha Cordenth___ Matriarch of Dragons Aviendha was a little surprised that Surtr had nothing to say on where exactly to start this. She had no idea how he could gain information so it put her on the spot. She could make a suggestion but it would be hit or miss on if her suggestion would be of any relevance to Surtr. More than that there was a moment when he actually seemed to be devastatedly disappointed. Did he really want to fight that much. She would of figured he got enough of that when Indred found him. Aviendha turned her head to look back over her shoulder at her daughter. "Nia, you can go if you want. I'm sure you have some ideas of more amusing things to do than just watching us. I can always send a runner if you are needed." The queen then turned her head back to Surtr. She seemed to study him for a moment while Millenia was leaving the room. After she had gone Aviendha extended her hand towards the mage. "Well how about this. I will give you permission to do what every you think you need to to learn about dragons from me. Within reason of course. And perhaps if you are willing to share some stories with me you can get even more. Should we begin with this perhaps?" Over the hand that she had extended before she spoke a cold aura formed, taking the form of small ice crystals which swirled about over her palm like a cyclone of snow. She lifted her hand to her mouth and blew. The snow scattered creating a rather harmless cone of ice that would part and swirl around Surtr. "Or if not that then perhaps something else?" She offered not sure what all he would like to examine or see. *Place Holder Format

Millenia just looked at her mother as she seemed to have everthing under control, though she would turn to her and smile as she would dismiss her "Yes mama, Just dont take too long alright" she stated before she would then skip her way out of the room and the building doing god knows what.
