This was the worst. Giotto had decided in the grand scheme of things that maybe hallowed really were cursed. Okay maybe all of them weren't cursed but Giotto definitely was. Why you ask? Well he had been spending his day peacefully and trying not to cause people harm. Since his parents were out on tour he was currently crashing at the academy and figured this abandoned classroom was a good chance to catch up on homework. It was relatively empty and peaceful, and his sole companion in the room was rather quiet. So when Seraph sent a distress call to ask for his help Giotto decided to lend his brotherly support. Only to have a sharp chill run down his spine.... the chill worked when he went to open the door. It was stuck, he couldn't get it open to save his life. Even worse was the childish giggling on the other side. The eerie childish giggling. "You heard that right" he found escaping him.

Today fiore had decided to stay at school longer. All of her parental figures were at class until late and the rest of her family was meeting up with different friends. Fiore figured it was an excellent time to catch up on the reading for language arts. Luckily there was a mostly empty classroom. Only other person was her classmate Giotto, and he was known for being relatively on the quiet side. So she was about a chapter from being done when she heard it. Eerie childish laughter. It was the type of sound she often heard when around... well it wasn't important. However she had the feeling something had was going to happen, which it did seconds later when Giotto tried to open the door. "I can indeed. You a medium too?" She asked. It was a silly question if he was asking about the giggles.

Giotto nodded and let out a sigh before trying the door again. It was still locked. He did briefly consider phasing though the door but if Fiore could hear the giggling he didn't want to leave her alone in a locked creepy classroom, even if it was to get help. Besides he had told Seraph what room he was in. Seraph would get worried and most likely go searching for him after his emergency. He had to just wait this out.
"Definitely cursed." He muttered out loud. Suddenly sitting there in the silence didn't seem appealing. A sentiment Fiore shared if her closing of the book was any indication. Only problem was that he was terrible at starting conversations.

Fiore shut the book and watched as Giotto walked away from the door to sit at the desk she had been using. From the sound when he had opened it, it seems as if the lock had been engaged. She did briefly wonder why the classroom had a lock but there where stranger things to ponder about the school. Her attention flipped back to Giotto though when he mumbled again.
"Oh, why would you say that?" Fiore asked. She didn't even think about the fact he was hallowed. Her uncle/ second dad figure was hallowed so she just kind of accepted it as a thing in life.

Giotto looked a bit startled at the question. It was true that talking would help lessen the creepiness of the situation, and he had been hoping Fiore would some how start a conversation. This wasn't what he was expecting, although he had said that out loud come to think of it. He really shouldn't have been that surprised.
"Ah.... well it's just that I have extremely bad luck is all. This is almost normal" he admitted rubbing the back of his head. Supposedly some people with medium powers got normal lonely ghosts if he read correctly. He always seemed to attract the ones that pulled stuff like this on him.

Fiore hummed a bit while she listened to Giotto answer her question. She supposed the life of a celebrity or their family had to be tough. Even more so since Giotto had unusual features. However his attitude would work at all. Not at all.
"Have you ever tried to change it?" Fiore replied. "It just seems like you've accepted it. I have always thought that our out look in life influences our luck. Of course, you do have outside circumstances and maybe I'm just assuming things and butting in where I shouldn't but don't let life just kick you around". Oh dear now she was lecturing the poor other hybrid.

Giotto blinked and had a sort of deer in the headlights look, which thinking about it later would probably be pretty creepy looking with the multi pupils and the glow from his eyes. He had only managed to say I of all things as he thought about what Fiore said. He had just always been somewhat of a pessimist. After all he had almost been dropped and cracked before his birth by a crazy fan, causing his father to catch his stone and awaken him in October. He got occasionally bullied because he was famous and hallowed, and ghost pulled pranks on him. However had he ever tried to change it? Fiore was right in that he just seemed to accept that as his lot in life? Would anything really change if he tried to see more positively or something?
“Ah thanks Fiore. I think… I’ll try”

Fiore blushed, while Giotto seemed to ponder over her words. Luckily he didn’t seem to be mad at her little but he had been like that in class too. He always pondered different ideas if they came up. It was kind of cool. Most people Fiore found just kind of dismissed anything that was new.
“It’s no problem. At my house we just try to take things positively and the adults are always bringing it up I guess” Fiore practically stuttered as it was her turn to rub the back of her head nervously. It was then the moment was cut by the fact that Giotto’s cellphone started ringing.

Giotto had been about to say something towards Fiore’s comments when his cellphone went off. Looking down he had to smile. Apparently Seraph had resolved the emergency faster than he thought. Oh boy he was using all caps. Seraph must be really worried.
‘WHERE ARE YOU?’
‘got locked in the abandoned class room with a friend’ giotto texted back mentioning exactly what classroom it was since they had a couple of abandoned classrooms scattered across campus. ‘It was the ghost’s fault’. Now normally one would think that Seraph would blow the answer off for the most part charting it to their sibling’s over active imagination. However Seraph was a medium as well.
‘I’ll get the keys. Stay safe’
“Looks like my big brother is going to rescue us soon” Giotto replied looking up from his phone.

“Gotta love big brothers” Fiore agreed. While technically she was the oldest out of her sibling and half siblings, Arinas would always be the group’s big brother. He was the type to run to the rescue when you needed him. Well since they had a rescue plan in sight with keys involved, both giotto and Fiore relaxed a bit just falling into the more comfortable silence that they had been in earlier. Fiore even pulled the book out to read again.
So it was to her surprise when the door opened about fifteen minutes later and what she assumed was Giotto’s older brother walked through the door. The surprise however was the very tearful Mielle that was behind him. Fiore barely kept her footing at the barreling hug. How... why? She was just going to go with it.
“guess we have to included little sisters” Giotto chuckled before getting up to get his own hug.
“that we do indeed”
